I have few long post and have inserted a page break between different points within them. Currently the navigation are appearing to be numbered with less visibility. I am looking to change this to a button clearly visible.
Any leads on the code change or plugin that might do this trick is highly appreciated. This is what I was trying – using the code below I was able to come with this (copy and paste to see what this would look like here Remove the apostrophe before the links. Yes it is possible to remove the date only from homepage, To do that replace the previous css with this one:
.home .td_block_4 .td-post-date, .home .td_block_4 .td-post-author-name span{
display: none;
}
To remove the date from slider use this css:
.home .td-theme-slider .td-post-date, .home .slide-meta-author .td-post-author-name span{
display: none;
}
The code it’s made for homepage but is you want to use it for all site just remove .home class.

On our homepage, we have block 4 and block 18 shown (among other). These two blocks have set the filter to show posts from let’s say Category X1 only. Block 4 is showing 2 posts, block 18 is showing 4 posts. In Category X1 there are 7 unique and different posts. Why are then some of the posts displayed twice on our homepage, and not 6 different posts out of the total 7?
Btw: the filter is set to sort posts by random.

Im having an issue with the new mobile plugin theme, for the newspaper 7 update, i have configured all the options in the theme panel but the homepage of my website specifically the first block is showing old stories and also ads that i serve from Google dfp are not showing could i have miss configured something.

The mobile theme displays on homepage three posts from Featured category then all other posts from the newest to oldest. There shouldn’t be any repetition so try to deactivate all plugins, clear all caches then test the site again.

I’m trying to add a custom ad zone for content ads like Taboola above the post title but below the header. So, on the following page it would be above the title of “Kid After. . .” and below the header with the logo. It would span the whole width of the page.

Is there any way to do that through the theme options to make it easy on me, or do I need to go into the code? If I need to go into the code, how exactly do I do that? I already have a child theme enabled and moved the single post template into it if needed, but wanted to see if there was a way to do it through the theme.
The homepage allows a lot of flexibility through the visual composer, but I can’t find a way to do it across all posts to the overall post template.

Hi there,
I recently imported post content from another site and noticed that content on the home page has been widened for some reason. Not sure if this caused the issue or not. Site: http://65c.c5d.myftpupload.com/
Its also causing the bottom feature articles in the big grid news posts not to work.

I didn’t modify the homepage at all, so something must have triggered it. I see the code in the homepage ‘page’ file, but am not sure if I should delete it. Do you know what could have happened or how I can fix it without just stripping the code out of the homepage ‘page’? Did I do something that triggered it?
ALSO, I enabled above the article ads and posted my code, but I don’t see any ads showing up. Do I need to do something within the theme to actually turn the ad zones on?

i created a homepage with lot of posts with masonry grid that shows the featured image masonry.
but it struggles to load, then i found it uses full sized featured image instead a thumbnail which may delays the loading..
i need to put a thumbnail instead the full image in masonry grid block.

On my site http://www.sportsdouchebags.com, at one point in the past I could edit homepage via Visual Composer and rename and choose what content displayed under what header. I would click on edit pencil icon and there was a drop down that would allow me to pick category, or most recent, most popular, etc.
Now, I cannot find that option anywhere I look. How can I change SDB Greatest Hits (which is currently displaying based on popularity) to another option? And edit the header text?

So, if you want this, please notice that you will have to add the background image using Visual Composer to the Row, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/pYGZFnPVA6eI and for your Related Articles section, please provide the certain URL so I can inspect it closer.

First things first: I’m so glad to have discovered Newspaper, it’s an incredible theme!
I’m putting the finishing touches on my site (www.glacierjournal.com) and the thumbnail images for block 18 are super-grainy on the homepage. I followed the steps here to fix the issue, but it didn’t help: https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
I’m still not sure I understand how to use the settings under ThemePanel => BlockSettings => ThumbsOnModules/Blocks.
I want the thumbnail for block 18 to be 1068 x 590. How/Where do I specify this?

Just bought/downloaded the theme and excited to start poking around, however having some trouble getting it installed correctly (did via FTP).
Getting the following error on my homepage right now:

We’d like to remove the author and date on the homepage only for Block 6. And also, remove the author and date from the Slide element.
For the individual posts, we’d like to have the author and date still displayed.
I searched the forum, but only saw an answer for the Newspaper theme. We’re running Newsmag.

I am using custom colors for my theme, on changing color in all options in theme panel. I am unable to change color for the following modules:
One can fix all the above issues by editing style.css but it will be cool and easy if you allow users to change it using the theme panel.

So, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
