Hi Isntalled your theme and re generated all images and installed latest vearsion of theme but it doesnt show images in mobile theme
Thanks. The code made the author and date back in place, but the line on the mobile theme is also fragmented, just like the webversion. Is there some way to fix this issue?
Hello oyvind,
The author will need a bit of a CSS fix as the CSS got changed a bit in the new update but the author name was not updated for it. So until the next theme version please use this CSS code in the mobile theme’s custom code box:
.td-post-author-name div { display:inline; }
Sorry for the inconvenience but please notice that we will consider fixing all of them as soon as possible in future updates.
Thanks for your message!
HI
The theme display three posts from featured category on mobile theme. To remove those posts from mobile homepage just remove them from Featured category.
Thanks!
Hello Nordpresse,
Please3 keep in mind that our mobile theme has not been tested with the external cache and if you have these the theme will not working as properly.
After several investigations in this regard have concluded that this type of issue come from WP Super cache which is not fully compatible with WordPress 4.6 and that’s why this problem occur. We hope that WP Super cache plugin will be updated it as soon as possible and that problem will be fixed. Notice that this issue appears and on Mobile Theme from Jetpack when the caching plugin is active.
Please notice that we have reported this issue to Jetpack and we are waiting for an update from them. Until that, you should use our workaround posted here -> https://github.com/Automattic/wp-super-cache/issues/132
Also, please try the theme without any untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting in the theme.
Thanks for the message!
Hi! This night I upgraded to 7.3. Before upgrade each article had a line right below the title of the article with the author name and the publishing date. Now this line seems to be fragmented in two parts. On the mobile theme this section seems to be hidden behind the featured image. Any solutions?

HI
I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using Mobile theme module from Jetpack plugin: http://screencast.com/t/4z2vCzZCNAOi This module create issues with our theme and we don’t recommend its usage. Try to deactivate the module, clear all caches then test again.
Thanks!
How can we turn off featured articles on the mobile theme (there appears to be very limited control over the mobile theme)
I simply need it to show my latest articles only – no need for the featured articles above
Hi, How do I show featured image only on mobile versions? (By not using mobile theme) And wanted to display the social media share icons just under the featured image. Please help
This is still happening and i dont see what i can do, i need some cache on server, but how to prevent this from happening ?
Try in chrome to go on some posts and i think you will get the bug… which is really anoying with the mobile theme…

Hi Bogdan,
I appreciate your quick response to my inquiry. I tried using header style 1 as you suggested prior to posting my initial post. That is pretty close to the format that I want. However, when I paste AdSense script into the header ad position in the theme panel the ad appears to the right of the logo but it is not inline with the logo. It gets stuck to the top of the area and is sometimes cut off.
I have tried adding padding and boarder in a div around the script but it won’t budge. Right now we changed some code for style 10 and put the logo and ad box into a table which is perfect except for it’s not a responsive fix and looks bad on mobile devices and tablets.
Can you help me with why the ad is not inline with the logo and why it is stuck to the top of the area and sometimes even cut off under the top menu bar? I’ve changed it back to style 1 so you can see what I mean.

Update (Mobile Theme): I discovered why the slides of mobile theme doesn’t work correctly, every post was considered as featured because the category was broken, now i’ve fixed it.

Fenix. Reason: update
I’ve noticed a new issue: sometimes the mobile theme isn’t loaded but it’s shown the normal responsive theme. I think that this is caused by the cache (I’m using WP Super Cache and I followed your guide to set it), because with the cache disabled it seems to work.
Oh thank you, now the mobile theme works! Unfortunately, there are still some issues:
– The three slides in mobile theme doesn’t show the featured articles (??)
– The logo in mobile theme is very big and is adherent with the icons of menu and search (https://i.gyazo.com/109590c01af9b935fb2729105dd2eb92.jpg)
– The social counter is still black instead of light blue (https://i.gyazo.com/3c1190c4da968d574aa6b9acf4de6682.png)
P.S:
– The post’s author is hidden (https://i.gyazo.com/02da00224502aae85935d9df8fa19cb3.jpg)
– The script of review’s plugin doesn’t work and show 0 instead of the true vote (https://i.gyazo.com/4b953801e0a9885344984178da0c9918.jpg)
Hello sjlabar,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the mobile theme, right? Please notice that none of shortcode is not recognised by Visual Composer, sorry! If you want to display this ad to the mobile mode, you will have to turn off the mobile plugin and the theme will be switched to the general responsive mobile mode and the ad will appear.
Thanks.
Hello Kley,
I have checked your website and I saw that you have a problem with your mobile theme in that your featured images are not displayed. Please try to re-download the latest version of the theme which is still 7., but the fix was implemented after 7.3 was released. Please download the theme again, delete your current theme and install the freshly downloaded one. The version is the same but the fix will be present.
As an alternative here is the fix needed:
Add this code in the mobile theme’s function.php:
td_global::$td_options = get_option(TD_THEME_OPTIONS_NAME); //read the theme settings once
It should look like so: http://screencast.com/t/ke18K42lG
If you want to change the Big Grid from your front page in mobile theme, please notice that you will have to alter the code from the td_block_big_grid_mob_1.php core file and change the post limit, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/tm8M9M6nBrhG
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
Salut,
Multumesc!
I also want to make a question: is it possible to edit the category of slides shown (top grid 3) in the mobile theme? Because the filter for featured posts doesn’t work… I’m disabling the mobile theme plugin to prevent users reports.
P.S: There’s also a minor issue with the social counter’s widget, the header color doesn’t work.

Hi,
I’m having some issues with the Mobile Theme Plugin, it doesn’t work. I’ve installed the latest version of your plugin (1.0) and then i set the settings but none of them works. To make matters worse even the images does not works.
That’s what i’ve tried to do: disable the cache, use regenerate thumbnails and re-instal the mobile theme plugin.
Here are the screenshot from mobile and PC:

No, you can code information but we maybe not. Hosting company explored the reasons. We closed all plugin and cache settings it didnt not work. Newsmag theme remove. I try different theme site normally work but newsmag mobile performans very bad. Newsmag maybe the best of theme but not for me blogger only developer and for those who have the knowledge of the code. If i know code maybe solve problem. If only tagdiv speaciel customer support. if only will update newsmag mobile versione.

Hello,
I am using this http://prntscr.com/ccu51r
[vc_row][vc_column][td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_1" spot_title="- Advertisement -"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
And in the mobile theme it is displaying the shortcode, it is working fine on desktop version.
Hi
I’ve checked your site and noticed that you have a very strong cache which may affect page’s content. The cache may come from from your server so try to contact you host provider and ask him if there is an cache on the server. The cache it’s very tricky, even if you deactivated the cache plugin some pages may still be delivered from cache. Try to enable WP Super Cache again and delete the cache a few times then test the site again. Note that WP Super cache is not fully compatible with V 4.6 of wordpress but you can use the fix from this topic as a temporary solution: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-does-not-work-properly/
There is a big difference between mobile theme and the responsive theme. Basically the mobile theme load a simpler version of the page, fewer resources are requested and the page load faster. There is no support for shortcodes in mobile theme and when the server prepare the html it’s skipped a lot of php code from Visual Composer, the queries made to the database are fewer and the response time is smaller. Also page size is smaller on mobile when mobile theme plugin is active.
However the difference may be negligible if the site is not properly optimized. Our theme was developed to be fast but to hit a good score may be needed additional customization.
Check this topic for more details in page speed regard: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-memory-problem/ The thread is from Newsmag theme but the same applies for Newspaper.
For more details about mobile theme and how it work check this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Basically the mobile theme works like this:
– on homepage displays three posts from featured category fallowed by latest article list.
– on other pages displays only the content from mobile editor.
When mobile theme is deactivated you will have the same content displayed on any device, there is no need and additional setup for the page.
I hope this helps.
Thanks!
