Hi,
Try to disable all of your untested plugins, leave jus to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. Should work as expected. Also, if the problem is still there, please try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest theme method in this case.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Roboman,

Hello boka003,
If I do not have your website URL notice that I cannot investigate it, sorry! If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way because this is the surest theme method, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
You can try
a) via FTP rename the plugins folder to kill all plugins to gain control
b) that ‘should’ allow you to login unless you damaged your dbase in some way
Otherwixse
c) go to a backup from before you tried importing something
always make backups via phpMyAdmin of dbase before doing any import/export of content to a dbase in case you break it, so that you can immediately roll back.
Hello gwalkerit,
First of all, make sure that you are using the latest theme version installed via FTP way because this is the surest theme method. I notice that you are using some untested plugins which might interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues. Try to disable all of them and leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files. Please keep in mind that the mobile responsiveness mode it was fully tested and should work as expected with our theme.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,
It seems you are installing both td-composer and js_composer. They are 2 very different plugins. The td_composer is the tagdiv composer and js-composer is visual composer by wpbakery
Please do not use both at the same time. Only install 1 or the other.
If the issue is still present please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and ftp access so we can login and investigate.
Thank you!
Unauthorized. No header.
I have tried to upload via FTP. Also tried to change permissions settings, as seen in picture below
Still no luck.
What other options are there to try? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
If I understand correctly the image was displayed vertically in the post page. I have not heard about this issue before, could not say what is causing it. I believe the image is originally like that, from what I can see this is the original image used
– https://i1.wp.com/jazko.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/DSC_0322.jpg
WordPress has an option to rotate the images after uploading them in the media library
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WbasznpouK5
Or you can process the images before you upload them, in a photo editing program for example.
Images should not change orientation once uploaded the intended way. I have not heard of this issue before, but every day is something new.
As I understand there are multiple options to implement that verification code. The easiest way would be to add the code as mentioned, in the theme header file. That will be sufficient. The file is located in the main theme folder, on the server you are using. They can be accessed by FTP
– https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/wordpress-theme-files/
– http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-to-wordpress-file-and-directory-structure/
Or you could simply use the default WordPress editor, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ET50xtubPbKo
Regarding the page issue, from what I can see it is not displaying correctly at the moment. Edit the page with the tagDiv composer and make sure all the elements are placed corrector. You could simply remove the block with issues and add it again.
The easiest way to implement additional sharing would be to use sharing plugins. The alternative is by code modification only and manual implementation. I could not say if or when more sharing options will be added in the theme by default.
Thanks
Hello,
It’s strange! Try to disable all of your untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, if you need more assistance, in this case, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can take a closer look at it.

Hi,
All there is to know about the steps you should take preparing for the update, and the actual update process through different methods is mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The FTP method is the most recommended in this matter.
The theme activation is a one time action, you don’t have to activate the theme again
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
The activation key will be stored in the database after the theme is activated.
The tagDiv composer plugin is a required plugin and will automatically be installed and activated when the theme is installed or updated (starting with version 8 of the theme)
Both tagDiv composer and Visual composer are provided in the theme package. If you want to use Visual composer for your pages, deactivate the tagDiv composer.
You do not have to activate Visual composer, simply disregard the messages
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
Worth mentioning that future theme updates will include more features and options for the tagDiv composer only. That should be taken into consideration.
Thanks
Hi,
It seems that no images and thumbnails are displayed on the website, and the functionality of the theme is broken in some elements. Please try to reinstall the theme by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Then deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, and clear all caching. Do not modify the theme files in any way.
Check these parameters in the theme system status and make sure they are set properly
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask you hosting provider to help you or change the values if needed.
The theme requirements are these
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
The theme is tested with PHP versions up to 7.1 that should be taken in consideration as well.
Thanks
Hi,
Only the latest version of the theme is available for download on themeforest. You should always use the latest theme package and WordPress, as it is constantly improved over the updates. If you use an older version of the theme, it is recommended to update it. Here is a guide presenting different update methods (by FTP is the surest method)
We could provide theme releases starting from version 7 if you absolutely require an older version. In that case please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and we will provide it to you.
Thanks

Hello 🙂
For customizing I need to edit index.php and header,footer.. etc php files. (copied to ftp child-theme folder)
Actually at my last work with bootstrap theme I had to make child theme and have very complex and uncomfortable situations..
I don’t know whether to work without child-theme or not.
If it has no problem then I’m willing to use and edit original theme files freely.
Is there any problem about child-theme(updates, etc..)?
Hello libertyforall9,
You should download again the latest version of the theme from Theme Forest because there you will find the latest theme packet. The theme installing should have to be done via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
@kurmeh Updating the theme should not cause any problems. All the steps required for different methods are described in the guide. The auto update method is not fully reliable unfortunately, sometimes it can fail to update the theme. Try the other methods instead.
As mentioned updating by FTP is the most recommended. Follow the steps as presented, and there will be no problem.
If there is a problem after the update, please provide details about it and a link to your website if needed and we will help you.
Thanks
I am facing the same issue. The UPDATE THEME option does not do anything. I am not keen to use FTP.
I tried to use the 3rd method (delete the theme and reactivate it) but it made the website look miserably.
Hi,
Unfortunately I do not understand what you mean. Please provide more details about the problems you are having, for a better understanding. The methods available regarding the theme update are mentioned in this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
The FTP method is the most recommended update method.
Thanks

Hello someint,
What kind of PHP version do you are using on your server? You should not use a PHP version bigger than 7.1 and also, for more information about server configuration, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ Also, after all of these has been right completed, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and use only the required plugins which come bundled with the theme packet and check the results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, try to disable all of them, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
