In one of the resources you’ve send me there was a reccomendation to install the plugin WP DB Manager (from the WordPress Plugin Repository) and run the “repair DB” option.

Don’t edit the demo posts, create your own posts. If in the future you decide to uninstall the demo or install a different one, the demo posts and pages will be removed

Create new pages or edit the homepage provided with the demo (note what is said above), and add what you want want from the available elements in the tagDiv composer, grids, blocks etc. These will display your posts, configure them as you want. Editing a page is possible from many places

Be sure to set featured images or videos for the posts so the theme can create thumbnails from them (these are the images that represent the post in blocks/grids)

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. I just bought this theme on Friday. I went to install in on my site tonight and am having trouble getting visual composer installed. I have been to: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-use-visual-composer/
Which is great, except I checked every folder and can not find the path to js_composer.zip. I only have td_composer! This is the path where I found the plugins i could find:

I’ve installed the Video News them for Newspaper and been experimenting with editing the front page. There’s a section at the bottom that shows the most recent posts and a sidebar which I can’t remove. The visual editor will not allow me to select it. Same for the footer.
Where/how do I edit these components?
Likely want to audit all installed plugins, and all fields in the theme in case you were hacked from out of date version of theme, plugins, jquery, WordPress, etc.
Also check your theme with console in chrome (F12); run ‘best practices’ checkup, look for ‘console errors’ also.

I’ve been looking to change over to this theme. However each time I do, it seems I run into another issue.
When I install a demo theme (without content) sometimes the images in my posts (created while using another theme) show, with others demo’s they do not.
When I try to use the cloud templates, for some templates they load in and are editable in the page editor – other times, they never load and the page editor seems to get caught in a loop and just spins. I was told to deactivate the mobile theme plugin to fix this. Problem is, I never had that plugin active.
I install a demo theme – such as “Blog fitness” to give myself a starting point, and it starts off well. Then I try to build out a sidebar and start by adding the tag div social counter widget and that causes some conflict that results in all the images in the content column not loading. I tested that around 4 times.
It’s a shame because the ease of the customizations of this theme and the choices by clicks, as well as the many other features, brought me to it. But, it just seems to be very buggy in unpredictable ways and various times.

I just purchased Newspaper and it will not install. I have advanced web development and design skills and I’m stumped by this problem. I go to add the new theme via upload and it begins uploading. It then times out with an HTTP ERROR 500. I have uploaded the theme directly using FileZilla, but then it WordPress tells me “The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”

i visited beebom.com they are also using newspaper theme but they changed Their mobile menu (https://prnt.sc/mduil0). i don’t know how they did that. i also want mobile menu like them on my website.

There was no need to reinstall the theme, all you had to do was to set back “canter, top” in td_config.php file.

OK, I just found the old file…damn, I uninstalled the theme and then re-installed everything…just to lose every configuration 🙁

If you have the mobile theme plugin all you need to do is to go in Plugins > Installed Plugins and click on deactivate -> https://www.screencast.com/t/rmMHVnAT
In mobile theme only the posts will appear in the mobile theme, the pages that you make for desktop you need to recreate them without composers/builders because it need to be a classic page, without blocks and shortcodes.
If there is still a problem please provide a link were I can take a closer look at this.

Hmm, I downloaded the file, changed it and re-uploaded it. Now, everything should be fine but after I installed the Regenerate Thumbnails and run it my images won’t load in the Media Library…and the featured image on the page looks the same, the cropping didn’t changed 🙁 I’ll try it again…

You mean the demo content when you install the demo with content? Start from the top for example, with the header. Set your own log and menu, configure the header with your own data. The homepage which is provided when the demo is installed with content can be edited with the tagDiv composer, each element in it can be customized

In order to use the Revolution Slider in posts/pages, notice that first of all, you need to create your slider from the plugin, and then, take the generated shortcode and place it inside your desired post page (switch to code editor).

That is a customization specific to the travel demo – http://prntscr.com/mdlhrb Some demos when installed will import an additional stylesheet containing various customizations for theme elements.
I could try and adapt it to the elements in your website, please post a link to the page where you want to do this modification. The solution will be more accurate this way. Or specify the type of block used so I can try it on my end.

In pages/templates you need to set the shortcode in column text

So in order to use the shortcode from you link you need to download that plugin and install it ->https://wordpress.org/plugins/geodirectory/ after you install the plugin you can set the shortoceds and those will appear in your content.

If you don’t use you can deactivate it and use WPBakery instead, there will be no problem. No point having two page builders active and loading at the same time.
As a note, when you will update the theme in the future, the tagDiv composer will automatically be installed and activated, so if that happens you will have to deactivate it again.

As title says – my site looks funky. I have code everywhere. I thought this might have just needed an update so I installed the envato plugin and updated Newspaper. Updated all my other plugins and wordpress itself. No luck 🙁
It seems to be any content I had placed in boxes/grids with the Composer. Images, buttons, embedded music etc.
