Hi,

as you can see i setup the flex block 3 with a category (that contains 4 video article) but the frontend (and also the backend) doesn’t show anything.

https://paste.pics/HX05L

i double check the category and i have one with that id and is populated by video articles.

But …

i try also to modify the flex block but unfortunately it show posts only when i set the filter to “all categories”.

Thanks

Images are not displaying for WooCommerce products on mobile device and also getting “There has been a critical error on this website” message at the bottom of the page. This is happening for all products. Desktop version works perfectly.

Here is an example: https://homecoming.knoxvillecollege.edu/product/knoxville-college-homecoming-registration-2021/

Newspaper version 11.5.1

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

I wanted to add my own ads between paragraphs in articles. I used the guide:

https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-other-ads-non-adsense-ads/

Unfortunately, on mobile devices, it does not hide dedicated graphics from higher resolutions. It displays all one below the other. As if it wasn’t styled.

I temporarily put one picture for all devices:

<div class = "td-all-devices">
</div>

However, this is not a solution and I want to fix this problem.

It may result from the “tagDiv Mobile Theme” plug-in installed.

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.

From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Documentation here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/
Note that you can not customize AMP so much, because it comes with its own design.

About the page speed, please check this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-page-setup-and-peformance/

Thank you!

Hello,

I have made my site and it looks good on every viewport that I can choose on the tagdiv editor (Desktop, Landscape, Portrait, Phone). The problem is when I make my screen width less than 767px, the mobile design kicks in. The screen is too big for the mobile device and it looks weird. I would like for the mobile breakpoint to be around 500px.

How can I do that?

Thank you,

Hi,

I have been in AMP transitional mode for a while the redirect mobile visitors to AMP.

I have the mobile version of the site installed & looks like I can access it here:

livingunrefined.com/?mobile

I notice none of my mobile pages are indexed anywhere, yet the AMP pages are indexed in search console.

None of my mobile pages seem to get any views from analytics.

Should I just move over to AMP standard now?

Also I am curious, when I use google page speed analysis for an AMP link like:

livingunrefined.com/?amp

The page score for desktop is 99, wherease the page score for mobile is only like 81. What is happening here?

Hello I have managed to fix it so thank you very much for all your help. I have a small strange problem now tho. I have made a footer on my page that I am really happy with but for some range reason on my football page the footer is not showing it on mobile its showing my old footer. But every other page and post is perfect except for the football page. Do you know what the problem could be very strange for it to only be happening on football thanks

Hi

I have disabled the AMP Plugin too
Now the images are loading but the hole design on mobile device is changed (front as well as the articles itself) it doesnt look anything like the desktop version. What can we do? Should we provide you with admin login?

This is very disappointing, we need to fix this now.

Hi,

I see AMP is used on the website, and all mobile visitors are redirected to the AMP version.
Please disable also, the AMP plugin.

Thank you!

Hi Annamaria

Thanks for clarifying.
It solved some issues but also still some are remaining.

Front Page on Mobile now looks quite good but the logo in the header semes to change the size while loading or refreshing the page. I tried to delete the element and add the logo again but can’t figure out what is causing the issue.
Here you can see a short video of the problem:
[video src="https://pixelnews.ch/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/video_2022-07-29_08-16-37.mp4" /]

Further the header titles of each section are not visible. But they have been set accordingly to the documentation of the theme:
https://pixelnews.ch/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Unbenannt.png

Further and outmost my biggest issue is still remaining:
If I click on a article on a mobile device it is fully brooken
– images are not loading
– header with logo is not showed properly
– video is loading but no images
– color and fonts are way different than on desktop version
– related articles and footer are just plain text, no images
See scroll-screenrecording here https://pixelnews.ch/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/video_2022-07-29_08-33-50.mp4

and a classic screenshot here: https://pixelnews.ch/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/photo_2022-07-29_08-32-12.jpg

Please advice, we need to publish the site asap

Hi,
The WP Super Cache need to be set like in our guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also this option “Mobile + AMP” means that the mobile theme layout will be used for mobile and amp version.
Also, for sucuri.com please check this guide -> https://docs.sucuri.net/website-firewall/troubleshooting/troubleshoot-cache-issues/ -> https://i.imgur.com/U1ZigLD.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

For the mobile section, the settings are in Theme Panel.
The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social Networks -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/4wubwgL.png remove/edit them after your needs.

Thank you!

HI,
Please check if you have the mobile theme plugin activated, if yes, please disable it.
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.

Thank you!

Hi, my site fitbabu.com had 3 H1 tags on homepage. But I just disabled H1 on logo both on header and footer and also on mobile template.

Now it shows 1 H1 tag on home page “FITBABU.com”. But for SEO, I need to edit or change this tag. I tried edit on header.php on cpanel but it didn’t work. Can you please help me change the H1 tag?

Hello, I have problem with the mobile mode (which is separate separate mobile mode )
The vertical (normal view) mobile mode works well. Both: in the editor and in real life on the phone.
Horizontal view is okay represented only in the editor: looks ok

And when I look horizontally at the phone in real life, everything is ruined:
looks bad

Also, for some reason I can’t edit the horizontal format – I change the values in the editor, but nothing happens in real life. In fact, everything looks ugly on a phone, but when in the editor it is all smooth and beautiful.

You can see a horizontal mobile view here if you want

Hello team,

I have installed Newspaper on my test site, before using it on my real site.

I have disabled Lazy Load in the theme (Newspaper options). Lazy Load is also disabled in the cache plugin (LiteSpeed). But the first image (featured image in articles) and the logo do not load automatically. They only load when I scroll on the mobile. This problem happens on mobile.

Example of the error (see in mobile): https://cutt.ly/IZhom04

I have tried disabling Wp’s native LazyLoad, but the problem persists.
