The classy demo uses a cloud template for the posts, you can change it to a different template if you want to.
With the introduction of the cloud library plugin, now post templates and many other templates can be created with the tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
There are templates designed by us which can be imported
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
Also there are blank templates which can be used to create a template from scratch. Using cloud templates is not mandatory, the default post templates are still available.
You can install the demo with no content, this way only the theme panel settings will be imported. This demo has an additional stylesheet but it is minimal indeed
– http://prntscr.com/mghck5
Most of it’s design is made in the composer directly with the available settings. Flex blocks were used mostly and these have a great deal of options and settings. We tried to keep the design similar to the erotic demo but there were some changes.
The class td-erotic is no more, it is now td-classy. This was one of the reasons the erotic demo has been modified.
You can remove the body class if it remained in the theme pane, it has no purpose anymore. Unless you used it in custom CSS code.
If you need help with anything else let me know.
I don’t want to update these but add new as well.
Most grids on flex need an image around 300, others 400px wide (no height limits)
Loading an 696px image wide brings a lot of unused bandwidth and slows down page.
So can you guide me on how to add more image sizes on image_size param?
Hi,
The flex block modules use one of these thumbnails – http://prntscr.com/mgg7ui
If you modify the thumbnail sizes in the code, it will affect all the instances where that thumb is used on the whole website.
Maybe you can do what is needed using the flex block settings for the image. What exactly do you want to do?
Thanks
Hi, team tagDiv.
I want to know about two things here.
1) I created a page with TD composer using Flexbox-1 to create a lates posts section but I couldn’t find any option to add numbered pagination.
2) Once I am done, how can I save this template? The changes made through the theme panel can be saved from the export option. But, how a template created from TD composer can be saved?
Great day 🙂
Hi,
For the best results each header style has a recommended logo size which should be used
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/
As a side note there will be a header builder introduced in the coming theme update, this will add a great deal of flexibility to the header section.
Thanks
I have a problem with server scaled images, specifically the thumbnails of the author of post in the Flex block 1 blocks on entry pages.
OK. Thanks.
I’ve managed to get pretty much what I wanted out of Flexbox 4.
However, the excerpt only appears under the two main images and not the smaller images below. Is there a way to get the excerpt to appear with all the posts?
Hello.
I am trying to update the available image sizes on Flex Block 1 (Layout > Article Image > Image size)
I have tried with api function update_key, but i’ve failed, so I had to modify td_config.php file
Can you help me on how can I pass my own parameters on that selectbox?
Hi,
Flex blocks will be the ones to use in this layout, predefined blocks can be placed there but they may not look good.
Widget sidebars can be created from a few places – https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately this is the only way to add a new Block and Module, if you want you can try the flex blocks, those have more settings, but I not for sure that you will can achieve what you need, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
hi there, my web site works fine apart from i cant use any flex grids. the images do not render. i have turn lazy loader off.

How ever the flex grids work on my staging site.

Hi,
So i’ve created this page http://www.motherhoodincorporated.ca/westislandblog/kims-test-2/ and think i’m understanding. the only type of content that will work well in that middle area would be any of the flex blocks, correct?
ALso i can’t see a way to add more sidebars, i see a few that seem to have come when i installed the demo, but i can’t seem to add more. Where do i do that?
Is there a way I can make my “About” page, for example, have the same look as Posts? That is, it would help if I could just have a featured image, sidebar, and the standard editing space where I can just add body text, Heading tags, add media, etc., without using Page Builder. Unless there is some kind of block in Page Builder that will let me just put in all the content as if I were editing in the regular WordPress page editor? One of my main problems is that I want to have the default .td-post-content body text. Most of the blocks I’ve found in the TD Page Builder seem to default to different body text styling…and I can’t find anything as flexible for editing a long page of content with multiple chunks of text, headings, graphics, and links. Thanks!
Hi,
If you are using flex you can get this setting in Layout -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ZCNJf9hxgf
or general setting in Newspaper>theme panel>Translations > https://www.screencast.com/t/zNaxwbiNx1 this one will apply to all buttons
Thanks.
Hi,
@ndsonpto Are you stretching the rows containing the blocks? Loss of quality will happen in this case, a small thumbnails when stretched will degrade as you say.
For wider results use flex blocks or flex grids where a bigger thumbnail can be selected. You can check some block examples in various widths with the links to the cloud library from above.
If the problem is different please post a link to the website where the issue is happening so I can take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
A somewhat similar layout could be possible with a flex block, something like this one with added borders – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Blocks/454
However sharing options for posts directly in the module aren’t available currently. Maybe this will be possible in the future, can’t say what will happen.
Thanks
Hi,
The demo page content would not be suited for such a design, a new page will be better to begin with. Having a layout with left and right sidebar is possible with this row layout
– http://prntscr.com/mf4hj8
For wider results use the stretch row setting – http://prntscr.com/mf4hvq
In that layout the default blocks and grids may not display properly, they should be used only in these situations – http://prntscr.com/mf4ihj
However flex blocks and flex grids can be used as they are much more flexible. For example all the designs from here – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks are made with flex blocks (you can preview and even edit them). They can be imported through teh cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately the Big Grid 1 do not have that option , but you can use Big Grid Flex 2, the flex blocks have more customization -> https://www.screencast.com/t/zEwHt95M7MiO -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Bz0KlFZ2cN
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi,
That is now available for all flex grids, but not for flex blocks. maybe it will be added for them as well in the future, can’t say for sure what will happen.
Thanks
Hi,
That depends what element are you using, if those are flex then you can set them on all devices, if that are image/ blocks those do not have individual settings for each device and you’ll need to use custom css.
For some elements you need to add an extra class and set a custom css, but usually you can do all that using the tagDiv Composer
Thank you.
Hi,
I saw that the functionality I was asking for on Flex Block 2 was implemented in Big Grid Flex 7 (General module overlay hover color). Great! Will it be extended to the other “Flex” elements in the future?
Thank you
Hello,
The Flex Blocks appears only in our TD Composer.
Thanks.
Where do find flex blocks? The cloud library plugin, right?

Hi,
You could upload an image for example in this size – http://prntscr.com/me5n1d it will look good in the modules that use that size, but in other modules which there will be problems. That is why in order to allow more thumbnails to be produced a larger original image is needed.
The theme will crop the images center top, this was decided to be he best method overall for he thumbnails.
More flexible results can be achieved with flex blocks, these have an option to first choose a thumb size, then modify it’s width and height
– http://prntscr.com/me7300
These are block designs made by us based on flex blocks, you can preview and even edit them here
– https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
Each can be imported through the cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
Predefined blocks don’t have such settings. They will always looks as they were designed
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-12/
Modifying the thumbnail is not possible by a setting, each module has it’s thumb size created by the theme, Block 12 (module 11) uses this size – http://prntscr.com/me48f9
– http://prntscr.com/me492f
Only flex blocks available in the tagDiv composer have options to load a bigger thumbnail and modify it’s height and width – http://prntscr.com/me4bo6
For example these block examples are made with flex blocks, you can preview and even edit them here – https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Blocks
Each can be imported through the cloud library plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks
