i downloaded Newspaper 8 latest update from themforest.
i seem, child theme folder located under code folder. After upload folder via cpanel it’s showing Newspaper 7 child theme.
is it okay on activating it. or Newspaper 8 child this available on another place.

You can keep using Visual composer, if that is your preference. Regarding the issue, something must have happened with the Visual compose editor. Please deactivate it and delete it, then install the plugin again from the theme package

Check the results after doing this. Additionally you can try as as test to deactivate all other non-theme plugins, see if this has any effect.

If you updated the theme, please do not forget to update the social counter too. Try to deactivate and delete the plugin, then install it again form the theme package.
If you cannot receive an access token within the social counter, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can take a look. Usually clearing the browser cache should work. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.

I have a blog running on default wordpress theme (30posts on it ) now i want to install one of news paper demo.
i tried without content , but cant figure out how to make it look exactly like a demo.
SO is there a solution , that i install it along with content and replace the content with mine content one by one
or someone can tell a solution . I am not techno and cant get it going even after reading documentation
i have installed it but it is version 5.2.1 but nowadays it is 5.4.1 version available.

Just finished the set up of the theme & wp. I installed Yoast, finished my first article but it seems that Yoast can’t give me the count of the # of words.
I receive the following mistake “an error as occured regarding the keywordDensity”
Any idea where it can come from ?
It’s a brand new website with no other plugin installed and no modification. Everything from scratch.

I am using SiteGround hosting for my wordpress.
They have their own caching system called SG Optimizer with static, dynamic and memcached.
I would like to know that shall I install w3 total chache plugin too or this enough for caching?
And what about memcached system? Do you recommend me to active that?

To be sure, we recommend you to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, disable all of the untested plugins if you are using something like this, clear all the caches and check the results. The theme will create thumbnails from the featured images you set for posts. If you have set a different featured image, then the thumbnails should be created from that one. If the old ones are still displayed, clear any caching installed and check again.
If there is still a problem please provide a link to this post, so we can inspect it.

You should be able to install any demo you want. Please provide more details about what exactly is happening.
Also check the theme system status and make modifications to the server and WordPress parameters mentioned in this guide, if necesarry

You could ask your hosting provider to make them for you, they might have a recommended method in this matter. These general parameters can influence the functionality of the theme and plugins.
After making the changes try installing a demo again. Let us know if there still is a problem.

Thanks for the ideas after a few hours of logfile checking i was figure out what has happened.
The problem was that when i uninstalled the Black version demo ( in my understanding after uninstall, it is going back to the original state so it also uninstalls both the tagDiv Social Counter and Composer plugins, and also deletes its directories.) But for a strange reason in the WP admin the tagDiv Social Counter remained installed, only its files and directories were deleted during the uninstall process. When i installed another demo only the Composer had to be installed again, the tagDiv Social Counter looked fine. And when I’ve tried to activate it, of course it was not able to find the necessary files, that is why it crashed.
Now I’ve deleted it in wp admin, and re-installed and it is working fine.

I always receive a notification that I cant install new demo each time I want to change to a demo I want but not working. Why is that?
you need to install the version included with the theme in the /allfiles zip > plugins

If the demo is uninstalled, this will affect the registration as well and reset the activation key. Simply activate the theme again, there should be no issue. Let us know if require help, or there is a problem.

The Social counter is a plugin created specially for the theme, it cannot be a matter of incompatibility between them.
Check the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary contact the hosting provider and they might do it for you

Please re-install the theme by FTP

Deactivate all other plugins except theme plugins (re-install theme plugins as well), do not modify anything in the theme files, or add custom code. Deactivate the child theme is you use one.
If there is still a problem please ask your hosting provider for the error logs possibly created, and explain the situation to them. They could be able to identify the exact cause.

Or in fact take the website off. That is not possible, you might have been hacked.
Please follow the suggestions from the topic and try to identify what exactly has caused the problem. There are detailed steps to take in case of malware or hacking, and clear the issue.
Then re-install WordPress, theme and theme plugins from the official theme package.
Contact your hosting provider as well and explain the situation, they could be able to help you as well if there is a server side problem.

So it seems that the re-activation is necessary after every demo install. If i install a new one it immediately requires to re-activate the theme. Is it normal? Soo maybe its not a bug its a feature?

Hello Sup team,
Since today morning when the tagDiv Social Counter plugin is active, it kills instantly the site and generates:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
After that I have to delete manually the theme directory and re-install it. I’ve tried 2 times to be sure and the site is going down immediately after i activate the plugin. Can u pls check it? Is there a common issue since the morning? Also if you need can u pls guide me where i can find usable logfiles for you?

The theme Full Big grids or Big grids will display posts sorted by the option you choose, in the grid filter tab
