Ok I have set an email to support with the info you requested.
here is abridged version of email:

Hello TagDiv Support
As per exchange of support messages with Bettina, I have set you up as a user so you can try and fix the terribly frustrating problems I am having setting up my ipad horizontal and vertical front page on https://onlineinvestmentconference.com . It is obvious I must be really missing something about how to use your theme because I have just added an additional image link and now somehow the front page sliders have duplicated themselves above and below the ipad image. And while on desktop the image is above the slider as it should be, on iphone the image has gone below the slider and I have no idea why.
On other themes you can duplicate elements and have them selectively display on desktop/tablet and phone. I don’t see that capability on your theme. Does it exist somewhere?
(Login info for WP in email)
We don’t use cpanel. We manage our own server. If we need to adjust anything we go through our OVH server panel or filezilla ftp. But I don’t think this a server related issue. Its something to do with your theme and how I’ve set it up.
I have attached some screen shot samples from my ipad as a zip file.
If you need any more information, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Peter Norman
Hello!
You can install the theme via FTP or WordPress. Check the guides:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
If you mean anything else, then please provide more information about your issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
What I can suggest is first to make a full backup for your website and database and after that to update the theme (also, you can try first on staging or subdomain).
The theme should be updated via FTP, by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case that there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost.
After the theme is installed, please install the theme plugins: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Standard Pack and the rest of the theme plugins that you had before the theme update (social counter, newsletter).
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello,
You are probably uploading the whole theme package. You have to upload only the theme zip file, not the whole package which contains other items
– https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821510-Theme-is-missing-the-style-css-stylesheet-error
Install via WordPress -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-wordpress/
Install via FTP -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Requirements for Newspaper => https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
After installing the theme and activating it you will find in the Prebuilt websites all the theme demos and you can import whatever demo you want => https://www.screencast.com/t/6rf5g0Dxc0K
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you are installing the actual theme, not the whole package
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/whats-included/
So if you download the full theme package, once it is extracted the theme zip can be seen, like in this example
– https://i.imgur.com/MTmQrYE.png
These are the theme install guides you can follow
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Hi vawn,
Indeed there are some big difference between Newspaper v9.6 and the last one 11.4.2, but the best way to do the update will be directly, indeed there can be problems but will need to be resolved only once, if you make the updated for each versions, in part, then you need to resolve the problems in each update.
What I can suggest is first to make a full backup for your website and database and after that to update the theme (also, you can try first on staging or subdomain).
The theme should be updated via FTP, by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case that there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost.

Please check if you have an object cache file stored on your server.
We have a guide on how to check the Object Cache if is applied on Backend -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
If the problem is not solved after this, we can take a look at this and investigate why is not working for you. Contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
–wp-admin URL/ cPanel/FTP and credentials
– a link to this topic to identify you
Thank you!

Hi,
If your license is valid, then you can update the theme via FTP / cPanel, connect on your themeforest account and download the theme package from there.
How to Update the Newspaper Theme
Please note that the update will look like a different theme (due to the very large version difference). Also please make sure that after you update the theme you’ll update the theme plugin from Newspaper > plugins. You’ll need to install tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Standard pack.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please try to do the update manually via FTP/cPanel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost. Also, please do a full backup of all files and databases before updating.
Also, please try to update the theme without extra plugins activated during the installation, as this may interfere with the installation process.
Also, after the update please make the tagDiv plugins are installed, like tagDiv Standard Pack, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social Counter, etc.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Email support will be harder than this; especially with no transparency, and even less 2-way communication.
My problem remains:
1. Uploading via FTP and Importing via Plugin; still resize gif image in a newspaper.
2. How can I stop the newspaper to show the resized version of the gif? (I want it to pick the .png resized version; not gif.)
Hello,
To have the automatic updates option, you had to have version 10.3.1 and from version 10.3.2 you could use this option -> https://tagdiv.com/introduction-to-newspaper-theme-automatic-updates/

Hi dizajn, if the files are from scratch fresh install, then I think that something is interfering, because those post title should be full display like in my screenshot.
Yes, that will work, just make sure that after the theme update you also update the theme plugins (you’ll need to install tagDiv Standard Pack to use the old templates).
The theme should be updated via FTP, by replacing the old theme with the new one (replace not overwrite), in case that there are custom changes in the theme files, those will be lost. Hi Calin,
I did these things:
flushed the CDN’s cache
flushed the EWWW’s cache
cleared the Cloudflare’s cache
cleared the OP cache
cleared the WP Rocket’s cache
cleared the browser cache
deleted the cache folder with FTP
Then I’ve disabled the CDN, then plugins WP Rocket and EWWW but with no success.
Do you have any idea?
Thank you and best regards,
Luke

Hello,
My global post template has social share buttons on the top and bottom of the page. However, the element on the top does not look the same as the bottom and I cannot figure out why. The bottom element is correct. I actually duplicated that element and dragged it to the top of the post content, but you can see the colors changed.
Here is the link to an article on the dev site as an example.
Hi
How can I delete Newspaper theme completely? I need to reinstall theme with a fresh start. I have tried deleting (via WordPress and FTP) and installing theme many time but some settings or files from the old installation are automatically saved in the new installation.
Kindly help me with this. Thank You
Hi,
Unfortunately, we can provide support only here on forum and via email and only between the support hours.
If there is a problem you can provide a short description and some screenshots about it, or a screen record with the problem. Also, if you contact us via email you can also include wp-admin access so we can connect on the website and check the problem.
As far as I know, there is no bug related the gif and the static thumbs.
I see that you still using standard templates, those are limited and have only a few options. You need to get a single post template from the cloud -> https://i.imgur.com/bhxNbiA.png edit it with tagDiv Composer.
ftp upload doesn’t show up in wordpress media, for this you can try this guide https://www.wpkube.com/bulk-upload-files-wordpress-via-ftp-methods/ it should help you!
Thank you!

Hi,
This is because there wee created thumbs for the gif that is not working and the theme is no longer use the original file and it is using the thumbs.
What you can do is to upload the gif in WordPress folder using ftp and not the media from WordPress so the thumbs will no longer be created, or better you can choose the full size thumb for the blocks and featured images, this can be done using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/t222Nc2.png -> https://i.imgur.com/OXcGXQt.png -> https://i.imgur.com/kR3aNW5.jpg
I hope this will help you!

Hello @KasperMeisterhaft!
It shouldn’t cause any trouble. I recommend you to try this method for the theme installation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Make sure that all the requirements are done as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If the problem persists, then the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, we recommend first to deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it and see the results.
Thank you!
