Overall my experience with TagDiv Composer etc was Very frustrating.
Why did you people built TagDiv Composer in the first place, what value does this adds to a theme that was running well enough on Visual composer.

First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, please make a full backup to your database and then, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and CPanel or FTP access so we can further investigate it closer to your setup page.

There are a few topics about this issue. The new update seems to create some problems with the text and raw HTML elements.
The fix should be in it’s final stages and the theme will be re-uploaded. I will let you know when you can download and re-install the theme.

That would be impossible, if the old theme is removed and the new newspaper 9 is uploaded, how would the old one still be active?
How are you updating the theme exactly? Use FTP (most reliable). If our guide is not enough, check some online tutorials

Learning to use FTP and access the theme files and WordPress files on their server is a necessity.
Of course you can also use the update by WordPress, that will work as well.

Sorry but our theme does not allow different logos for particular templates. It can only be done on a multi-site environment with multiple installs of WordPress and the theme.

For the moment it would be best to remain to 8.8.2 or below, there are some issues with the new update 9. These should be fixed today and the theme re-uploaded.
As for the patch updates, the patch from each version have to be installed. Skipping a patch will not work. So each patch is needed 8.8->8.8.1->8.8.2->9. One patch will contain modified files from the previous version, the next update will contain modified files from the previous and so on. Sorry for the unintended inconvenience.

There is an issue with some of the text elements and also raw HTML, I believe today the investigation will be concluded and the theme re-uploaded. I will let you know when the issue is fixed so you can re-download the theme package and install it.

FOllowed instructions and ended up with this error on theme page: all the TDplugins report similar such as:
“TD AMP – This plugin requires Newspaper v8.7.5 but the current installed version is Newspaper v7.7.”
I just downloaded from envato today.
UPDATE: I Just tried again. I activated a different theme, deleted the 8.8 theme, ran the update and it worked this time. – then all good after I updated the two outdated plugins.
That is single post template 24 of the tagdiv cloud library plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/. Import the template as per the guide (after installing the plugin). Then edit it as you want with td composer and save. The go to newspaper>theme panel>post settings>default post template (sitewide) and choose the post template you imported (in this case post template 24) then save your settings. You should see the template applied sitewide on posts.
(There was a ‘set default’ option in the cloud library section of the WP dashboard, but it seems to have disappeared with the new update. Maybe tagdiv team can clarify on this).
Every time I try to install from cloud templates I get a “One of the images failed to upload.” Message and it takes forever to try to install (20 minutes)

I had to roll back my restore to get it to work. Why would the update interfere with the home page design? How can I prevent this from happening in the future?

Hi folks, I’m a little bit stuck with a problem on website I will come up with and wanted to ask how to solve the problem.
The thing is, that I have a nice working newspaper theme website with the domain “examplesite.com”. Now I have got another domain “examplesite2.com”. “examplesite2.com” is forwarding to a page from “examplesite.com” (“examplesite.com/examplepage”) and now there comes the question.
I want to show the visitors a different websitelogo if they are visiting “examplesite2.com” or (“examplesite.com/examplepage”). Further on examplepage there will be posts. So I need the head and logo design from “examplesite2.com” for a single post as well as for the category view.
Is this possible?
I don’t want to install and maintain a new wordpress with another Newspaper theme to realize that, because it is just a little subcategory/subpage from the mainsite.

Now my page is updated up to V8.8 and the only patch I colud find is the last one 8.8.2_9.0 patch.
Do I have to install the 8.8.1 and 8.8.2 before than 9.0?
..or 9.0 would cover the two previous versions also?
If I need 8.8.1 and 8.8.2 installed ..where can I find them?

I use WPGLobus PlugIn in NewsPaper 8.8 Themes.
I had problems with the menu. In the MainManu, the drop-down windows does not appear to select the language to be displayed.
It appears in the other menus, like one in the topbar.
Is it a problem of installation or do I have to make changes to it?

I took a look and the gallery didnt look for as it did on your first screenshot, on 3 different browsers (desktop).
Disabled the said Plugin (WP Spamshield) and tested, still the same result (nothing changed on desktop, nothing working on mobile).
I deinstalled and deleted the whole Newspaper theme, child-theme and all plugins – downladed the newest version (9.0) from Themeforest.
I then tried the “Safe Option for jQuery” on my caching-plugin (WP-Rocket).
That got the gallery back working on mobile, but im still having the following problem:

Hi There-
I’m still having an issue activating the Instagram Footer & Widget as well as Weather Widget. When I turn on Instagram in the footer the entire bottom of the screen disappears. Same with the Weather Widget, when I add it, half the screen is gone. So I tried installing the theme on a sub domain and everything was working fine. So not sure whats going on with my site. I disabled all plugins and still having the same issue. Any idea?

Hi. I’m trying to use the TD composer but I get a Bad Gateway notice. Is it because I have a conflicting plug-in? My last developer installed a WPBakery page designer plug-in, but TD composer looks way easier. Help!
So you lost posts that you created? That would mean there are problems with the website database where posts are kept.
As I mentioned above, only imported posts by the demo will be removed when a demo is uninstalled. You own created posts will not be touched. Unless maybe you edited the dummy posts from the demo instead of creating new ones, if you did that then the posts are lost

Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. If you are using some untested plugins, you should disable all of them and leave just to active only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files.
