I like the new mobile menu, but a don’t want to show the ”sign in” button. I don´t use the new mobile plugin (I think is to basic still, but is good).
So, tell me how can I hide the button ”Sign In”.
My blog is: http://www.runnerschile.com/blog/
I’d hope the mobile theme not only gets adopted but also becomes another selling pint for the theme. I was using WPtouch, but I switched as son the mobile them became available and I don’t plan on looking back. Having a mobile theme that maintains a consistent look and user experience is huge.
Thanks!
Hi
Most of my audience using mobile, so i need the picture in high resolution.
And i try to increase the thumb size from 180×135 to 360×270, but that is no change, still in low resolution.
I also install the Retina 2X, but its also no effect.
Please help
Hello,
Thank you for choosing newspaper.
1) The latest articles section is added from the page template itself. if you want to remove the latest articles section, please choose one of the 2 other templates: http://screencast.com/t/N5qsDft8E
2) the mobile theme is not compatible with all plugins unfortunately. This is a conflict that can be avoided if the mobile theme is installed first before all other non-tested plugins so please disable all plugins except visual composer and activate the mobile theme before your other plugins.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi
Unfortunately the theme does not have an option to deactivate the modal image only for mobile. This can’t be done easily as the effect it’s generated by js and are required some customizations in order to achieve the desired result.
Thanks!
Hi
There is no much we can’t do in this regard as the images loaded on mobile are the same as on desktop. A possible solution would be to increase the thumbs sizes but this may affect page’s layout in some cases. To increase the thumb size you have to edit td_config.php and increase the indicated values for each thumb used on the page: http://screencast.com/t/I3pS7B8kt2l
You can also try a plugin like Retina 2x which increase the image resolution for mobile. From our reports this plugin works fine with the theme.
Thanks!
Hi Guys,
Great theme, love it so far!
I have just bought Newspaper 7 and have som initial issues.
1) Can I remove “Latest articles”-section from the buttom of the front page, so the page just “stops” after the visual composer content? If yes, can you please tell me how?
2) When I’m trying to install tagDiv Mobile Theme I get the following message?
Fatal error: Cannot declare class Mobile_Detect, because the name is already in use in /var/www/mydailycommute.dk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/Mobile_Detect.php on line 28
Thanks guys 🙂

Hello,
The gradient was only added for the mobile menu, but there is a css trick to do it for the main menu as well.
Please use this code:
.td-header-wrap .td-header-menu-wrap-full{
background: red; /* For browsers that do not support gradients */
background: -webkit-linear-gradient(red, yellow); /* For Safari 5.1 to 6.0 */
background: -o-linear-gradient(red, yellow); /* For Opera 11.1 to 12.0 */
background: -moz-linear-gradient(red, yellow); /* For Firefox 3.6 to 15 */
background: linear-gradient(red, yellow); /* Standard syntax */
}
I set the colors to red and yellow, but you can change these to the ones you like. Just add the code in the theme panel->custom css box.

Thank you!
Hello colecoboy84,
If you want to edit the sharing button to your mobile theme, you will have to alter the code from the td_module_single_mob.php core file, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/2ZaPrQFGx
Thanks for your understanding!
I found a similar post and fixed the issue. Didn’t know mobile feature was turned on with NewsPaper7.
For anyone else with this issue read this and turn off mobile theme – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/with-7-0-version-smartphone-not-shown-pages/

Hey!
When browsing from mobile devices (tested via iPhone) pages are not displayed, I just get the page title with no content. The Top Menu and footer are displayed either side of that.
Try here – https://theucguys.com/call-accounting/
Its worth noting that this only appears to happen on pages and posts. WooCommerce Shop and Forum pages are displayed correctly.
Thanks!!
Hello,
I do not know how this feature happend but I need this really!! It is very important for our site.
In mobile menu I can add the feature “BACKGROUND GRADIENT COLOR”
https://abload.de/img/unbenannt9xu26.png You can see that the colours have a flow effect and they go from dark to bright. Is it possible to add the funtion in the main menu?
If not, please add this option to the theme! This is very necessary !

Hi, i like your theme and the outcome on desktop is perfect.
But i found that once i using mobile, the feature image show on front page is low resolution, how can i fix it?
Please help
my site: http://insolenews.com/
Thanks! What file should I edit to add a sharing button to the mobile theme?
Hello Glitched,
I have checked your website and I saw that your toggle mobile menu it is not had any reaction. I suspect this issue come from your untested plugins which you are using on your side, though. -> http://screencast.com/t/Uj4ZCsEkWOb Please try again to remove ALL your untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN file if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that the theme is fully tested and works as properly. You can do a test with our demo preview and check the results n mobile mode, like this -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for oyur understanding!
Hello TagDiv,
My site (www.glitched.co.uk) is no longer running JQuery on Mobile?
The mobile toggle or mobile search is not activating on mobile devices.
I have re-installed the theme, deactivated all plugins and re-activated them and the theme will still not register the action.
What can I do to fix this?
Thanks,
Hello,
This is just the 1.0 version of the mobile theme. It will have more options in the future. This primary version is the testing version so we can see if it caches on and if users like/use it. if it will grow in popularity, it will certainly be improved and updated.
Thank you!
Hello amorpeth,
Please notice that this type of message appears when you switch the theme and your menu is not set it from your panel. So, your will have to go in Theme panel>Mobile Theme->Mobile Settings and select from there your desired menu, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/xj8atUnM1e6X
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
This happens because of the mobile theme. Every page has to be created again for mobile as well. There is a second editor in the back-end for pages called a mobile editor. if this is empty and no content added inside it, then there will be nothing to display on mobile. Please follow this link to learn more about the mobile theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hello szedmaktom,
Please notice that in our theme is optimized only the logo for Retina Display and not the thumbnail images. Also, this effect appears only in mobile mode for module 17. As you can see, the image was cropped to the 696*385 px (as original size) and then, for mobile version this image will be increased with a bit of CSS code, like so -> http://screencast.com/t/1AqsvEEOIMJi and this will lose a bit of quality. So, this is the normal theme behaviour in this case and this was a developer decision to do that. If you do not like this, you will have to change the block/the module. The theme does not have images optimize for Retina logo because in this case it should load 2 different images (one for desktop mode and another one for Retina logo) and this would affect server memory.
Thaks for your understanding!
I’ve seen a number of people asking how to add LinkedIn and StumbleUpon sharing buttons to the theme. I managed to add both using/adapting some tips here on the forum, and with that I was able to ditch the sharing plugin I’d been using.

I could still use help with a couple of things, but first I’ll share the steps I used to add these buttons:
1. Adding this code to td_module_php for LinkedIn:
<a>title, ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8')), ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8') . '&source=' . urlencode(get_bloginfo('name')) . '" onclick="window.open(this.href, \'mywin\',\'left=50,top=50,width=600,height=350,toolbar=0\'); return false;"><i class="fa fa-linkedin"></i></a>
And for StumbleUpon:
<a>title, ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8')), ENT_COMPAT, 'UTF-8') . ' - ' . urlencode( esc_url( get_permalink() ) ) . '" ><i class="fa fa-stumbleupon"></i></a>
2. Adding Font Awesome 4 Menus
3. Adding this custom CSS:
.td-social-linkedin{
margin-left:8px;
background-color:
#006699!important;;
}
.td-social-stumbleupon{
margin-left:8px;
background-color:
#eb4823!important;;
}
Now here’s what I could use help with:
1. How to have Stumbleupon sharing open a new dialog rather than taking users out of the site?
2. Left spacing for Stumbleupon button is uneven – I wasn’t able to fix that by decreasing the left spacing via CSS
3. Which files should I tweak to add these buttons to the bottom sharing bar and the mobile theme?
Thanks in advance!
