Sandboxing (Experimental)
Try out a more flexible AMP by generating pages that use AMP components without requiring AMP validity! By selecting a sandboxing level, you are indicating the minimum degree of sanitization. For example, if you selected the loose level but have a page without any POST form and no custom scripts, it will still be served as valid AMP—the same as if you had selected the strict level.
Enable sandboxing experiment
Paired URL Structure
When using the Transitional or Reader template modes, your site is in a “Paired AMP” configuration. Your site’s canonical URLs are non-AMP, and the separate AMP versions of your pages have AMP-specific URLs. The structure of a paired AMP URL is not important, whether using a query parameter or path suffix. The use of a query parameter is the most compatible across various sites and it has the benefit of not resulting in a 404 if the AMP plugin is deactivated. Note: Changing the paired URL structure can cause AMP pages to temporarily disappear from search results until your site is re-indexed. If you’re migrating from another AMP plugin with a different paired URL structure, then you may want to change this setting. Otherwise we recommend leaving it as is. Learn more
There are one or more entities that are already using the “amp” URL slug. For this reason, you cannot currently use the path suffix or legacy reader paired URL structures. See below for the source of the slug conflict(s):
Tag: AMP (ID: 9265)
Query parameter: ?amp=1 (default)
Path suffix: /amp/ (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)
Legacy transitional: ?amp
Legacy reader: /amp/ & ?amp (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)

Enable Developer Tools
Enable AMP developer tools to surface validation errors when editing posts and viewing the site.
This is a per-user setting. It presumes you have some experience coding with HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. Once enabled you will have access to Validated URLs and Error Index in the admin menu, the Validate URL item in the admin bar, and the AMP Validation sidebar in the editor.
Use native HTML image tag
The native HTML can now be used instead of the AMP-specific <amp-img> tag. AMP no longer requires the latter because lazy-loading is now a feature of the Web platform. Using native images can further improve page performance, although not all AMP components have been updated to work with them (see example). If you have CSS that is specifically targeting <amp-img> tags, you will need to update them to target
instead (which can be done by default since such tags are automatically rewritten in CSS selectors when conversions are done).
Delete plugin data at uninstall
When you uninstall the plugin you have the choice of whether its data should also be deleted. Examples of plugin data include the settings, validated URLs, and transients used to store image dimensions and parsed stylesheets.

I need the logo to be permanently at the top of the post when I scroll.
I activated the “stiky menu” function and on mobile it works on Home but not on posts.
Hi,
How do I change the burger mobile menu background please?
I tried all the settings in the menu editor but none of them apply to this section.
I made a quick vid showing what I mean.
I want to remove the bitcoing background image and replace it with a solid colour

Thanks
Hello,
What you can do is use the function to make the mobile menu sticky and don’t use the row sticky -> https://i.imgur.com/CQHR0mz.png
Thank you!
Hi,
The menu seems you solve it https://i.imgur.com/tZgn4Gw.png also, if you want to have a mega menu please check this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
To change the font and colour for the mobile menu please go in Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/0CvSgXp9H to set a background image go in Theme Panel -> Background -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/uvDejzbX to change the font from Theme Fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/ANBQe7hQhJd
The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social/Apis -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/kKYIECB.png remove/edit them after your needs.
Thank you!
Hi,
For mobile live search, you can use the above element to do the design. The mobile live search doesn’t have those options like header search lives for design.
Thank you!
Hello,
The theme uses a header for the desktop and a header for mobile (when you are on the desktop, the one on the mobile is hidden, and when you are on mobile, the one on the desktop is hidden, it is not the same menu on the desktop that can be adjusted on the mobile).
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
So I tested the page speed and Siteground’s Optimization by excluding different components. I tested multiple pages for speed (posts with the Table of Contents; posts with galleries, etc)
The best result so far :
HomePage = 61 [mobile] / 79 [desktop]
Posts (average) = 62-64 [mobile] 89-91 [desktop]
Pages definitely load faster (1-1.3 seconds on desktop) & 4 seconds or more on mobile. >>> I am not using any mobile theme / AMP, so it could be because of that.
Nothing breaks if I exclude:
plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/assets/css/td_legacy_main.css
themes/Newspaper/style.css (not excluding this causes the Mega menu to not load and the Search bar on the header doesn’t expand).
Note: I had to exclude it from “CSS minification”, “CSS combination” both. It didn’t work if I excluded it from only the minification / combination.
Excluded from JS minification
/plugins/td-composer/css-live/assets/external/ace/ext-searchbox.js
wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js
/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.min.js
plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
I also used another plugin, recommend it too : WP Meteor .. it eliminates render-blocking Javascript. I found that it not only works on top of SG optimisation, it works standalone too, without any “exclusion” scripts. Yet to test what happens if we add exclusions to it and eliminate the use of SG’s plugin.
Will appreciate any inputs you / other users have.
Have a good day!
Hi
I have a problem with our mobile menu background.
We have defined it with an image from menu Theme Panel -> Background -> Mobile menu/mobile search
We also defined the transparency with Theme panel -> Theme colors -> Mobile menu -> Background Gradient
But i still have a total transparency
The mobile menu seems to be some sort of pop up, created by your Scuba template.
I also tried to edit the header template but i cant see anyhting related to mobile menu
Hi creativeopole,
I’m sorry that you can’t create the shop you want with our theme. For the moment on the shop side, our theme can only create shops similar to our demos: – https://i.imgur.com/2Q9ugSI.jpg if it’s an option on one of these demos you need, then it’s in the theme, if the demos don’t have the option you want, then it doesn’t exist in the theme.
1. The background image can be changed for the mobile menu from the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/yVwO7f0.png
2. The mobile menu elements can be adjusted using the settings from the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/JCUsXnG.png
Thank you!
Hello,
Please check the answer from this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/two-menus-in-mobile-mode/
Thank you!
Hello, how to solve the problem with the menu on mobile devices?
1. Changing the background of the image in the menu on the mobile device
2. Changing the navigation color after hovering over the inscription
The TagDiv Newspaper Temeplate does not support more than one mobile menus. You can have two on Desktop view. eg. like a top menu and a header menu but this is not possible in mobile (mainly because there is only one variale for menu on mobile [ header-menu-mobile ]. There needs to be header-menu-mobile_right & header-menu-mobile_left if the user chooses to have two menus)
Hi Anamaria,
You say I can’t use two menu but the desktop will show top menu and main nav menus. Why can’t I have two hamburger icons in mobile mode?
I cannot do it with Newspaper theme but I’ve downloaded a mobile menu plugin that allows me to have left menu and right menu. So it is possible.
https://cateringtrader.co.uk
I don’t want to use another plugin, tagdiv composer should be able to do this.
Also, The mobile menu close “X” is not visible.
The only way I were able to fix this issue was by installing a Pre-built website and deleting the Mobile template. It shouldn’t have to be this way. I’m now using Header Template – Italy Report PRO, but now I have a different issue. I can’t figure out how to make the header sticky. I don’t want it to show the second dropdown part of it showing the logo and the menu. If I make it sticky, I can’t find the row that would stand still, unless I delete the top row with the adbox. Also, if I make it sticky, then I go back to the original problem I always had and that is, the mobile part of the header will disappear, hence the reason I created a Mobile Template, and unfortunately that didn’t work either. I like this theme, but it seems to have some issues. Please show me what I’m doing wrong. The fix you gave me for the other issue didn’t work either. Thanks
Hi,
You can’t use two mobile menu elements in the same page, the settings are inherited
that is why I said if you want you can use modal popup -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/ You need to create a page where to add the menu with a list menu, set the page id in the modal popup, and check if the problem persists.
Thank you!
Please see attached screenshot
I installed a mobile menu plugin that works but I do not want to use or pay for another plugin. Why doesn’t the TagDiv one work. It allows me to add multiple menu to the nav bar so why doesn’t it display them correctly on mobile. Desktop works, just not in mobile mode.
Hi!
How to make the menu (modal popup) “sticky” in the mobile version? To make it move down along with the scrolling of the site.
Thank you!
Menu drop down – search bar not working – website updated showing wordpress or mobile page but not showing in frontend in dekstop its showing like old one same plss resovle my issue as soon as possible melodicnews.com
Hi, I sent a screenshot ( https://prnt.sc/U4b9dk8ybPDk ) that show what I want to acheive. Mobile mode is not showing both menus
Hello,
The mobile menu is the same, it has the same settings, and you can set only different menus.
Please let me know what you want to achieve.
Thank you!
I have two nav menus a website.
on desktop it is fine but I tried setting two menus in
mobile mode but it only accepts settings for the first menu icon
so both icons activate the same menu.
I cannot set different menus in mobile mode. ???
I’m I missing something obvious?
Please see attached screenshot for explanation
Thank you for that information! I have resolved the error message. I have also disabled the mobile plugin. However, I have one question. How do we get our logo to appear above the black menu line once again? I’ve attached two images below, one with the logo showing and how the website used to look on mobile before with Newspaper v6 and what it is looking like right now with v12 and no logo showing. We want to regain the look we had before with v6 and the logo showing with the desktop view on mobile. Thank you for your help!
Please see images:
How we want our front-page to look again (like when we were using Newspaper v6)
How our front page looks now with Newspaper v12 (No Logo showing?)
