Good evening! My homepage has some anchor links (http://kairos.santoantoniomacae.com.br/) that work perfectly on desktops, but in responsive mode for mobile the links do don’t work. Clicking on any menu with anchor simply does not happen, nor does it close the screen. In the menu using the link for example: “#fale-conosco” instead of “http://kairos.santoantoniomacae.com.br/#fale-conosco”, because in the latter way the page gives a refresh instead of just Go to the anchor. Can you help me solve this problem urgently, please?
Simion, Is there any workaround to get a block (i.e. a post feed of specific categories) to show up in the Mobile Editor on a Page?
Having to deactivate the mobile theme plugin affects load time and performance, but at the same time, we can’t have our pages (Contact, Subscribe, etc,) not showing up at all.
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I decided to deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin. It was preventing our custom content that we designed using VC to not display on phones. Sorry to open the can of worms for nothing.
Thanks – Jerrad
Hello,
Sorry but our theme does not have any such settings and that is not achievable through css. You will need customization services in order to customize the menu how you want it. Our theme only provides a hamburger menu for mobile phones, not on desktop.
Thank you!
Where do add the code in comment.php (mobile) /wp-content/themes/Newspaper/mobile? Anybody?
When I don’t have the Mobile Theme plugin activated, my stylings and logo appear on the wp-login.php page for all devices including phones.
When the plugin is activated, it goes back to being the WP default wp-login.php page for phones only. Tablets and desktops see my custom login page.
Hi,
If you use the mobile theme plugin, you can display a different menu than on desktop version. A mobile section will appear in the theme panel when the plugin is active, and you can set the mobile menu there

Thanks
Hi,
The problem was with the file name path in the functions file of the mobile theme. It should have been like this

If you still have problems using the mobile theme, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information and FTP access as well, so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in your email.
Thanks
Hi,
The excerpt length can be changed for each module individually. On desktop here

And on mobile when using the mobile theme here

Lots of factors impact those “stats.”
Generally if your site is optimized and loads at the same speed/performance, and with same content, your readers should react same way — regardless of theme ‘version.’
Why would one version cause somebody to stay on your site +/- 60 seconds.
The reason *most* theme devs on 100 different theme foundry sites don’t have much of an answer to this is due to it not being directly theme related unless you have an actual F12 console error, or bug causing page not to load properly — and taking into account that viewer stats are affected during site revamp, especially if not using a custom ‘maintenance mode’ plugin to let viewers know you’re working on site, and that it’s not busted.
For example if you serve busted stuff, it gets cached on mobile, and when somebody comes back to check, they might still get served busted version and leave. A maintenance plugin tells people “hey, we’ll be back soon, once we do some house cleaning…” and so they never get served broken/mish-mash code.
So, take all the sky is falling nonsense on all theme forums with major grain of salt.
Enjoy!
Hi,
As the top menu doesn’t show on mobile I’d like to be able to add those menu items to the main mobile menu. Is this possible without adding them to the main desktop menu?
Here is my dev site http://culturalattache.michaeljcates.com/
Basically I’d like to have Home, About, and Contact top bar menu items included in the mobile menu.
Thanks.
First some information that you need. I am using Newspaper 8.0 and the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. My website address is https://evscconnect.com.
I have a website that is a private intranet where users gain access by logging in using the wp-login.php page. Everything on the site is working great except for when users login on their phones. I am using a function in my child theme to replace the WordPress logo and styles with my own custom styles. The function works fine on desktops and tablets. However, when I view the login page on a phone, I get the default WordPress login page.
Here is the function I am using.
function my_logincustomCSSfile() {
wp_enqueue_style('login-styles', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/login/login_styles.css');
}
add_action('login_enqueue_scripts', 'my_logincustomCSSfile');
Is there another piece of code that I need to add to allow my logo and custom styles for the wp-login.php page to appear on phones? Or am I missing something in the Newspaper Theme Panel?
Thanks,
Jerrad

This is written currently, and I remember having done this, but it turns out that no longer exists in the current download file and continues to be recommended deleting the file in the upgrade.

Hi Simon C.,
In floder public_html/wp-content/themes/osmelhoresdoces/mobile/js
Have only tagdiv_theme.min.js ( http://osmelhoresdoces.com/wp-content/themes/osmelhoresdoces/mobile/js/ ), not tagdiv_theme.js, and in actual files in codecanyon, have only tagdiv_theme.min.js.
What should I do?

And for checkout as well

Maybe I am misunderstanding this.

Hello braveinftech,
Please keep in mind that the Mobile Theme is just an optional plugin which comes bundled with the theme core files and which can be enabled from a panel, like as a normal plugin. Also, if you want to get rid of the mobile theme behavior, notice that you simply disable the mobile theme plugin from Plugins section and the theme will be automatically switched to the general responsive mobile version.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the message!
Hello,
the view count works fine on both mobile and desktop. Please aloow it a bit of time to load the page correctly as first the cached views are shown but are then rewritten with the correct number by the ajax view count.
As for the social icons it shows the same number on all devices I tested with. Please clear your browser cache on your devices as I cannot see any issue on my end. Both the view number and the social counter show the exact same number on all devices I tested with. (Pc, tablet, phone)
Thank you!
Hi,
There was a problem with the mobile theme functionality in the theme update, please download the theme package again and install it. Check this topic for more information as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-tabs-not-loading/
If the problem remains please provide a link to your website if possible, so we can inspect it.
Thanks
It works, but I found another issue – the cart and checkout pages use the default menu on mobile, but not the woocommerce menu. How to fix that?
Thanks
Hello smhinspire,
I have inspected your website on mobile devices and I did not saw any problem with your website. everything seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xx8DRewdop
If is not what you mean and if the problem is still there, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. Also, you should provide some useful screenshots.
Thanks for your understanding!
Thank you so much Catalin! Will it be possible to disable Mobile Theme and run the pages as responsive mode? Appreciated your timely help.
Hi, I have this issue where my view count isn’t working when we are using mobile and different PC.
To be specific, whenever we posted a content in our website, only certain PCs show the accurate number of views (viewers and social counter). In mobile and in other PCs, the amount of views is static and does not show any changes.
Here the screenshots:
