Hi,
1. I see that you have the ad box element and you chose the header section from the theme panel for your ads, make sure that you have the ad set there.
2. This situation appears because the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin (this will change the mobile layout version) is installed and activated and your cache plugin do cache the mobile version separate on desktop version. The most simple solution for this is to disable the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin and clear all cache.
Thank you!
TagDiv fixed this for me, although it did require a reinstallation of the Theme, which I wasn’t informed of beforehand. So do back up any customisations you’ve made before letting them go ahead.
Hi petar777,
Normally if nothing is interfering or limiting the theme, when this is updated using the theme system update should normally update the theme and after that the theme plugins, but there are quite few situations when the website is limited (most of the time do to security reasons, but sometimes can be some extra plugins that are interfering) then appears this situation.
We recommend that always before making a theme update to have a full backup and to check to see what theme plugins are installed, in case that only the theme is updated to manually install/update theme theme plugins from Newspaper > plugins (this will take only a few clicks)
Thank you!
Calin, I also wanted to ask something related to this. Sometimes when I update the theme it seems that the core plugins like the composer, social media counter etc get uninstalled and I have to install and activate them in order to fix this error.
Is this normal or?
If it isn’t normal – how can I troubleshoot why it happens?
Hi,
It looks like one of the theme plugins isn’t installed or activated. Please go to Newspaper > Plugins and install the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin.
Also, just a quick note for next time, try not to reply to the topic unless you have new information to add. Each reply moves the topic to the bottom of the queue, and we respond to messages in the order they were received, from oldest to newest. This helps us assist everyone as efficiently as possible.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
I can see only those https://tinyurl.com/2bwsgajb socials.
I am using the latest version of the theme 12.7.1 so the code in td_first_install.php is slightly different from that you have shared. I prefer to implement the solution on my own as I plan to purchase more licenses for new projects and I want to know how to fix it
if ( empty($social_drag_and_drop) && ( version_compare($td_db_version, '8.6', '<') || TD_DEPLOY_MODE == 'dev' ) ) {
td_options::update_array('td_social_drag_and_drop', array (
'facebook' => true,
'twitter' => true,
'pinterest' => true,
'whatsapp' => true,
'linkedin' => '',
'reddit' => '',
'mail' => '',
'print' => '',
'tumblr' => '',
'telegram' => '',
'stumbleupon' => '',
'vk' => '',
'digg' => '',
'line' => '',
'viber' => '',
'naver' => '',
'flipboard' => '',
'kakao' => '',
'gettr' => '',
'koo' => '',
'copy_url' => ''
));
$update_social_drag_and_drop_option = true;
}
I installed the demo of https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_insightai_pro
But mobile navigation is not working.
It is also not working here too >> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_insightai_pro
Hello,
Please let me know what you see in the social share section in the theme panel.
f you’re seeing only NAVER please make this adjustment in the tagDiv Composer plugin -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_first_install.php
=> https://www.screencast.com/t/yO3iU8E5JhH
Then hit a save in the theme panel and then revert the code back to the original, this will make the social icons appear properly again -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/.
If you don’t have success you can send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide
– wp-admin URL and credentials
– cPanel URL and credentials
We will fix the problem. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi,
Based on your screenshot, some of the theme plugins appear to be disabled. Please go to Newspaper > Plugins and make sure that tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library, and any other theme plugins you were using are installed and activated. This should resolve the issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, the templates settings are stored in the theme panel under the mentioned tabled.
Now in case that you created a template on one your website and you want to move it to another domain the most simple and efficient way will be to copy past the code from that template (like you copy a page or an article), just make sore that if you copy a code from a cloud header you set it in a cloud header, not in another type of cloud template.
Also, there is another solution that will migrate all cloud templates, this is the WordPress tool. Using the import/export option from the theme will allow you to import only the theme panel settings, the cloud templates go in tool > export – https://i.imgur.com/3Wxk885.png then to import you need to go in tool > import then install the wordpress importer and clink on run import – https://i.imgur.com/tyxoVvg.png
Thank you!
Hi,
In case that you want to change the pre-design template, then you can use this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-demos/ in case that you want only to import a new homepage, then you can do it from tagDiv Cloud Library – https://i.imgur.com/cRmOioc.png
Also, you can use tagDiv Composer to edit pages and cloud template.
Thank you!
Marcusdoc,
Thanks for the reply. I have been holding off on the 12.7.1 update as bugs often take time to work out with Tagdiv. I just installed 12.7.1, which updated composer. It appears Tagdiv fixed their vulnerability issue now.
Kevin
This is a simple question but I am apparently struggling to find an answer: is there an official way to backup out custom cloud themes?
My understanding is that they might be stored in the db under wp_options > td_011 and td_011_settings, is that correct?
What’s the recommended way to make sure I can safely import them on a fresh installation? It seems like they are not included in the theme settings, right?
Can you add a link to the change log from the Updates section of the installed Newspaper control panel?
Hi,
I just purchased the Newspaper theme, but after installing it, a pop-up keeps showing up saying the license is not assigned. Just for context, I had previously installed a nulled version of the theme — could that be causing this issue?
Hi, I have an old WP installation that I’d like to upgrade to 6.8.1 (latest), but I am worried there will be incompatibilities with NP 10.4.
And what PHP version should I be on? I assume 8.3 is too recent?
Do you have any input on this?
Hi,
I installed Nature Love prebuilt website and I am customizing it.
The problem is, I see a header that I cannot modify in any obvious way.
In the page interface it tells me this type of header is not editable and to use a cloud template.
However there is no “Cloud Template” for Nature Love.
How can I customize this header without using CSS hiding tricks?
Eg, The word Donate, maybe I’d like it to say Get Involved or Volunteer or something…?
Hi,
I believe you are using Newspaper, not Newsmag. Even if you reinstall the theme, this should not cause problems however. Neither should adding new pages on the website. Something else must have caused the problem.
If you or the hosting have a website backup from before the issue happened, I suggest restoring it. Most hosting providers make regular backups for the websites, please contact them and ask them if they can restore a recent backup from before the date the issue happened. That would be the best choice in this case, because the website looks like it was reset and has no content from what I see. Please contact them and ask them about the backup system they provide and if a backup can be restored.
Let me know if they can help.
Thank you!
I´ve latest version of WordPress (v6.8.1) and Newspaper (v12.7.1) theme.
I did disable, delete and reinstall tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library; and clear cache too but problem persist.
I need help please.
Hi,
In those case the first recommendation will be to make sure you are using the last theme version and WordPress version. If you already have the last version of the theme, please disable and delete tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Cloud Library, after that please go to Newspaper > plugins and reinstall those 2 plugins from there.
I hope this will help you!
Thank you
Hi,
If you have the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin installed and activated, then this is the one that will apply, what you can do is to use it only for amp – https://i.imgur.com/41XWouL.png (in case you are using the amp plugin), disable it on pages -> https://i.imgur.com/bYhragp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/l3oVbsa.png if you do not want it on specific pages only or disable the plugin – https://i.imgur.com/itHrBpI.png in case that you do not want it on your website.
Thank you!
Hi Vunt,
If you want to install a different demo, you can do so directly without manually uninstalling the Default Pro pre-built website. This should resolve the problem.
Alternatively, you can try disabling all plugins except the tagDiv plugins and then attempt to uninstall the Default Pro pre-built website again.
Thanks
Hello Support,
I am currently in the process of uninstalling the Default Pro theme on my website. Unfortunately, when I attempt to uninstall, I receive the following error message in a popup:
Ajax error. Cannot connect to server, it may be due to a misconfiguration on the server.
textStatus: error td_ajax_request_name: uninstall
errorThrown: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/faq-troubleshooting
Could you kindly assist me in resolving this issue and guide me on how to successfully uninstall the theme?
I look forward to your prompt assistance. Thank you.
Best regards,
Vunt
I don’t have WooCommerce installed, but I have the same issue. No matter whether I have AMP active and set up, or disabled, many of my pages are empty. When AMP is active, a “mobile content” box appears in the editing window for these pages, meaning that I’m supposed to manually add separate content for mobile and desktop. I don’t want that – I want my responsive site to be responsive no matter the device. How can I get page content visible on mobile?
The site is https://answersforelders.com. A good example of a page with missing content is https://answersforelders.com/chateau-retirement-communities, which loads perfectly well on desktop, but I only get the header and footer in mobile.
