Hi.
On the test website:
web: https://www.staging1.teleponent.cat/wp-admin
user: serviciotecnico2019
pass: serviciotecnico2019

I have the AMP plugin installed.
What I want is that the news in mobile version look like the example:

Video without side margin
example without margins

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pg-G_ZlocP1jaiDWgtGGGjWsIvm0IsHJ/view?usp=sharing

(It’s the one I need)

Video with margins
example with margins

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SyRZRIwEi1kBjqpT5RqJIMN-oozo9Nun/view?usp=sharing

(Sale por defecto y lo quiero cambiar)

If it is not possible.
Can I set up a responsive cover with the version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin?

Gracias

It works now indeed but when I check on my mobile device, this is not the AMP Url that is shown…

Is it normal ?

Hi,

1. You could enter content in the about us section, it can be entered here
http://prntscr.com/mzhpeh
Or I could give you a code to remove the “About us”, enter it in the mobile theme custom CSS section in the theme panel – http://prntscr.com/mzhqn3

.td-footer-description .block-title {
display: none;
}

2. That is not possible, unless maybe you make a modification like this – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/latest-article-mobil-theme/
The mobile theme doesn’t have many settings at the moment, we will add more in coming updates.

3. The WP Super Cache plugin should work properly with the mobile theme, other caching plugins could cause problems like you are describing. If possible please try and use this caching plugin.

However something unusual is happening in the website, I can’t seem to access the non-AMP version of the website, the URL is always /amp for some reason.

Are you using the mobile theme and official AMP plugin? – https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

Thanks

Hi,

So the entire page is grey? quite unusual. I could take a look at it, please post a link to the website.

The mobile theme has it’s own menu setting – http://prntscr.com/mzglr9
So on mobile the menu set there will display.

Thanks

Hi,

I have checked your website on the mobile device and it seems that your Social Sharing Icons are correctly displayed as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/JCdYfchzH6ZH Try to clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.

Thank you!

Hi pesimist57,

1)Unfortunately, I do not exaclty understand what do you mean though side menu on mobile theme. This plugin only displays the hamburger menu, like this -> specific on mobile devices. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/aatmcVaV
2)If you want to display some custom section when you are using the Mobile theme, notice that you need to edit the theme core files, where the Mobile Theme is created and change the main functionality.
3)Regarding on Newsletter, please notice that we have our own built-in functionality regarding this and also, we do not recommend using another untested plugin for this. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
4)If you want to change the category in Mobile Theme, you need to edit the code where this functionality is created and change it with your desired category. If you want to make this change, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com so I can point you in the right direction where exaclty you can make this modification through the code.

Thanks.

Hi,

You got that errors on those pages because you have some code for auto ads that are not use -> https://validator.ampproject.org/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fvizartpandey.com%2Fabout-us%2F%3Famp

Please make sure that you have set the auto ads only in Mobile theme Amp Ads -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2BzLqi0MI3 please make sure that you do not set any code in theme/plugin files for auto ads.

Thank you!

Hi,

Please notice that if you want to have the AMP valid on your website, you need to enable it together with the Mobile Theme. For more details, please check here -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/

Thanks for your understanding!

Simion this error is due to WPBakery Page Builder…

who uses js composer displays it…

you need to adjust js composer or the mobile theme to solve…

Thanks!

Hi,

If you want to load some ads other than the Google Adsense when you are using the AMP, notice that you should add the Ad Code in the Mobile Theme Ads section, from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/mG8kFlnWE

Thanks for your understanding!

Simion,

now is ok because I have turned off ‘SHOW ON AMP’ in the mobile plugin…
to avoid penalisation by google…

in this way however the page amp is without css

The problem is caused by js_composer (wp Bakery plugin).

I’ve been writing the problem for over a week.
Please solve

Thanks!

Hi,

Unfortunately the new version of Newspaper v9.6 have an issue -> https://prnt.sc/mupdgl in order to fix it you’ll need to make the above changes in mobile plugin, and set the settings from screenshots.
If you didn’t those changes, soon ( this week or next one) will be a new update that will fix those problems.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi! Once again about AMP and generally about traffic from mobile devices. In my opinion you should start thinking about mobile as a most important goal. In my case mobile generate about 68% traffic, but if I make any campain on social media this rise up to 90%. This is how we living and we must accept this. In “Newspapper” theme, mobility is treat an add one. Maybe it’s time to change mind set? What is your opinion?

Hi,

The mobile theme will not show a drop-down arrow unless the menu is a drop-down
http://prntscr.com/mze6plhttp://prntscr.com/mze6we
You can create a menu in this way and select it for mobile, that would be the solution
http://prntscr.com/mze7nq

Thanks

Hi,

The mobile theme will not create additional thumbnails, it will use thumbnails already created by the main theme – http://prntscr.com/mzdzm7
Changes to this functionality could only be done directly in the mobile theme files, these will have to be done again after a theme update when the plugins will be updated as well.

Thanks

Thanks for your response Catalin. In the demo you clicked on the Icon and that was my reference for it actually working as the video pop up should.

It’s the Button that has the bug on all devices. On mobile it is most problematic because the browser scrolls all the way up leaving the popped up video below, out of view. On desktops you at least get to see the pop up video, you just see the website snapping all the way back to the top in the background.

The problem is not just limited to one browser as well. I tested it on Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Lastly, to be thorough I also tested it on a fresh install on a subdomain and it has the same bug.

Hopefully you can help me out 🙂
