hi,
when you view the site on you iPhone the them rearrange itself.
the slider changes, it will display one image, but you can use your finger to slide it to right or left, and you will see all the other images.

Homepage slider not display all post in responsive layout - topic

On my homepage I am using the Big slide set with a max of 4 posts and the page is set to have unique articles. When I view the homepage on my iPhone, it only displays the first post in the slider, and not the other 3 posts. If unique articles is enabled and the Big slide is set to latest, the other 3 posts are never visible. Only the very first post.

The other 3 posts in the Big slide disappear.

Is there any way around this other than to disable the unique articles feature?

I would like to hide the pagination at the bottom of the homepage. To be clear, I would like to hide the numbers shown in the example below: “1, 2, 3 … 9” I want to keep the “Next” button, but not the number of the pages:

1. I would like to use the “Style 1” title instead of the default title for the “homepage latest articles”:

I don’t have the option to chose “Title style” for the homepage latest articles”, although I have that option for widgets, blocks etc.

2. Is there a quick way to set the “Style 1” title as the default title style?

Hello, I don’t want to change the author, I want to completely remove the author for the homepage. Because we provide News and any author could not publish the homepage, i don’t want the homepage to have any author. Can you give me the code and tell me where to write it because i think that this is some problem with the theme, because any website’s homepage cannot contain author meta. Thanks, please give me the code and tell me where to write it.

use : is_home() function to check if you are on the homepage
something like this: 


if(!is_home()) {
 __your code here to display the author__
}

Hello, I’ve enabled the author’s meta tag in the theme but it is also showing on the homepage search. I am running a multi authored site and i don’t want any author to appear on the homepage search results. Please tell me how to remove author’s meta from the homepage so that google doesn’t show any author in the homepage search results.

Hi, I can not find the option to decide how many rows of the summary to show on the home page (eg 3/4/5 lines of text as text article in the demo), if in addition to the “…” you could insert a “read more” would be perfect:

Hi,
Is not posible, sorry for that.
What you can do is to use this template: Homepage – with article list and add the slider directly in code, something like here: http://screencast.com/t/wvDhzF7TZVBs

echo do_shortcode('[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][td_slide hide_title="hide_title" limit="5"][/vc_column][/vc_row]');

You add the shortcode of the slider there, but the slider doesn’t know on what column is and you need to fix the height via CSS

thanks for the answer. I disable ads, i only have 1 in the homepage, in w3 total cache i enable only Page Cache, i put your code in htaccess, and launch the pagespeed test. If i make a pagespeed test in others webs the screenshot of the mobile and desktop in pagespeed it’s ok, but in my site isn’t. I don’t know what’s the problem :S. Sometimes appears something, sometimes it’s empy, sometimes appears only the text of menu mobile (in mobile screen)

I know that I can do this with a full customized homepage BUT I lose the paginator when I do this and the paginator is very important to me.

Hi, I’m just switching to v3 from v2 finally, but in the earlier version you could just specify one of the default modules for those pages, which would have the excerpt.

E.g., module 8 or module 9

Hi,
For the menu you can use any image/icons you want instead of what you use for socials. To make something responsive with % is a little tricky.

Please disable unique articles feature, for you homepage is not necessary, because you don’t have other content blocks, is useful only for magazine style layouts with lot of blocks content.

Is possible using offset feature.

You have to set your homepage like:

Edit your homepage:

Big slider: to read latest post
Don’t Miss section(block 2) edit it, set it to latest post and set and offset of 4
