Hi,

Is that happening only on the homepage? In that case it means there could be something in the page content that causes it. But if its happening on any page, even a new page, there must be something more general. We will have to investigate it and try to find the cause. Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login for the website. We will check as soon as possible.

Thank you!

Hello!

If you install the header, it should appear as you want it to. Please let me know how it looks in your case and how you want to display it on the homepage so that I can help you efficiently.

A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.

Thank you!

I installed the Newspaper theme and uploaded the Corona template as an example. On the homepage, in the blocks section, I noticed that even though I select certain categories, different category names appear instead of the ones I chose. Also, newly added posts aren’t appearing in the selected sections. What could be the reason for this?

Hello!

Which header did you use before? After installing the Homepage—The Rimont, the Rimont header won’t appear.

Thank you!

Hello, and thank you for your reply!
But the sidebar in question is within the articles.
So we cannot adjust the translation from the blocks, as we do on the homepage, for example. It’s the sidebar to the right of the articles.

Thank you!

Hello!

You can change the limit of the block: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
About pages here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Check out this video about how to create a website from scratch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/

How to create a single post without a sidebar? You can import one, for example, Single Post Template – InsightAI, Single Post Template – Chained News PRO, etc. Or you can edit a PRO one with the tagDiv Composer, https://app.screencast.com/C5MB4Tem01Gb3, delete the element from the sidebar which can be found after the post content.
WpBackery is deprecated and no longer used. I recommend using only one builder at a time. Try to delete the empty columns. You could try to delete it like this: select the row, press the button delete from your keyboard, then with your mouse select “YES”.
Also you have another option too, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/pxuOzYIIpcG

Thank you!

Use GTMetrix.com to test your page (homepage, plus about page), then look at the recommendations they provide. Large portion of optimization is done on the site itself, not the theme.
(I don’t work here.)

Hello,

Please check the tab style and clear the color for SVG https://i.imgur.com/xrKbHCf.png
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

Thank you!

I have been using v12.3 Compromise because all other latest versions crashed the website I am managing a VPN of 16GB RAM 4Core CPU. Every time I update to the latest version, within a second MySQL memory usage surges to 100% of the CPU usage. Virtually making the website not accessible

The only version that works well is v12.3 with our over 250k posts, other versions crash the site.
New the v12.3 download from (https://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Newspaper-12-3.zip) all needed plugins downloaded from the cloud, seem to have been compromised.

Problem: I woke up the morning to figure out that a javascript in been injected into the page causing a pop and redirecting to another site.

I have tried to update to a recent version but the website could barely load.
I have deactivated all plugins and themes, uploaded new theme files, and allowed the CDN to download of new plugins from the CDN. When I tested the homepage, the Pop problem came back.

How do we fix this,

If you want to check, I could give you login access

Hello, thank you for the answer.
Actually my question was to find out if the counter is incremented only when an article is actually opened (“sinlge post template”) or also when the preview of the article (image and title only) appears on the homepage or in some side bar for example.
Thanks

A couple of weeks ago, I started having an issue with the display of posts in the categories menu of the site fiestascostumbristas.cl.

For example, the post https://www.fiestascostumbristas.cl/2024/11/04/fiesta-del-agro-ancud-2024/ is in the “Los Lagos” category. It appears on the homepage but not in the corresponding menu: https://www.fiestascostumbristas.cl/region-de-los-lagos/

The same happens in the ‘Los Rios’ category, where it only displays 1 post, even though the category has 6

The same happens with all the latest posts. I have reviewed the theme settings and the cache, and Rank Math.

Do you have any idea what the issue could be?

Hi

I have a last 5 article section on top on my homepage and then down i have a number of sections. The problem is that sometimes the articles appear twice or even three times at the home: for example in the las 5 articles, in the category section and in the most read articles.

Is there a way to filter so if they appear in the last 5 articles top section won’t be displayed anywhere else in the page?

You can have a look at my page: https://elmejorblogdeviajes.com/

Our site: https://shorturl.at/Fz3P6

Using Newspaper theme with tagdiv Cloud Library and tagdiv Composer enabled. We have customized the design of the site’s homepage, single post, pages, category, footer, header etc using cloud templates.

When we make these changes, they look great and can be seen by logged in users. However, non-logged in users cannot see the changes to the site.

We are using Cloudflare and Jetpack with our site. Manually purged the cache many times, tested on multiple devices, nothing seems to help. This is an ongoing issue that has been happening for weeks.

Please help – willing to pay for a quick resolution!

Hi,

I’m trying to publish an article to the feature section but it’s not showing.

Thx

Unfortunately, does not seem that it has to do with the cache. The same page that has been built with TagDiv, once published, cannot be edited because “The current content page hasn’t been created with TagDiv composer”. As a result, I cannot edit the homepage, as it does not load at all. Just show this message and stuck in loading.

Hello! Have, since a couple of years, created the website thisispiraeus.gr using the Newspaper theme.

Believe that have done it using the WPBakery.

For the past 2-3 years, the homepage did have sereral issues, including code breaks, issues in the update etc.

And have made a major re-build of the homepage using TagDiv.

It seems that this is not working with Newspaper, as even though I ve tried multiple times, when I create the new page and set it as homepage 1) it does not renew. Meaning that homepage still showing the previous one 2) shows a message “The current content page hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer!” and stays loading for ages.

Can you please help me in order to be able to finalise the renewing I am doing?

The Unique Article feature automatically removes all duplicate posts on the homepage. But how can I also display duplicate posts on a specific block or module by disabling this feature?

Hello,

1. The screenshot is not working.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.
2. When the mobile theme plugin is used, you need to set for pages the page content in the mobile editor using only the options from that editor – https://i.imgur.com/p8EqE1b.png. also, there is an option to disable the mobile theme from a page/post – https://i.imgur.com/d3kTBRf.png. This option appears in the Gutenberg editor. After you disable the mobile theme on the page, you can use the responsive version.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Since this morning, whenever I add a new post, the homepage displays a 403 error. The other pages and the post itself are displayed correctly.
Only the homepage shows the error.
The website has been online without any issues for weeks and I haven’t added any new plugins or anything else.
If I switch to another template the problem disappears.

Hello

Would like to know how to prevent posts to appear in different posts modules.

For example, imagine if posts have 2 tags (featured-1,featured-2), homepage would have a 4-post module filtered by posts with “featured-1” tag, the second module would filter by “featured-2”.

Standard behaviour would be that since the first 4 posts share both tags, both modules will show the same posts, my goal is to continue showing the next posts. Adding an offset would not work since the number of posts on each module will change.

Is it possible?

Thanks!

Hi,

Please let me know where you added the favicon.
You can to add the favicon, in Theme Panel -> Header -> Logo and Favicon => https://www.screencast.com/t/H4ucPC2wwz
Also, on the homepage there’s an option Customize icon => https://www.screencast.com/t/I2uVvP4b -> Site identity -> Site icon -> Change image -> publish => https://www.screencast.com/t/lY9WEOZEj also, here https://i.imgur.com/s3kT6q8.png

Hello,

I have configured my site with newspaper theme and configured menus and everything was working ok. The other day I have enabled WPML plugin to have multilanguage support. Now I wanted to edit something in the header and I noticed that when editing the homepage with tagdiv composer the header looks strange and I can’t edit it anymore as I have this message:

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/2ws4nryc9znzelxu4cx1h/msedge_yEgxnwuBbQ.png?rlkey=ciiivhapryr1m3j3a7jtczhrn&dl=0

Can you advise why this has change and what can I do to revert or see the same header in the editor as on the page. The footer is also gone in edit mode.

Thanks
