Hi all,
For the following post, the editor used direct html code for font size (<span style=”font-size: 24pt;”>)
http://www.musiccorner.gr/best-of-2014-100-songs-3-114308/
That has a side effect for mobile view, “loosing” a part of words in cells.

I’m wondering if there is a trick to bypass the html font size and have a clear mobile view.
Best Regards!

Fun fact: it works on mobile, but not on desktop (no matter what browser) :-/

Hi guys,
I am very happy with the theme, but there a few things that should be better. I hope you solve/add these things in a future update…
For example:
1. There is a way to change the background color of the footer, but there is no way to change the text color like in the sub-footer:

2. When I am using menu’s in the footer, the top margin of the menu title is not equal to the top margin of other module titles:

3. Big gap between menu titles in mobile version:

4. Menu widget title background color is not editable in theme options panel.
5. Possibility to disable/enable ‘more from author’ and ‘related articles’ on single page individually.
6. Slider title in mobile version missing:

7. Footer menu title background is bugged:

Hi,
When I used Newspaper and had a floating banner ad to left of inline content, when on mobile it would center. Newsmag does not do this. How can I center the inline ad when on mobile, but allow it to show properly floating when on desktop view.
Thanks!

Hi and Happy New Year,
I have two problems and I need your help and advice:
1) Ι have two sites with Newspaper Theme : http://www.alexiptoto.com/ and http://constantinoupoli.com/ .
The first has 4.6.1 version and the other one 3.8. I do not update it cause I have a problem with greek letters.
In both I have enable GREEK EXTENDED SUPPORT and just GREEK SUPPORT and in some devices like INEW Mobile (not all) the letters look like black boxes. In constantinoupoli.com 3.8 everything looks fine in all devices.
2) I have a bandwith problem on my server and I try to reduce it. I post every one hour an article on http://www.alexiptoto.com/ . Do you suggest and plugin which can help?
Also can you send me the code for expire headers that you advice for the theme to add on htaccess file???
Thank you!
and, I have a problem mobile visual like this.

big slidebar image isn’t optimize for mobile.
please help me!
After setting up my page and using the YouTube playlist, the player does not play on my cell phone. I have an Android (Samsung Note 3). Please help.
Hi there!
I am having trouble hiding the sidebar on mobile. I am using the visual composer wigetised sidebar. I have added the following css from a few earlier posts:
@media (max-width: 767px) {
.post .td-main-sidebar {
display: none;
}
}
It is still showing up. I am using the infinite-scroll within a block13.
Thanks!
– when you hover over the background ad, the cursor hand doesn’t appear – so you can’t tell the area is clickable
(someone said this on the newspaper forum, I tested it with newsmag and it has same problem)
– on my mobile phone (nexus 4) if I’m reading an article with more than 3 pictures and I tilt/rotate the phone – the pictures will get all messed up with the alignment and text. The pictures shouldn’t stack next to each other when you rotate the phone. (Strangely, this doesn’t seem to happen on the newsmag demo page).
see pic: http://i.imgur.com/1lsaGPK.jpg
– If I change fonts from the default to something else, like open sans, I will get 20% lower Yslow grade on gtmetrix.
Hello,
I was wondering how I can change the mobile display of our website. Presently it is like this :
http://www.screencast.com/users/omnipundit/folders/Default/media/bde94e22-abc9-43c1-bc3e-91ea6e83f9cb
but I want to change to :
http://www.screencast.com/users/omnipundit/folders/Default/media/a450f9e4-0577-4061-946b-dbdbd45ba09e
So basically want to make image bigger(no excerpt) for mobile display. But at the same time I want to keep Block 6 for desktop (with excerpt). I have seen it done by lot of websites with same theme. Can anyone help me with the perfect block I need to use for Mobile display. Can we use two different blocks for two types of display?
Thanks,
sirfanik1
Ok, try without any plugin. Create footnote with normal hyperlink. In mobile it does not work

Hi,
I have tested this and haven’t found any issues. The desktop logo doesn’t appear on mobile when you use header style 8 so you need to add a mobile logo like I suggested.
Thanks
Looks like there an error on the hyperlink. If you create footnote, it does not work either.
I also have table of content plugin that does not work in mobile. When I change to different theme, then it works perfectly in smartphone.

Hi,
Please edit td_menu.php for more subcategories on mega menu and change this value: http://screencast.com/t/8W8tr3V6f and for mobile: http://screencast.com/t/Qbh8JUaENhX
Thanks!
Hi,
I have problem with recent comment widget on mobile. I have checked the demo – sport style. When I select one of the recent comment with smartphone, it only goes to article but not to the actual comment permalink.

Hi,
I haven’t been able to access your site, it redirects to google. Regarding your issue please make sure you also add an logo or the same logo for mobiles liek this: http://screencast.com/t/fbfsuPzFBjvB
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
Sorry for the delay!
The theme was designed to be responsive so you don;t need to use a plugin. This happens when you use a mobile theme. Unfortunately this is how the theme works as it uses the same code for all screen widths styled via css which means that changing a pages content affects all screens, mobile also.
You can find more info about this here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-template/#post-27060
Thanks
you must be smartlist 2 update, very important.
mobile optimization really good : http://imgim.com/9437inciz145113.png

Hi, when I use the Style 8 menu my logo disappears on mobile version. I do have a .png logo. See Site: Here
i just discovered, short codes are not working on the mobile edition of this theme, i use mobile press, and here you could take a look at the mobile view :- shoutershub.com/nielsen-the-best-wordpress-e-commerce-theme/?mobile and the Desktop View:- shoutershub.com/nielsen-the-best-wordpress-e-commerce-theme/?nomobile it makes my articles not intresting
Full desktop works on “mobile” tablets, like iPad.
It would be illegible on a phone.
This is how responsive design works; you typically have three sets of breakpoints for desktop, tablet, and phone.
You can modify those by editing the style.css file, remove elements, etc.
So, you could experiment with that to get what you want, but this is a responsive theme, designed to provide the best experience on mobile phones of only showing a single column for better PageSpeed and ease of use for phone users. The iPad/tablet view shows the full site, just condensed in width.
