Hello,

If you want to have the sidebar on mobile before the post content, you will have to modify the theme files to make the sidebar come first before the post content. Unfortunately there is no setting for this and it can only be done through customization. Here is an example on how to do it:
http://screencast.com/t/Llv6U3Vk and then use this css to move the sidebar back to the right (it will go left after the customization)

.td-main-sidebar{
float:right!important;
}

Thanks.

Hello,

We did run tests withe the official AMP plugin by automatic the wordpress developers and it runs properly with our theme. There is no need for us to create AMP implementation as there already is one created by the wordpress developers. Here is a topic on that which provides useful info: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-getting-started-with-accelerated-mobile-pages-amp/

Thank you!

Hello Bintmusic,

Please keep in mind that our mobile theme has not been tested and also, has not been designed to be used in this regard, and therefore, I cannot provide an accurate response in this regard, sorry! You can try to add some conditions in front-page.php core file because this is the main core file which creates the homepage on mobile theme, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/OYWBZm1Q1lHO This is just a simple suggestion.

Thanks for the message!

The mobile theme has not been what it looks like in the previews, can you advise with fixing it? I have a double header and the overall look is very clunky. My site is http://www.njtechreviews.com .

Thanks,

Thanks for the quick response. I disabled all the plugins except Visual composer and the Woocommerce plugin (wouldn’t be able to see if it worked otherwise).

However, the problem hasn’t changed. All is fine on desktop but then slightly blurred on mobile/tablet. Do you have a recommended size for Woocommerce image settings, perhaps? That would be compatible with your theme?

Would appreciate your help.

Thanks again!

Hi Catalin,

my problem is put a noindex on some page on mobile theme, but not on desktop.
With Yoast is not possible.

I could put a condition “if is_page”, but i dont know where…

Do you have a good idea to make this?

Thanks!

Bogdan,

I appreciate your response. First, I want to let you know that I contacted the author of the plugin. He is aware of the cause of the conflict and pledged to fix it with his next release.

Regarding using either the mobile theme or an AMP plugin to offer a mobile experience, I think this is the wrong approach. An AMP-enabled mobile page is completely different than the pages generated by your mobile theme plugin. AMP pages get added visibility in Google search results and lead to increased clicks, impressions, and user experience thereby leading to improved SEO. AMP compatibility may also impact ranking within Google search results.

AMP isn’t about providing a theme but rather supporting a set of technologies that give the pages preferential treatment in Google search — an important element of any news site. I find it difficult to believe Newspaper is the best news theme for WordPress if it does not make it easy to support the implementation of AMP pages. On my site, AMP pages are only viewed when clicking on a Google search result on a mobile device. Visiting the site directly will load the regular mobile theme. Additionally, we provide a link on the AMP page to load the mobile theme for a better experience.

Making compromises for better search result placement is not optimal. Because of this, modifying the existing mobile theme so it is compatible with AMP would obviously be the preferred solution but you have stated in previous communications with me that this is not on your roadmap.

Therefore, choosing an official AMP plugin that works flawlessly with Newspaper as you have done with Contact Form 7, WP Super Cache, Font Awesome 4 Menus and other plugins is essential to ensure that Newspaper remains the best and most full-featured news theme for WordPress. The AMP for WP plugin is the best we’ve found and this is the one I would recommend you take a look at.

Thanks,
Ben

Hello,

Whenever I visit my site from the mobile device there is a Menu wrapper flash for fraction of seconds

It only comes when the mobile theme plugin is active along with the speed booster plugin.

Disabling any one of then fix the issue.

Is there any solution to fix it without disabling any plugin.

NOTE: No incompatible plugin is installed.

Hello,
Sorry but you cannot use the mobile theme for specific page and the responsive version for others. The mobile theme will not use visual composer so that means that any pages that have content blocks will have to be created for mobile users using the standard mce editor without any content blocks. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks.

Hello Bintmusic,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to do this, sorry! Please keep in mind that the mobile theme cannot be partial disabled, sorry!

Thanks for the message!

Hello thepeel,

Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to make this, sorry! As you can see, our mobile menu has been compacted to be displayed in hamburger menu to rate well on mobile devices. If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

Well since both solutions do the same general thing, you should only use one or the other. The AMP plugins is a type of mobile theme so using 2 mobile themes clearly does not provide the desired results. You will not be able to use both.

Thank you!

Hello,

We get this issue a lot with users who try to customize the theme to position properly in RTL mode. The mobile menu is hidden from view in the normal mode but when you switch to rtl, you will also have to change the mobile menu position so it will be outside of the screen on the right. The css for the mobile menu will not change automatically.

Hi,

1) You will have to change your mobile logo though as you have a logo set for mobiles in the mobile theme section of the theme panel that does not exist. Here is your logo url:
http://www.hotcupofbeauty.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/Header-Waterlily-lower-case1-resized-300×100.png
It provides a 404. Please change your mobile logo.

2) You can use this code to remove the mobile sub-footer:
.td-sub-footer-container{
display:none!important
}

Thank you!

Hello roqeem,

#1 Do you want to remove these Blocks from footer section on mobile? -> http://screencast.com/t/SiaClv8VK1 If you want this, you should use a bit of CSS code to do that. Try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area.

@media(max-width:767px){
.td-footer-container .td_block_7, .td-footer-container .td_block_popular_categories{
display:none;
}
}

The result is here -> http://screencast.com/t/iSJ2pPhpD

#2 I guess that you want to get rid of it the Excerpts, right? I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the Block 11 which uses the module 10 to display your posts. So, if you want to remove the Excerpts you should do this -> http://screencast.com/t/mvo5AXfrXS and the Excerpts for this type of module/block will not appear.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

The update should run smoothly and there is nothing to be concerned about. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and make sure you also update all theme plugins: visual composer, social counter, mobile theme (they will not update automatically)

Thanks.

Hi!

Cant figure out how to show the copywrite on the tagdiv-gallery in mobile view. On my site using newspaper-theme it works just out of the box. The tagdig-gallery in newsmag is a mess if you ask me. I have fixed the overlapping in the bottom of the gallery and also added code to show arrows. Just cant figure this last problem out.

Here is how i looks on my other site.

Hi!

In my Newsmag theme a have an article inline ad set to show after paragraf 1. When i also have tagdiv-gallery in the post it overlaps the ad when the text ends before bottom of ad. How to solve this?
http://www.bilddump.se/bilder/20170108175210-81.94.84.28.jpg

If i hit enter a couple of times so that the end of the text is bellow ad it looks fine. But then it shows a big white area on mobile as it thinks its text there.
