Hello, it looks like all clickable buttons that are not links don’t work.
Desktop, mobile site or mobile theme.
Search, hamburger menu, close, next/previous buttons in Smart lists.. see attachment
Is there any known fix to this?

Thanks

Hi,

There is no way of showing 2 columns. The block Catalin mentioned shows 2 posts in one column. But you cannot have 2 columns as the mobile view is only 1 column. There is no simple way of having 2 columns on mobile.
This is the way our theme was built. Once the screen goes under 767 px, then only 1 column will be displayed. Block 15 was an exception as it shows 2 posts on 1 column but there is no other element that can do rthis.
What are you trying to achieve? what element do you want to create? what content are you trying to add?

Hello themesic,

Please keep in mind that the only solution in this regard is to use the Block 15 which displays in 2 columns for mobile mode (not mobile theme), as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/AgTXOvdBeBv

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello lethow,

I guess that you are using the Mobile theme for your mobile mode, right? So, please notice that the Mobile theme concept has own smart list layout which is not smart list 7. It is just smart list mobile which is only available for mobile theme. If you are not happy with the mobile theme, please notice that you can disable that plugin and then, the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mode.

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello themesic,

Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option in this regard and please notice that this task it can not be made so easily because the mobile width is too short and the elements will look very ugly. If you want to implement this way to your mobile mode, please notice you will have to do it yourself and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello themesic,

Unfortunately, the theme has been designed to be switched to 1 column for mobile and it is not a simple task to change this behavior because the layout will be damaged. If you want to make this change, please notice that it involves custom work and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

When running my homepage on standard http://some1spc.com the mobile and desktop theme work perfectly. After having many issues with stripe declining credit cards due to no HTTPS setup on my website we needed to implement it. Now after being implemented the mobile theme does not allow users to login/join. Is there a fix for this?

Thanks!

Hello,

We do not recommend using 2 ads in one ad spot. the theme was not designed to work like this. If you want rotating ads, you can use a plugins such as adrotate but we have not tested multiple ads in one spot with our ad system/
As for the mobile theme issue, there is a problem with wp super cache. please follow this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-problems-3/

Thank you!

Hello,

This is because you use the mobile theme plugin. Please read this guide to learn bout what the plugin does and how it affects your site: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello Bogdan,

I didn’t translate something yet manually.
I also checked some other settings of the theme and until now it seems that everything works fine.
So, I deactivated all the plugins as you proposed except “visual composer” and “WP Super cache”. I cleared the cache and tried again without any luck.
I don’t use wordfence and I don’t have any cdn files.

Plugin list that I use: Admin Columns, Coming soon and Maintenance mode WpDevArt, Enhanced Media Library, EWWW Image Optimizer, greeklish-permalinks, Regenerate Thumbnails, tagDiv Mobile Theme, tagDiv Social Counter, tagDiv Speed Booster, WP Super Cache, WPBakery Visual Composer and Yoast SEO

Now should I start translating from English to Greek ? 🙂

Hello,

This method seems to be the working one: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16165211/how-to-set-a-different-static-homepage-for-mobile-version-wordpress bvut we cannot guarantee it works as it is not tested. There a re multiple parts of code and editing you have to make in the theme rather than a simple copy and paste. Follow the link and read it carefully as there are explicit instruction to where the code goes and what you should include in the root of the theme.
If you cannot do it, we suggest hiring a freelancer to help out as this represents customization adn we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.

Thank you!

Hello,

Sorry but we have not tested any classifiled plugin to say for sure. The first plugin does not work on desktop either on my end: http://screencast.com/t/jALHqEWffJ. The second one seems to work properly on desktop but on mobile you use the mobile theme plugin. The mobile theme is a totally different theme and you it is not tested with any plugins for the moment. You can try to add your shortcodes in the mobile editor as this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you for the answer!
Now how do i change the background image of the mobile menu when i`m not using the mobile theme plugin?

Bogdan B.

Hello,

Unfortunately the mobile version of the site was never meant to show the top menu. It can be added with a bit of custom css but only at the top of the main page, not inside the hamburger menu. Try this code:
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}
div.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display:block !important;
float:none!important;;
}
.td-header-top-menu-full {
display: block!important;
}
.td-header-sp-top-widget{
display:none!important;
}
.menu-top-container {
display: table!important;
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto
}}

Add the code in the theme panel->custom css box.

Thank you!

Hello,

Please try the code below and place it in Theme panel->Custom CSS area, if you want to hide the Pinterest Social Network for Mobile.

The code is ->

@media (max-width:767px){
.td-sp-pinterest {
display: none!important;
}
}

Thanks for the message!

Hello,

For the mobile ads there is no fixed position as the mobile ads are dynamic because there are so many screen sizes. You will have to change the type of google ad you use. Google offers lots of ad types and some need a specific instructions and some don’t. If your ad does not work on the desktop theme unless you give it a specific dimension, then it will probably not work on mobile as there is no specific dimension on the mobile theme. You will have to first get the ads to work properly on auto and then try the mobile theme ads. A standard adsense ad works properly on all theme dimensions auto or specific ones. You can try to contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.copm and provide your adsense code so we can test it on our end to see if it behaves the same on our end, or there is something else affecting ads on your site.

Thank you!

Hello,

The top icons doe not have a setting to remove them but it can be done with this custom css:

@media(max-width:767px){
.td-menu-socials{
display:none;
}}

As for the sidebar, unfortunately the mobile theme does not have sidebars. it was created without them. If the sidebar is a must have on your site, then we suggest not using the mobile theme plugin as there is no way of adding sidebars in the mobile theme. sorry.
Thank you!

so with this if again i have the same problem, the problem is at adsense?

It is a little weired, because at adsense i have created a responsive add.

Also, i had problems with adsense ads not redering at the website theme (not the mobile theme), and it was needed to specify for every ads possition in the theme and for every screen the right dimensions and was worked corectly.

At mobile ads i don’t see something like that. There are no other options which maybe i don’t have in mind?

Thank you

Bogdan B.

Yes, add the adrotate shortcode in the mobile theme ad spot if the mobile theme ad is the one you want to use. That way the ad will be delivered through the plugin and the theme will; no longer have any implication on ad rendering.
Thank you!

Hi Catalin,
Thank you.

I have gone through all the links that you have shared with me and have understood many things. Few things which are still not clear, please try to answer them specifically

1. As you said “Please notice that the Featured Category is a category that is added automatically by our theme.”, what if I have already one category with the same name “featured” with same slug even before I started using your theme. Will NewsPaper theme create a duplicate category with the same name but different slug? Or it will not create any new category ? ( Since I already have that category)

2. I understood that I can populate posts on the mobile theme grid by adding the posts in the “featured” category: But what will be the order of the appearance of the post? Will the three latest posts from featured category will be posted on the grid or any random three posts ( not particularly in the order of date of publishing)

For the same thing- what is the case with “Editors Pick” under the footer section? Currently, I see that it shows random posts from “featured category” Shouldn’t it display the latest posts from this category?

Please try to understand that – Though you have listed “Featured” as one of the “Sort Order” here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/ but you have not made it clear that in what order posts will be displayed from “Featured Category”. Please make it clear even in your tutorial section. Let me know if you are having trouble in understanding what I am trying to ask.

3. what does sort = “popular” denote ? It’s 1. Popular (all time), 2. Popular (last 7 days or 3./Popular (jetpack + stats module required) ??
If its 3. Popular (jetpack + stats module required) , then I don’t have jetpack installed , how does it showing three posts under “popular posts” section in footer style-1 then?

I have gone through various threads here and have read various confusions about this issue with many community members here. A well-explained tutorial must be added in our community forum on this.

Thank you.

Hello,

I;m not sure what you are referring to when you say your footer does not show page content. The footer will not show page content. It shows the footer content. If you refer to pages not displaying content on the mobile theme, then please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!
