Hi,
There is currently an issue that is happening when attempting to login on mobile, we are aware of this problem and we will officially fix it in the next theme update. This will happen as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Thanks
Hello,
If you use the mobile theme, then there is no style 5 on the mobile theme. There is only a single post style and that is the default one. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you want to remove images on the mobile theme you can use css to hide the featured image for specific posts or from a specific category.
I will be able to help with the code if needed but i will need a link to your site and and you will need to place the posts with no featured image in a specific category so I can target it with css.
Thanks.
Hello hassan9t2,
If you want to affect the style for the mobile theme you should to use the media queries and target the mobile width with your properties. You can provide your website URL so I can give you an example.
Thanks for the message!
Hello hoanhdotat,
Unfortunately, our mobile menu has not been designed to be replaced with another one, sorry! Notice that mobile menu was custom made and it cannot be changed, sorry! Also, we do not recommend using other untested plugins with this functionality because you can easily break the theme and we cannot provide support for untested plugins, sorry!
Thanks for the message!
Hi, I have a newspaper theme that I’ve been using for 4 months.
Lately, pages on the mobile site are not updating whereas the desktop ones are.
Blog posts are updating per normal.
The 2 pages that are no updating are as follows
https://www.propertyinvestsg.com/price-charts/ (see NUS Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) – Oct flash and Sept revised 2017 vs mobile site)
https://www.propertyinvestsg.com/singapore-reit-data/
Would appreciate any help!
How i can replace mobile menu ? i used some plugins like hero menu, mega menu… but not working with Newmag theme.
Thanks !
Hi,
I have questioned about the compatibility of Newspaper with BBPress before too. It works charm on desktop, but the mobile theme is a bit hectic task. Tried messing with functions.php, but didn’t work out as m not much of a developer.
My current question is, is there any way i can add BBPress sidebar to mobile theme of Newspaper? 90% of users are on mobile, and disabling mobile theme doesn’t seems a good idea, given my GTMetrix scores are already above 90. Is there any way i can add a little of features to BBPress forums on mobile theme?
Regards
Dr.Varun
Hi,
It works when the Mobile Theme Plugin is not enabled.
However, the most recent version of the plugin.
Thanks.
Hello,
On https://www.lja.fr, my mobile theme doesn’t display “featured” category on the top grid.
Can you help me please.
Thks very much.
Hello,
Sorry but our theme does not have settings for each viewport in particular. You will have to use css if you want different fonts on different viewports.
Here is an example on the post content for mobile devices:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-post-content p, .td-post-content{
font-size:15px!important
}
}
Thanks.
Hi,
For me the images and captions display properly when the default responsive version is used. The issue was in the mobile theme plugin. Please provide a link to the post where this is happening on your website so we can inspect it. I have inspected some of the post on the website, there is no problem from what I can see

I just installed the theme and I don’t see anywhere in the theme panel a place to manage the font size for mobile or tablet view. I do see the THEME FONTS section where you can specify the font size for all kind of text elements, but if I put 21px for Post Content for exemple, it remains 21px on a mobile. Is it me or this feature is missing? Is there a place where we can manage that without creating custom CSS rules for breakpoints?
Thanks in advance for your help!

About site speed: yes I am avare about a 4-6 seconds loading time from Europe ( the server in Miami, IOZoom.com ) and they can not do anything, so I move my stuff to a faster hosting provider ( probably ovh.co.uk ) .
But seriously 4-6 seconds loading – a 2 meg webpage shouldnt appear the default css settings at the first flash?!
Hi,
Indeed it seems to happen when the mobile plugin is active, a smaller image (like thumbnail) inserted in the post content will look like this
Without mobile plugin – https://www.screencast.com/t/BYePrJ4LmHN
With mobile plugin active – https://www.screencast.com/t/cfGDIiAM
We will fix this issue for mobile as soon as possible, in the next theme update most likely. A quick fix would be to edit the mobile theme stylesheet and remove this !important tag

Sorry for this inconvenience.
Thanks
Hi,
Try it like this, deactivate all plugins (caching plugins too) except theme plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Try to reinstall the mobile plugin again and see if it works properly.
There is no problem using the mobile plugin on a default theme install, a plugin could be the cause for this to happen. Let us know the results.
Thanks
Hello,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, you have to place the code in the mobile theme section at the very bottom of the theme panel. Make sure you clear cache afterwards.
Thank you!
Hi,
I just bought NewsPaper 8.5 yesterday. I have successfully installed at http://jarijari.co.id
I have two problems.
1. I am unable to change the background color from black to dark green in the general theme color section.
Here is the screenshot: http://prntscr.com/ht6aav
2. When viewing the website in mobile devices, there are two NewsTicker element although I just placed one newsticker when designing the home page. The screenhsot is here http://prntscr.com/ht6cm9
thank you
Hello when I activate tagDiv Mobile Theme
the menu links are blocked, any solution?
Hey Simon,
It seems to still happen sometimes. Definately on mobile – see screenshot:
https://gyazo.com/8905b9ec2e65ab3f02c51e9cd2a9f878
(thats landscape view on iphone5, portrait the featured image was full width and the caption layout was correct.) Also same issue on ipad.
I think it also happens when i am logged in to the WP dashboard and looking at the frontend site pages.
Running theme version 8.5.1 with all updated plugins.
Thanks,
Killian
Hi,
1. I could give you a code to remove the post views. If you are using the mobile theme plugin enter the code in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS, if the mobile theme is not used enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS in the phones section
.single .td-post-views {
display: none;
}
2. The count will still continue in the background if you remove them as shown, only if they are disabled in the theme panel it will stop counting.
Thanks
Hello mediapelangi,
Most likely, you have enabled the Mobile Theme plugin which has a special style than the desktop version and that’s why you bring these results. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ If you want to remove that behavior you should simply turn off the mobile plugin and if you want to change it you should do it yourself and modify the mobile files from plugin which is not a simple task and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this case, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
The mobile can either be active as a whole, it cannot be activated only for some elements. This plugin is useful if you wish to display a different and simpler version of the website.
It is not required to have it active, when inactive the same content from desktop will be displayed (default responsive version).
As of the previous theme update an option was introduced in the composer, you can now choose to hide rows or certain elements on mobile for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/hgo09L4awn
– https://www.screencast.com/t/2ps0eI6vx
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nNs4IoaSI
That would be a solution to remove the slider on mobile. The iframes could be modified with code maybe, if you could provide an example it would be helpful.
The footer will be the same as on desktop however, I could not say how you could make changes to it. Maybe that would be possible with custom code as well, depending on what you want to do.
Thanks
Hello,
Sorry but we were on Christmas break as can be seen at the very top of this post: https://www.screencast.com/t/uGKURLrD
Our theme does not have any options to change fonts specifically for the mobile version.
The fonts on themobile version of your site seem fine now. Please provide specific instructions to precisely which font you want changed and how so I can provide the proper code.
Thank you!
