Hello guys,
you can add matched contents as related posts using following code:
<div class="wpb_raw_code wpb_content_element wpb_raw_html">
<div class="wpb_wrapper">
//YOUR MATCHED CONTENT CODE
</div>
</div>
Refer: http://prntscr.com/ej10ni
Result:
On desktop : http://prntscr.com/ej11rb
On Mobile: http://prntscr.com/ej128a
Hope this will help you all
Thanks for your understanding ?
Hi,
If you want the article like/tweet to show on the article page you will have to deactivate the mobile theme plugin, and use the responsive default capability instead. And also have this option enabled in Theme panel – https://www.screencast.com/t/pPDniQsRtWiX These are the features and capabilities of the mobile theme at the moment, if you choose to use it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Hi, just a quick question about the IOS Slider element…Is it supposed to be responsive? I was running it on a test page and noticed that on tablet and mobile when changing the screen orientation, that it breaks (text disappears and slider gets aligned to the left.) You can also see this on your demo page here:
Just wanted to bring this to your attention, Thanks
Hello,
But on your demo on mobile theme, button is clearly visible. So why i dont have it ?
I again update the mobile theme plugin, and its not displayed.
Thanks.
How can I make the toggle appear earlier? i have too many menu items. see photo
Hello Chito,
Yes, it is possible if you are using the media query rule and hide it only for mobile devices. For more references about this setting, you should check the following guide here -> https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_rwd_mediaqueries.asp
Thanks for your understanding!
1. How can I manipulate three column to display its icon in horizontal line in my mobile device. This display horizontally on desktop. But vertically on mobile device.
2. My ads on header section displays normally on desktop (728×90), but is cut off on mobile device.
I am using a plugin called “WP PRO Advertising System”.
They have different short code which are:
a. Post tag [shortcode][pro_ad_display_adzone id=”2136″]
b. Template tag: <?php echo do_shortcode(“[pro_ad_display_adzone id=2136]”); ?>
c. Iframe tag: <iframe id=”wp_pro_ad_system_ad_zone” frameborder=”0″ src=”http://warrimarket.com/?wpproadszoneid=2136″ width=”728″ height=”90″ scrolling=”no”></iframe>
d. Asynchronous JS Tag
I used the Iframe tag, which worked well for desktop device but cut off on mobile device.
Kindly assist me in getting the full banner size of 728×90 for the mobile device
3. How many plugins does Newspaper 7 support?
Hello,
You are probably using the mobile theme plugin. This means you will have to use the second editor (mobile editor) to add content for your mobile version of the theme. If using the mobile theme plugin , you need to create 2 versions of your pages as this guide explains: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:
@media(max-width:767px){
.td-menu-socials-wrap{
display:none!important;
}
}
This will remove the social icons from the mobile menu.
Thank you!
Hello Catalin,
Following your last message :
– We updated our theme with the newest version via FTP
– We disabled all our untested plugings
– We cleared all our caches
On the link your are showing and other mobile screens simulator the pictures are showing but on our real mobile phones they are not. We asked several persons to test it for us and it still isn’t working.
We tried to upload a new article showing new photos and they are still not showing, except for one only :
http://www.traveleaters.com/road-trip-dans-le-northland-nos-decouvertes-gourmandes/
We looked everywhere and couldn’t find a way why this particular photo was showing and not the other. This is really an issue for our website.
Thank you in advance for your help,
Hi,
Is it possible to hide a row on mobile and display only on desktop/tablet? I am referring to a row added using visual composer in a page/post.
Hello. All pages in “Newspaper Mobile” look blank. Could you help?
Hi! I get a huge gap between header ad and content when showing in mobile. Anyone can help solve this? See http://www.screencast.com/t/UOWBrHdFMp
I’m having trouble figuring out how to remove social icons from the mobile responsive menu. I can remove them from the main menu but they still appear in the responsive menu.
Please help!
I deleted all the custom CSS, and the problems persist. Now on responsive sharing buttons are not showing even they are activated, and the related posts are still cut on the right margin of the screen on mobile.
Thank you.
Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme cannot be overwritten in the child theme, if you want to make modifications to it you will have to make them directly in the theme files. The mobile theme was designed to be as light as possible in regards of performance. You can find all the available documentation about the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Thanks. Worked like a charm.
unfortunately it seems that the mobile theme doesn’t support a child theme, right?
Hi,
That is the way the mobile theme is designed. It displays posts from the featured category. Here is where this implementation is made – https://www.screencast.com/t/fsxzBb9s You could probably add a category id like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/JX6JmneOxBK and insert a category id, so it should display featured posts from that category only, and also change the sorting but this is not tested properly and it could provide unexpected results.
Please correct me if I misunderstood what you wanted.
Thanks
Hello,
The sticky menu is separate from the main menu. It will not work in it;s current form on the sticky menu.
if you want to affect only the mobile version with the code I provided, then add it in the advanced css box under mobile phones: https://www.screencast.com/t/qnaXteSKRUT
If you want the code to also affect the sticky menu, please use this code instead:
.td-header-menu-wrap-full, .td-affix{
-webkit-box-shadow: 0px 6px 6px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.15);
-moz-box-shadow: 0px 6px 6px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.15);
box-shadow: 0px 6px 6px 0px rgba(0,0,0,0.15);
}
Thank you!
At the landing page first there are 3 “highlighte
It’s seems to be necessary for the first 3 news that the featured category really named “Featured posts”. Otherwise it displays normal articles. Where can I change this, beacause my “Featured posts” category has another name…
UPDATE: As I know at this point it has exactly called “Featured”
Hi,
I see that you have managed to find the answer – https://www.screencast.com/t/4uADOLUufq When using the mobile theme plugin you must use the mobile editor to add content to the pages – https://www.screencast.com/t/RNKpH0yV you can find more information regarding the mobile theme here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks
Sorry, what I would like is for that shadow to take effect only with the mobile header.
Hi
I have a problem when using the mobile version of the Newspaper theme. When I try to open a page on my website, for example => http://www.sebatin.com/privacy
I just saw the title without content. I want to ask, how to solve the problem on my website?
Thank you
Sorry but from this morning I have the same problem of yesterday (tested even from desktop than from mobile). From the website’s home page, if I try to click on my articles, I don’t (clicking on title, description, image or “read more”). It is so weird! Can you tell me why I have this problem and how to solve it? thanks
