Hello,
I’ve noticed that Wp Super Cache doesn’t cache pages of TAGDIV mobile plugin. Do I have to check some options in Wp Super Cacche or TAG Div Mobile Theme?

Hi,

If you want to have a different content on mobile on pages, then you can use the mobile theme plugin and set the content for the pages in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/OF5HphC.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want only to chnage the layout you can use tagDiv Composer and flex blocks -> https://i.imgur.com/dreZX9M.jpg -> https://i.imgur.com/RyfMc4u.png

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

AMP - reply

Hi,

We recommend to use the mobile theme with amp , unfortunately for the moment you can not customize the mobile or amp layout, for the moment this can be done only with custom work.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

If this block is in a page, you’ll need to edit that page with tagDiv Composer, click on that block, click on mobile version -> https://i.imgur.com/k4e4LkC.png -> https://i.imgur.com/mgxtNM4.png, this will work only if you are not using the mobile theme plugin.

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se

Also the grids can be set from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/UNgtmDU.png

Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hello !

Your website is cached and is showing the Mobile Theme. Please clear your cache and try again. We recommend using the WP Super Cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Hi,

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.
Also please notice that the theme support do not include any custom work -> https://i.imgur.com/4hGuO0J.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/
Also if you are using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll need to set the page content in mobile editor -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

If you are using the mobile theme plugin, you need to check the settings from theme panel > mobile menu -> https://i.imgur.com/bKLYCWc.png
Excerpts introduction -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/
Also if you are referring to excerpt on latest articles from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/AnRNAbV.png these blocks do not have an excerpt.

If this is not what you mean, please provide some more details.
Thank you!

Hi,

Usually when the mobile version appear on all device is a plugin or cache problem, in the most cases this problem appear when you are using the mobile theme plugin with untested cache plugin.
As cache plugin we recommend WP Super Cache Plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

Hi,

We do not try that version of php, but we try other versions and these works good -> https://i.imgur.com/AckQit3.png
For what I can see the problem is for the amp version set with the mobile theme, if you want you can make a full backup and send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. We will take a look. Include a link to this topic in the email.

Thank you!

what do i need to do to get custom page templates i have made appear on the mobile version of my site?

For example, I have one set up on this page (https://mindfullivingnetwork.com/daily-dose-of-inspiration/) and also the main page (https://mindfullivingnetwork.com). They appear fine on a desktop, but the mobile version shows nothing – it’s like it doesn’t know my template file exists… I copied the page.php in the mobile directory, /wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/, and named it the exact same name as the file in the non-mobile directory, /public_html/wp-content/plugins/themes/Newspaper, and the desktop works fine. I made sure the new page in the mobile directory also has the template name (<?php /* Template Name:InspirePageTemp */ ?>) as the first line.

Please help. I am also using custom category pages for a few categories (i know these are different than templates) but when I copied the single.php from the mobile folder, renamed it accordingly and edited it, the mobile site shows those category pages, but the template pages are not working… please advise.

i have made 4 images, 2 for each pagem the mobile and not, so yu can see what I mean… The links are:

Hello,

I was wondering if there’s a way that I can design a new layout for iPad screens that wouldn’t affect how it looks on desktop screens or mobile screens.

For example,
I like the design I make on desktop and mobile.
But I want it to look different on iPads.

As far as I know it looks kinda similar on iPads and desktops.

Currently,
On desktops: I have three columns.
On iPads: I want to have only two columns and move the third column down below.

Hope this makes sense and is doable.

Thanks!

Hi,

i’ve tried reinstalling the tagdiv composer plugin by going thru the following steps

1) removed the tagdiv composer plugin folder via ftp
2) download the new tagdiv composer plugin from themeforest theme full package
3) reupload the new tagdiv plugin
4) reactivate the plugin

BUT, im still facing issue saving the setting from the theme panel.

Also, my mobile logo is extremely HUGE, but i have uploaded the correct size.

anyway you can assist me?

So there’s nothing I can do to enable excerpts in mobile version? Even with the td mobile plugin?

fregini

I have the same problem and from you answer I still can’t understand how to get excerpts on the mobile version.

I’ve installed the mobile theme plugin but nothing seems to have changed.
I’m using M10 to display posts in the category list.

Hi
My website kentnews.online is displaying the mobile version on all devices, including desktop.
The site is also running really slowly.

I tried to install the Blog2social plugin so I could export images to social media but it did not work so I uninstalled it again, so im not sure if this is related or not?
