Installed the new update. Was able to update plugins from within WordPress. However, now it takes up to 40 seconds for the Home Page to open.
I like how Newspaper organizes the material on my website, using the magazine template. But I am disgusted at all the hours & hours I’ve spent to customize it — for nothing.
As is, Newspaper is an unusable theme. And I can NOT say that I’m impressed with TagDiv support.
this a fresh install and the blank page has almost 8 seconds to full load!

I have Viper Cache installed its working fine
Why would the theme panel tell me there is no caching installed
I only have the complement of the template, nothing else .. in fact I bought another hosting in another provider and it comes out the same (it is a virgin server, pure, it is not a managed wordpress)

Severe problem with Newspaper Theme: extremely slow pages.
What I’ve tried:
— Cleared all caches, for site & browser.
— Disabled plugins.
— Theme plugins are up-to-date (required manual installation is disappointing).
— Changed the designated Home page. THAT works, but is unacceptable.
For a week I have struggled. My site actually went down for 2 hours, at one point. Finally, got it going yesterday. But needed to make some further changes in the TagDiv Composer, a few color changes and added links to image ads… and Newspaper broke again. This theme is too fragile.
Please see if you can fix it. I can send you a temporary password to a private email so you can access admin panel.

Dear developers,
the Instagram feed integrated above the footer has stopped working. There are no images displayed, only icons for missing images. When I inspect the source and try to open the image url in the source, I only get an error message from Instagram saying “URL signature expired”.
We have tried updating everything, disabled and re-enabled instagram in the theme panel, but no success. We have currently the Newspaper version 10.3.6.1 installed on our website.
How do I proceed to fix this?
I don’t know if it’s relevant, but the site is running with these security plugins: iThemes Security Pro and Shield Security Pro.

I have the politics/political demo installed. I customized it.
I have the Modern Events Calendar plugin. I thought a RAW HTML element would work with the plugin.
It is not showing the events. it shows the actual short code.
In the previous theme I used, I would just add a custom html widget with the MEC shortcode in it.
I also used the THE EVENTS CALENDAR plugin took. Same thing, Custom HTML WIDGET, shortcode.
Is there a “proper” element for the shortcode to work?

If you are using WordPress v5.5 or 5.5.1 make sure that you are using Newspaper v10.3.6.1
If the problem persists, please try the below steps:
1. Disable tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uzBdRB9.png
2. delete tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/xGGfYE7.png
3. Reinstall tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/Ay0zJHn.png or -> https://i.imgur.com/ZMgV9at.png
4. Clear all cache from your website, host and browser ( for browser use force refresh Ctrl Shift R ).
If the problem still persists, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins (theme plugins), also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also you can use the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper in some cases this can help you to make tagDiv Composer to work.

Just updating this, maybe helps troubleshoot the problem.
I have installed jQuery Migrate Helper, switched it on. Then TD Composer threw a Service Unavailable error (before installing jQuery Migrate Helper it opened but showed the loading wheel infinitely). I switched the plugin off. And lo and behold TD Composer now works!
I don’t know what is the reason behind this behaviour of the theme.

To activate the Newspaper theme:
Step 1 – Install and activate the required plugins
Step 2 – Go to the Dashboard area> Newspaper> Activate Theme.
Step 3 – Enter your Envato Purchase Code in the required area.
Step 4 – Press the Activate Theme button.

I’m currently facing an issue with the Google Tag Manager tracking snippet. Whenever I try to upload the snippet into the Analytics/JS Codes panel in the Theme Panel, I face an infinite loading icon. I tried to circumvent this by installing a Headers and Footers Injection plugin, but when I try to upload the snippets through there, it generates an Internal Server Error.
How can I resolve this?
