Hi
You can use footer template 2 to display the text block, here is an example: http://screencast.com/t/fqe4iowhxsp – http://screencast.com/t/1nb26QcX0 – http://screencast.com/t/F1pXHarL1quX
Social icons were not designed to be displayed in main menu and to achieve that you’ll need some customization in theme’s files. Basically you have to edit the file corresponding with header style used and adapt the code. Also you’ll need some css to configure the layout.
This is a complex task which require lots of customiations in order to be achieved. Unfortunately we cannot offer custom work so if you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you.
To hide a specif column on mobile you can add a class for it in Visual Composer: http://screencast.com/t/jEmnnTLxr then use it in css like here:
@media(max-width: 768px){
.my-column{
display: none!important;
}
}
Thanks!
Hi
I’ve checked the indicated Facebook page on android and the links to your site are opened fine. When I click on the link it from Facebook application it is opened fine with Google Chrome browser. I am not sure why this is not working on your side but this is not a theme’s issue as it does not control that part. Try to clear mobile device cache memory then test again. Also try using different devices and check if the problem is still there.
Thanks!
Hi! After installing the 7.1.1 version ot the theme, I found a strange greenblock in the upper right corner of the mobile menu:
I have tried it in a number of mobile browsers (including default android) – it is always there. I think it is a sort of a bug. Do you have an idea how to take it away?
Kind regards,
Dmitry Sandakov

Hello Kvr28,
Unfortunately, we know about the firefox browser issue and if you test our demo in it: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ you will see similar results (our demo is a bit better optimized but the effect is still present)
There is little we can do about it as it’s a browser issue. The browser has flaws on every type of animation.
Sorry for the inconvenience but Mozilla needs to step-up their game.
As for the mobile included browsers, if Mozilla has such issues then not much can be expected of these browsers as well.
Sorry for the inconvenience but we cannot fix browser issues. A browser renders elements the best it can. Some browser’s best is not enough I’m afraid.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
When viewing on desktop, the post page look perfect. But when viewing with mobile device, every time I scroll down the infinite load of the same category posts pushing my sidebar down which I will never get to see it. How can I make the sidebar appear after the post content and before the category infinite load block?

Hello muggi15,
Please notice that the Mobile Theme is an additional plugin of our theme and it is optional. This feature can be disabled from the panel is you will turn off the mobile plugin. If you will do that, the theme will be switched to the default responsiveness mobile version and this will bring all your customizations which you have done for the mobile version. As you can see, the mobile theme is totally a different template and if you want to customize it as you want, you will have to add all your custom CSS code in the certain field from Mobile Theme, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/iaPKq1eg
If you refer to something else, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks.
Good morning,
Sorry have to revisit this subject, I’m just not getting it to work.
On my mobile menu there are several items that don’t display content as per website:
About US/Galleries and Newsletter Subscription.
You have previously asked for User name password, please send me link where I can post that so you can help.
Thank you, Charl.

Hi
For the moment we don’t plan to add support for more browsers for our themes. I’ve made a few tests on that browser and seems that it can handle the animation used for mobile menu. Our themes are compatible with browsers which support html5 and css3 animations.
Thanks!
It works on my computer when I shrink the window but not on my mobile device.

Hello,
I use Newspaper theme for my website SkyscraperSports.com and love it but my mobile menu isn’t working. When you tap or click on a menu option, it doesn’t do anything and put skyscrapersports.com/# in the URL bar. Can you help me fix it because a lot of my users access the site on phones and if they can’t use the menu when it’s in the mobile view that’s a big deal, thanks.
Thanks,
Steven Tsakanikas

Hello, I just installed the Newspaper theme and I set everything, but I’m having issues with the front page on mobile.
I have installed the mobile plugin and set a static front page, but it keeps showing latest articles on it. I tried deactivating and activating the theme plugin many times, it’s always the same.
How do I set the front page on the mobile to keep the format of the one on Desktop and loose the latest articles?
Thanks
After we post an article on our site we send out a link to the article via social media to promote it. If the user is on a mobile device and either sees this link via one of their social media apps (twitter, Facebook) and clicks it from there it opens the site within the app but the mobile CSS is not recognized and the site looks terrible. However, if you go to the browser on your mobile device and navigate to the same link it views fine.
What is the reason for the CSS not functioning as it should via a link from a social app on a mobile device? Looking to fix asap as this is how we gain a lot of our traffic.
Thanks,
Hi,
Here is my website : http://www.sweetdaddy.fr
Here is my screenshot : http://hpics.li/88678b7
After upgrading my theme, I have the problem shown in the screen : I have the mobile menu (“1”) that appears on my usual desktop menu (“2”), and did not have such problem before.
How is it possible to solve that please ?
Hi there!
I’m quite confused – I chose the same menu structure for mobile that I’m using for desktop (here: http://screencast.com/t/hNRDEuzKVk), so what i’d expect is to get access to the same sorted content on the corresponding pages.
For some reason, this simply doesn’t seem to work. If I click on a menu entry within the mobile version, I get a blank, white page just with the title of the page. Yes, I read https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and I know where to find the mobile editor to add special mobile content which can be shown between the two standard blocks. 🙂
Now here is the thing: The documentation says “the content of custom pages (ex. Contact Us page), present on the main theme, doesn’t appear on the “Mobile theme”, because the last one comes with it’s own editor and the possibility to add content that’s specially designed for mobiles. ” But otherwise, your presentation video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT61ioIUITk) clearly shows, that the system CAN handle the standard page menu and you get access to the pages as well.
So I’m totally lost, sorry (maybe I just don’t understand your manual). What exactly am I able to show on mobile? If I want to use the mobile theme instead of the standard responsive version (e.g. because it looks nicer ;)) but I want to show the same pages – do I have to copy all my articles, all my content etc again?
Hello,
Is it possible to have social icons in the Main Menu rather than in the Top Bar? I’d like them to the left of the search icon.
I noticed in the demo’s mobile menu there are social icons at the top. How do I get social icons to appear there?
Is it possible to have the mobile menu and the desktop main menu be different? Like have the mobile menu pull from the Top Header Menu location instead of the Header Menu location?
Thank You!
Hello I just updated to 7 and noticed our ads are shifted to the right on mobile. http://www.gomerblog.com/pics/mss.jpg . There looks to be some padding that is not needed. On ios the whole site is slightly scroll-able left to right because of this. Any ideas? Thanks
I wanted to keep users away from sign in to site and wordpress login page. But by default it is showing in theme on any mobile.
I cannot remove click here – to use the wp menu builder
Please help
Hello,
My ads are working properly on the desktop version and tablet version of the website, http://boomathens.com; however, the header ad on mobile is not showing.
Is there a fix for this?
Thank you in advance!
Hello,
In my site’s mobile view there is an area above the footer that I can’t figure out how to change.
The mobile site is http://www.livingtosmile.com
Currently in this area there is a white living to smile logo, “ABOUT US”, and “FOLLOW US” in this space. These seem to be taken from my computer-based site and falling into the mobile view.
The pages and footer load beautifully, but this other part has me stumped.
Thanks~
Hi there,
I’m used to use the chrome device emulator to QA the appearance on different screen sizes. What currently really bothers me is the following:
If I’m optimizing on desktop, I indeed do double check the appearance on different screen sizes. Doing so, I reduce the screen size in the device emulator, which works just fine.
BUT: As soon as Newspaper switches to the new mobile theme, it remains there – no matter if I set the emulator values back to default, extend the screen size or whatever. Can’t do anything to get back to the standard web UI instead of the mobile one. The only thing that helps: Empty my cookies.
Can you reproduce this?
Here is my current menu http://prntscr.com/bki7tk
It’s good… but I want it to be great! Is there any way I can fit the categories in the more on the whole menu in general?
So Instead of
HOME
COMPUTERS
SECURITY
GAMING
MOBILE
PROGRAMMING
MORE
NETWORKING
GADGETS
I would like it to be
HOME
COMPUTERS
SECURITY
GAMING
MOBILE
PROGRAMMING
NETWORKING
GADGETS
When I try to make it that, I get an ugly overflow to the next line with the category because all of them won’t fit.
Hello, are you going to release a new version of Newsmag anytime soon, maybe to fix the bug of the menu on samsung mobile with default browser?
I’m asking this because I want to upgrade my theme, but if you’ve planned to release a new version soon I’ll wait.
Thanks.
Hi,
If you use the Mobile Theme plugin please note that it doesn’t support Visual Composer and on mobile devices it will be loaded a predefined content(grid, latest articles) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you want the same content like you have on desktop, please disable Mobile Theme plugin.
Thanks!
Hello drastic,
Please notice that our mobile theme feature does not display you the content of your pages, but only for your posts. The mobile theme has only 2 modules which will be displayed on your side when the mobile plugin is activated -> Big Grid Mob 1 which contain the all your posts sorted from the Featured Category and on the bottom of the page you will bring the Latest articles. So, if you want to add some content on your pages you will have to manually add from the Visual Composer. Mobile Editor, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/P7uJGjo5qWGl For more information about mobile theme, please consult our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thanks for your understanding!
