Hi,

currently my homepage shows just the latest posts on the mobile version and then the Footer. How can I change this settings?
I am using the Worldnews Template and I want it to look like in the mobile Demo of the Template, so that at the beginning there is the Logo/Name of the site then the popular posts, then the Videos, then latest posts and the finally the footer.
I tried to copy the code of my mainpage in the mobile section but it didnt worked.

Need help please. Thanks in andvance

Hi,

Your site, demos and everything shows clean headers starting from theme header.

For me, it starts with WordPress logo black header about a 1/3 inch high on very top with logo+log in+register on the right and search on the very left. How do I get rid of it?

Further, If I want the very top to have a large (scalable for mobile) banner, then the top menu then the header, how do I do that?

How do I make the header menu go full width of the screen?

Hi Catalin,

Thanks so much for your response. Really appreciate your help.

I understand re: making the top slider full width. However, is there a way to move the image up to the bottom of the menu bar, as per here:

Also, is there a way to change the actual height of this slider? Can you define a different set of rules for the slider on mobile too, as currently it looks very small on mobile?

Thanks again.

Hi,
The mobile theme has different files than the main theme. If you figure out how to change the code and make the main theme remove the ads for specific pages, you have to use the same method for he mobile files here: http://screencast.com/t/G1DDZbLMfE3r
Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately our theme does not have this option so if a mobile device is detected, it will load the mobile version. I cannot say for sure if any plugin for this will work or any other tool as we have not tested any.
Thank you!

Hi

Try this code for border:

.fullwidthbanner-container .fullwidthabanner {
border-bottom: 2px solid red;
}

Also to hide the sidebar on mobile use this code:

@media(max-width: 768px){
.td-main-sidebar{
display: none!important;
}
}

Thanks!

Hi,

I’ve done all the above.

The header/footer appears, but nothing from the content area. Everything works fine on the desktop version. It’s just the mobile version that doesn’t display the content.

You can check this page to see an example. Check it on computer, then check on mobile. You’ll see what happens. I can’t figure this one out!

Thanks for checking.

I’m referring to: .td_module_mob_2 .td-module-thumb

but I’m not able to change the height.

Please let me know, thanks,

Nothing to do. This is how it appears on iPhone 6s. Half page and not scrolling. Then i do not have in theme panel any mobile menu option, is that normal? Theme version is the last you released.

Hello Hasan Gunel,

I have done some tests on my side and the Ios Bookmarklet seems to work as propelry. Please try your theme without any untested plugin, just leave Visual Composer and Mobile Theme to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and try the theme in this mode and see how it goes.
If your problem is still there after this and if you need more assistance in this regard, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect your setup page. Also, please provide the link of this topic so we can easily identify you.

Thanks for your understanding!

I seem to have areas of unsightly white space appear between the paragraphs of my posts on the mobile version of my website. It also appears between the menu banner and headline of my posts

Can you please advise how I can fix this?

Hi there,

I wonder if it is possible to exclude some categories from the main page in mobile theme (while using that new plugin).

Currently it shows the newest posts. And I want to show the newest posts except for posts from some special categories.

Any advice appreciated!

Hi, Catalin.

Thank you for the answer. I did everything you said.

1. I disabled all plugins.

2. I activated only three plugins: Visual Composer, Mobile Theme, WP Super Cache.

3. I cleared all caches in WP Super Cache (I don’t use CDN).

Then I went to the one of the posts on my website from mobile phone. I saw the mobile version of the post.

Then I visited the same post from PC. And theme showed me mobile version again. I tried to clear cache. It didn’t help.

I tried another way. First I opened another post from PC. I got standart version of the post. I visited the same post from mobile phone. And from mobile format was also as for PC, not mobile version.

So, as I understood, WP Super Cache caches the version of post for the device that first enter the post. And then shows this version for all devices.

You can try by yourself at cardiagram.com.ua

Hello valnyc2016,

Unfortunately, I do not exactly understand what you want to achieve. The normal mobile version will bring you all the content for your mobile mode (sidebar+main content) on pages and on post pages the sidebar will be displayed underneath the main content. Do you want to show only the sidebar on your mobile version and hide the main content? Please be more specific and provide more details so I can understand it better. Also, you will have to provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer and so I will be able to provide a more accurate code.

Thanks for your understanding!
