ON SEARH ENGINE AND ON HOMEPAGE COME GOOGLE FONTS (Home>blog)
hOW CAN I DISABLE THAT PLEASE TELL ?
Hi. I’ve installed the Mobile Theme Plugin, but homepage mobile not shows the ‘predefined mobile’ page but just the same desktop page, like if no mobile plugin were installed. I’m using WP Super Cache following the instructions at https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/. I’m also using Cloudflare and MaxCDN and, yes, a few plugins.
Thanks.
Hello Simion, thanks for the hint. However I just want to have the homepage and do not want to import all the blog post, categories and so on. Any hint how to do this?
Hi,
You do not need to buy or activate the Visual composer plugin because the theme includes an activated license for it. It will be updated along with the theme and included in the plugins folder, also do not worry about Visual composer update warnings. Please follow these tutorials about using Visual composer editor to create a homepage and setting it as a static page – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/ or if you want to have a blog style where all your posts are displayed on the front page, you can change the template for the articles in Theme panel->Template settings->Blog and posts template – https://www.screencast.com/t/joEKmSMkkY0
Thanks
Hi,
You can create a page with all the elements you want in Visual composer editor and then set it as a static homepage. You can find more information about Visual composer here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/ and about creating and setting a static homepage here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Thanks
Hello
Which default template do I have to choose on a page to build the same homepage as the travel blog has:
http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_travel/
My site is http://cbn24.ca/
I can’t see anything in the homepage except latest post section.
Hi,
I am about to build my homepage. I wrote the first post and the whole post was displayed on the homepage. I don’t know how to change the settings without using Visual Composer. Cause all the tutoriols I saw are working with it. So is there a way to change my blog as I wish wothout it? And how to use different ways of displaying my posts on the homepage?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I’m trying to edit the homepage of my site ultimatehomelife.com – but when I go to the page I have set as my current homepage, click on “edit page”, click on the “+” sign of the Visual Composer, I no longer see the composition page with all the boxes I can move around.
And, if I try to create a new page and implement Visual Composer on that, whenever I try to click the “+” sign and use any of Add Element, Add Text Block, Add Template features, whatever I click on inside just prompts the “loading” sign to keep on loading forever, with nothing actually changing on the visual composer page itself.
Following your advice, we disabled all plugins and confirmed there was no child theme in use. I left Visual Composer active. I cleared my local browser cache (repeatedly). Then tested the login, and it did NOT work as expected.
When logging in, I noticed only the very first post, on the home page, had an edit button (in the upper-left corner of the first, big, featured image on the Homepage). When I clicked any other post, I observed no edit button displayed on any of them. When I tried to navigate to wp-admin, I was directed to the WordPress login page. It seems the login feature does not fully log a person in?
Question: Can we not include an inline, WordPress driven login, instead of the pop-up window? I’m not a developer, but in the WordPress Core login page code, I can see where it calls the appropriate script to actually log in. In the theme pop-up window, I can see design code (CSS, DIV tags, etc.) but not any reference to the actual login (to WordPress itself) function. I’m assuming it’s wrapped up in some Javascript, Ajax, jQuery, etc. somewhere? Maybe Ajax has an issue with postback (I don’t know)?
Hi there
that is the block I would like to install on my homepage
I’m also trying to figure out how to change the layout from a “blog” style to the categorised style as shown on that demo.
Thanks
Hello,
My site is nutrabela.com
My lgo appears fine on desktop but and the homepage of mobile. However, when I go to a single post page on mobile, the logo loads in error on both the header and footer.
I made sure I followed the dimensions as instructed for mobile logo upload in theme panel. Not sure what the problem is or if I’m missing a step.
Hello markangus,
I have checked your website and I did not saw any problems with your content on your Homepage. It seems to work as properly, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0AAut1Cl You have to update your theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello juliusuk,
For a better understanding on this effect -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/images-not-showing-correctly-on-homepage/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
What I think you have done is that you have added a Homepage post element in your page structure – https://www.screencast.com/t/gKu8vi3xyFjP and that is the way that element is supposed to look. You should publish your posts normally, and they will display in your latest posts section on the homepage ,where you can also filter them if you choose – https://www.screencast.com/t/WfTOY3Ict
Thanks
Hello,
Unfortunately it is not possible as the mobile theme will convert your homepage to a predefined one. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello,
There is a big difference between a blog roll and a static page. You are not using a static page on your homepage but raher the blog page that only provides a list of your latest posts. Please read this guide:
http://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/static-front-page/
A static page can be created and edited in the page builder (visual composer) while the blog can;t
Our theme provides settings for the blog page as well, so you can solve the issue in 2 ways. Either you create a static page in visual composer and add it as your homepage,
or you change the settings for your current blog homepage from the theme panel like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/oo23D826ie
Thank you!
Hi,
Add this code in Theme panel->Custom Css
.td_block_9 .td-module-meta-info {
display: none;
}

You can use any of the available widget elements from Visual composer on your homepage or in the sidebar, if you would provide more details I may be able to help you if you are having problems.
Thanks
Hello There,
Thanks for your help in advance. You guys are the best!
I have read a little about homepage layout in other posts but am still unsure how to do this.
Here is my site: f1grandstand.com
I don’t want a “food and recipes” sidebar section or “latest in fashion and would like to remove them altogether, rather than rename the categories.
And I’d like latest articles near the top, not at the bottom.
How can I make these changes?
Thanks again,
Mark
I would like to get something like this http://prnt.sc/e35tqh
And is there a way i can use widgets on the static homepage
Hello boos11,
I suppose that you do not understand very good how mobile theme works, right? So, please notice that this theme concept intend to display a Big Grid feature at the top of homepage which shows the posts which are included in Featured category, then will show a text which you added in Mobile Editor in Visual Composer from backend and at the very bottom of the page you will bring the Latest Articles module. Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme do not recognize the Visual Composer shortcode and that’s why you did not get the demo style for mobile theme. So, for more information about our mobile theme, please check the documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you are unhappy with this layout, and if you want to have the similar structure with our demo mobile, you will simply turn off the mobile plugin and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile mode.
Thanks for your understanding!
With the latest update the admin dashboard homepage is not accessible at all and gives the following error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_list_encodings() in /home/mywebsite/public_html/wp-includes/SimplePie/Misc.php on line 356
Turning off plugins does not fix the problem. The problem does not occur when I switch to other themes.
Have a look at this :

This is taken from this link .
I see this gap on all pages/posts. How can I remove this gap specifically from my homepage, about us page and the contact us page?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
You could hide the Big grid in your homepage with Css on smaller devices using this code, just enter it in Theme panel->Custom Css
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.home .td_block_big_grid_6 {
display: none;
}
}
Result – https://www.screencast.com/t/jbAONMxQVqsU
Please let me know if this works for you
Thanks
Hello Maui No Ka Oi Magazine,
I have checked your website and I noticed that you are using the Block 4 to display your blocks on the homepage, right? So, I noticed that you are not using the thumbs for your featured images and that’s why the theme will display you the images in the original size of them. You could turn on the thumbs for this type of Block from Theme panel, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/cQF6F2KZYk
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for your understanding!
