Hello mixaverros88,
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further investigate it closer your setup page and also, so I try to install your theme again. Remove all of the untested plugins because this is the first step for WordPress debugging. Provide the FTP access for more deeper investigation.
Thanks.
Hi,
That is why it is always better to save the previous theme versions, only the latest theme version is available for download on themeforest. Or as it is recommended, make backups before updating in case something goes wrong
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Some users keep testing domains (clones of the live website for testing purposes), and install the update there. This is helpful to spot eventual problems.
However the previous two theme updates contained mostly fixes, there were no major changes or additions that would cause the website to be damaged. Could be caching or CDN that needs clearing after the update. Or it has not been updated properly, in general the FTP method is recommended.
If you want the previous theme version, contact us at contact@tagdiv.com and we will provide it to you by email.
Thanks
Hello Ant0ni0411,
Please update the theme again via FTP way to be sure that your install has been correctly made. Remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello gauravkhan,
Ensure that you have installed the latest version of it which is NP 8.7.4 via FTP way, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ enable the mbstring parameter to your dedicated server, remove all of untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Hope this help and let us know how it goes!
Thanks.
Hello,
Please update the theme to the latest version of it which is 8.7.4 via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks.
@ingenierojas If you use an older version of the Yoast SEO plugin, there was a setting that caused that error to appear
– https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
Check if that is the case. Also try deactivating all the plugins (including caching plugins), leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect.
Check the theme system status panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If needed ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources.
If there is still a problem with the composer even on newly created pages after trying these suggestions, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login as well as FTP and cPanel access if possible. Also include a link to this topic in the email.
Be sure to configure the system status requirements as specified in the guide. Additionally try deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this has any effect. Try the composer on a new page as well, could be an issue with specific pages only.
If there still are problems with the composer functionality we could take a look. Send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, as well as FTP and cPanel if possible. Please also include a link to this topic in the email.
I would suggest that you clear all caching, including browser cache. Then check if this has any effect. Additionally try deactivating all plugins except theme plugins and check again.
Also take a look at the theme system status, insufficient resources can cause issues

Hello,
I’ve had this problem on my main site for a couple of months now. I’ve come back to try working on it again but still can’t fix the problem.
(the problem is i only get the spinning gray wheel on TD composer edits
So far I have added these snippets to my .htaccess file
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header always append X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN
</IfModule>
My php memory limit is 256, i’ve cleared all cache’s since trying the fixes.
it is a fresh install via ftp, all fresh plugins, all up-to-date. No other plugins exist on the site other than default tagdiv ones.
I’m going to email you and grant access to see if you can help, thanks
I have had real problems getting the Newspaper theme onto my server and running. I used WP dashboard(appearance-themes- upload theme) and got the response ‘the link you followed is expired’ This happened once the upload reached 100%. I changed the PHP settings to allow larger files and longer to upload, but not luck. WP is fully updated and freshly installed on server.
I then tried using FTP Filezilla to import the theme. However i now have the error on the WP that says:
Newspaper Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.
i have tried importing both the Zip and the uncompressed into the Themes folder in WP on my server. WP recognizes that it is there but not usable!
Please can you let e know what i am doing wrong or send me a version that will work!
Many thanks

Hi guys,
I just got email from Themeforest about a new version. I want to upgrade but really scared of messing things up because it has taken me many weeks to get my site as perfect as I want.
How do I upgrade without messing up any aspect of what I already done? I haven’t done any changes to the core files, so nothing to worry about there. All the changes I did were done on the “theme panel”.
Will using FTP to upgrade RETAIN ALL PREVIOUS CHANGES I have done?
If not, how do I upgrade and still retain every single previous changes?
Please advise.
Many thanks.
Thank you, editing my .htacess file fixed the issue.
<IfModule mod_substitute.c>
SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M
</IfModule>
@Thephatvegan you would need FTP access to your ever in order to edit the file. It’s basically a text file that you can add the above code to.

I can’t work on the website and it is making me crazy! HELP ME PLEASE find a solution.
The developer told me that it needs some php codes and he doesn’t code with php… i don’t know what to do.
Hi,
@mchammy75 So you are editing pages that have been build with the tagDiv composer and make changes to them with the composer. Then you save these changes and they are not reflected in the actual page.
Please check the theme requirements, system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is imperative that the parameters mentioned in the guide are configured properly. Insufficient resources can cause many issues with the theme or the plugins, if needed ask your hosting provider to increase them as specified.
If there is still a problem, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login as well as FTP and cPanel access if possible. Mention the circumstances in which the issue happens. We will take a look. Also include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks

Hello Theresa Ream,
The latest version of the theme is Newsmag 4.3. So, the recommended way is to update the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case. You should simply download the latest version of the theme from your Theme Forest account and then install it according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/ Before each theme installing, we recommend doing a full backup to your database to avoid losing all of your data.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,
If the widgets are missing in the Widgets section of WordPress or the tagDiv composer, then the theme might not have updated properly. You could reinstall it by FTP if possible if that is the case
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
If the widgets are missing from the page builder you mention, I cannot say why that happens. That page builder is not tested with our theme, we recommend the usage of tagDiv composer as the main page builder at the moment, or alternatively WPBakery.
Thanks
Hi Sportguide,
