Please ensure that you have fully updated your theme to the latest version of it (Newspaper 7.0.1). Also, please ensure that you have updated and your plugins ->Visual Composer must have 4.11.2 version, Social Counter 4.0 version. Try to clear all your caches and test it again. Very important is to update these only through FTP because it is the surest method for updating.

If you use version 3.8.4 then the update process is more ‘complicated’ as the update script will only work from newspaper 4. We have not tested the script from an older version than version 4. The best thing to do its simply delete your theme, install the new version fresh via ftp and then run the update script. If the script will not run, then the elements on your site that do not render due to the old shortcodes will have to be replaced with the current elements.

Please try to do a fresh install for your side, clear your old version and install again the latest version of the theme only via FTP and ensure that you have fully updated the entire theme, without any errors. Also, please updated again all your plugins, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using CDN and test it again. I have checked on my side and everything seems to work as properly. Please notice that the problem is on your side and not come from the theme.

Recomandarea noastra pentru actualizarea temei este metoda 1, adica prin FTP deoarece este cea mai sigura cale prin care se poate actualiza tema. Zic acest lucru deoarece daca se face actualizarea prin alte metode, pot aparea probleme la instalare si este posibilitatea ca tema sa nu fie complet instalata si sa nu functioneze corespunzator. Te rog sa te asiguri ca ai ultima versiune de tema (Newspaper 7.0.1) deoarece in acest ultim update a fost rezolvata si problema cu related articles. Pentru mai multe informatii despre imbunatatirile temei pentru fiecare update in parte, te rog sa consulti acest link, mai spre sfarsitul paginii la sectiunea CHANGELOG, aici -> http://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 Deasemenea, asigurate ca ai golit toata memoria cache si testeaza din nou si verifica rezultatele.

So, first of all, please try to do a full backup to your data, according to this documentation here -> https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups to rule out the way can loose all your data from your database and then try to update your theme VIA FTP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ because this is the surest method in this case. In the next step, you will have to disable ALL your plugins and leave just Visual Composer to active -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ (for Newspaper 7 -> Visual Composer 4.11.2), clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using CDN and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that all your panel settings were loaded in the MySQL database and you will not lose these settings. Also, if you have others customization through code, please notice that the latest update will overwrite these files and you will lose these customizations. So, if will have the backup, then you will have to re-add all your customizations for the latest update until you will achieve as you wish. Please check our change log here -> http://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609 (check the bottom of the page) and there you will find what kind of modifications were made in our new update.

Suspectez aceasta problema temporara de care vorbesti ca fiind generata poatede plugin-urile tale care nu sunt testate cu tema noastra. Incearca sa dezactivezi toate plugin-urile active, cu exceptia Visual Composer, curata toata memoria cache si instaleaza numai plugin-urile care vin la pachet cu tema pentru a evita orice conflict ce poate aparea intre acestea si tema ce pot genera diverse probleme necunoscute. Daca problema ta inca persista dupa acest sfat, da-mi te rog URL-ul site-ului tau pentru a putea inspecta sa vedem unde este problema.
Daca doresti sa iti actualizezi tema la noua versiune, te rog sa observi ca tu trebuie sa o faci prin FTP deoarece este cea mai sigura metoda in aceasta privinta. The mega-menu option does not require any plugin nor screen options. it should be there by default. Please deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. If this does not fix it, please try to activate the main theme if you use a child theme. Or maybe the theme installation was faulty, then you need to do a fresh install via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

If you quit definitively the speed booster, please notice that you have to remove this plugin only via FTP from your wp-admin section or if you want to disable, you have to change the folder name of this plugin td-speed-booster.php -> you should rename it and the plugin will be disabled.

If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme and see if the problem is still there. If it;s the child theme causing it, it will have to be re-created. If you do not use a child theme, please try a fresh install via ftp as the update process might have gone wrong: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Also try it without any plugins as a plugin conflict can also create such issues.

First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of Visual Composer (v.4.11.2) (we recommend to do the update only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard). Also, as I can see in your screenshot, I suppose that you want to use the Grid Builder from Visual Composer. Please notice that with this element you only create your own Grid Builder and there you will not select our Big Grid.
