Hello !
The latest articles option and related posts come from WordPress not from Newspaper Theme. You can disable it from here as you can see: https://www.screencast.com/t/uzXRgXTiHlH You can disable that and replace it with a Flex block that has more editing options.
Thank you !
Hello !
Unfortunately on normal blocks you cannot edit the image size. You can replace the normal block with a flex block as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/zyrkeXxbY8c
Thank you !
Hi,
The most faster and easier way it will be to use a custom css like this one -> https://i.imgur.com/ZNZox2l.png
.td-big-grid-flex .td-big-grid-flex-post-empty .td-image-wrap {
background-color: #fff;
}
This code can be set in theme panel> custom code > custom css.
Hope this will help you!
Hi bribiz,
I just checked your mega menu from food and is seems that all the subcategories are displaying the same results when are selected, it is like these links for other subcategories are redirected to same category, I think that this is because you do not have set in category template a post loop and you have set a flex block, please edit the category page and replace the LATEST FOOD ARTICLES block (this is a flex block) with a posts loop element (only this element can adapt after each category) -> https://i.imgur.com/aWC4sr0.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/XhdJkWP.jpg
Let me know the results!
Hi,
I think that you are referring to excerpt -> https://i.imgur.com/VFDtRwS.png this excerpt can be display only in modules (flex blocks ) and blocks. Flex blocks these has the option to display or hide this text -> https://i.imgur.com/Z8K6IlZ.jpg
Also on blocks can be set using using our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
Thank you!
Hi, our theme is generating thumbs or each image in the moment that this is uploaded in media, therefore for each thumb enable in theme panel it will be generate a thumb and this will be crop to can fit with the thumb size, also you can use our guide from here to regenerate these thumbs -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/

First, when I try to import the footer tag in the composer, I get this error: Footer – Magazine PRO – by tagDiv
One of the images failed to upload.
The reason why I’m trying to import this demo footer again is because I can only directly edit and not “edit template” It’s the only one where I cannot edit through the tagdiv composer. When I click edit in the cloud templates, it’s just a bunch of code
[tdc_zone type="tdc_footer"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row" tdc_css="eyJhbGwiOnsicGFkZGluZy10b3AiOiI1NCIsInBhZGRpbmctYm90dG9tIjoiMjAiLCJiYWNrZ3JvdW5kLWNvbG9yIjoiIzExMTExMSIsImJhY2tncm91bmQtaW1hZ2UiOiJ1cmwoXCJodHRwczovL2NiZGtubC5jb20vd3AtY29udGVudC91cGxvYWRzLzIwMjAvMDkvZm9vdGVyX2JnLmpwZ1wiKSIsIm9wYWNpdHkiOiIwLjEiLCJkaXNwbGF5IjoiIn0sInBob25lIjp7InBhZGRpbmctdG9wIjoiNDAiLCJkaXNwbGF5IjoiIn0sInBob25lX21heF93aWR0aCI6NzY3LCJwb3J0cmFpdCI6eyJwYWRkaW5nLXRvcCI6IjQ0IiwiZGlzcGxheSI6IiJ9LCJwb3J0cmFpdF9tYXhfd2lkdGgiOjEwMTgsInBvcnRyYWl0X21pbl93aWR0aCI6NzY4fQ=="][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/3"][td_flex_block_1......
Hi,
If you are using the same demo like this one https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/ then you can edit it using tagDiv Composer select the flex block or big grid flex and check the filter tab -> https://i.imgur.com/nV8cH7S.jpg
Thank you!
Hey,
I am using the pulses pro theme.
now, I did upload the image resized to 800 x600 px, it is however getting cropped on one flex block or the other.
in this demo, the very first block is flex block 5. what should be the layout settings such that the image doesn’t get cropped at the 800x 600 px, and the overall theme looks like in the demo.
here is the link to the post : https://travelnewsy.com/2020/09/28/world-tourism-day-tour-operators-conduct-a-rally-seeking-governments-support-for-tourism-industry/
its getting cropped in flexblock 5, or if i change the layout settings, the front page settings dont look good.
(this post currently showing in flexblock5, howwever by the time you check this message, i might have added more posts to website, so you may not actually see it there – so pls advise accordingly)

Hi,
Please make a test, add a new flex block and set the filter on it to see if the posts from that category are displaying -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/ if is working then you can use the right click to copy the style form that block to your block
Let me know the results!
Hi,
Unfortunately the style from the text inside post content/excerpt -> https://nimbusweb.me/nimbus-screenshots/317f171406c38e5a7c0d97ca40d8e863 can not be display on blocks/modules, in this way was made the theme (that stile is removed from flex blocks to can apply the individual style with tagDiv Composer), you can set only individual style as provide above.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Ye, it is possible, but you’ll have some work to do to make it the same.
First the layout is stretch 1400px -> https://i.imgur.com/j72DfUF.jpg then you need to use some flex blocks to achieve the layout for first 2 posts -> https://i.imgur.com/Eafi4OS.png after that you need to use the post loop element from tagDiv Composer, here is an example, in big steps the page layout -> https://i.imgur.com/o8RNcMP.png if you want you can take it from here -> https://pastebin.com/jxFxTwTA and past it in an empty page https://i.imgur.com/rjRqjQW.png
Hope this will help you!
No this did not help. I would like to overwrite the styles provided by flex Grid and use the formatting from post content. That is what i am looking for.
Hi,
If you want you can have the sidebar on mobile version using the responsive version, also the ads can be display on mobile theme using these settings -> https://i.imgur.com/T1x3def.png
I’m sure that there will be more options and it will be more flexible.
As for the problems you are facing, if you want I can take a look to it, just let me know what is exactly the problem and provide me a link where I can inspect it.
Thank you!
Hi Avinash, you can edit the flex block settings using tagDiv Composer, you can check more in our guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Hope this will help you!
Hi,
Does the Visual composer work for editing post content or just pages?
If it’s just pages, how can I show the latest pages in one of those flex grid things on the homepage?
When I activate WPBakery it’s asking me for a license, is this not included with the theme?
Thanks,
Dan
Is there any way i can change codes for flex Blocks or its settings?
Hi Avinash,
This is quite hard, because the style from post content is not recognize in nodules, these are using a different style, for example the flex blocks can be edited using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/cEKtJl4.png
Thank you!
Thank you for your reply. The problem with flex block is that it uses “H” styling for post titles, which adds bunch of html headers where they are not supposed to be and breaks post heading structure. Heading should be used for major paragraphs with keywords not for “Comments”, block titles etc. This dilutes page keyword relevancy.
This is a sitewide problem with this theme, would be great to have opportunity to select some other html tag for title in block elements at least.
Hi,
unfortunately for the moment this can be done only if you hide the content per devices, but this is not a good practice because the page content will be very large.
There will be soon a theme update that will bring some improvements for mobile devices, I think that the mobile version should be more flexible after this theme update.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
That block was removed from tagDiv Composer, but it can be get from old single post templates, but there is a better option, you can use a flex block, stile it how you like and s\filter it as related by category/tag -> https://i.imgur.com/lOKVX89.png
Tank you for your understanding!
The mobile theme plugin is too inflexible for my content because it is – at its core – date based but my site is not.
So, I was talking about the switch in TD composer, where I can set different content for various screen sizes.
Hi,
Please make sure that you are using a good host with a strong server -> also make sure that all theme requirements are set as in our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
