Hi,
1. Please provide some more details about the way you get the red bar on the top of your website, please make sure that is not a plugin conflict, because, I can not find it, maybe is from your device or maybe there was only a cache problem -> http://prntscr.com/oi9ft1 -> http://prntscr.com/oi9gl0
2. This button appear for social share buttons -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-default-templates/
3. Those numbers appear automatic because you are using smart lists, you can check our documentation for smart list here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-lists/
4. The blog speed is very slow because you need to optimize your website speed, please check this topic where you can find all the information you need to increase your website speed.
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/speed-7/
5. Please notice that we recommend to use the WP Super Cache Plugin because this plugin was tested with our theme and is working properly, also I do not think that is a good idea to have active more then one cache plugin, if you want to use the “WO Rocket” you can make a test with it to see f this is working properly.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
There are a few cases when there could be such errors. The most common one is happening due to the Facebook pixel code or plugin – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-errors-6/
It can also be caused by optimization plugins, as in this case

Hi,

Hi,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us, you could check some of them

Hi,
My website is Constrofacilitator.com
As per gtmatrix.com and woorank.com javascript and css in my web needs to optimize to get the faster web priview.
you can check the detail here for woorank.com https://www.woorank.com/en/review/constrofacilitator.com
and gtmatrix here https://gtmetrix.com/reports/constrofacilitator.com/CryVsNFh
Kindly update me in this issue
Hi Simon,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I’m extremely concerned and upset that this theme was allowed to release updates that included such a crippling and significant step backward in functionality. There are companies that have built entire lines of business around this product, and such big (negative) changes can have tragic results. We depend heavily on this, the most basic of theme functionality. To discover that it was overlooked is quite shocking. I’ve never encountered a theme that took away the ability to modify posts templates as part of an “update.”
I don’t want to go into specifics, but a large scale project that has been in development for months that was scheduled to launch this week was just completely derailed by this oversight. This is far more than an inconvenience.
We’ve already built multiple products around your theme, and so far we have loved it. But this significant change really bit us.
So the big question is what are our next steps?
We are not able to wait for future versions of the theme to address this oversight, as we need to release on time or risk significant losses.
We are not able to roll back to an older version of the theme, as that would set us back days and undo a lot of hard work, which we don’t have time for.
I don’t want to hack a custom solution that will prevent us from updating to future versions of the theme, since we need to keep it up to date for security reasons. So whatever we come up with ideally needs to be future-proof.
Here are our basic needs:
We need to be able to identify posts of a certain category, and then modify the post to do the following (based on Custom Fields values inside the post)
Enable/disable the following post elements:
Title, Date Display, Featured Image, Social Links, Related Posts. These can not just be toggled via CSS as we need to optimize load times.
We also need to inject unique custom html (which will contain meta data, CSS, javascript, tracking codes, pixels, etc) into each post for a specific category. This HTML is also sourced via Custom Fields values.
Without those abilities we can’t launch. This was something we could easily tackle in our other Newspaper theme installs.
I’m looking into using the “add_filter” method to process the posts to strip out HTML elements based on the Custom Fields values, but have yet to find a way to make this work. I’m also looking to do the same for injecting the HTML.
Further complicating things is the fact that we did not budget (from a time, resource, or financial perspective) adding additional development to this project, since we are basically re-instancing an existing product build.
I’m hoping you can help advise us here.
I do appreciate your feedback, and hope we can find a solution to this issue.
Thanks again!
Hello,
Could you check my development site clone for live site, Marketwisetrader.com?
The dev location is; ‘mkdv.meta-morphos.es’
I’ve optimized the site with plugins, and deleted all unneccesary plugins, posts, and pages, but on GTMetrix it still gets a D/D score.
Another Tech Support person said that the site seemed to be demanding excessive resources for the initial loading.
Could you tell me why and how to improve the loading speed?
Thank you,
Lon K
Annnnnd I seem to have fixed it. Can’t tell you what happened or how I fixed it. I stripped all the plugins intended to optimize the website. I have the mobile menu back and the entire website is loading faster. Weird.
Hi,
The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
Also for the 3 blocks, you’ll need to have set same feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
Or you can use the responsive version of the theme.
If you want to optimize the speed of your website please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-load-speed/
Thank you!
Hi there, i have 2 problems with the sidebar menu:
1) With the regular theme:
The sidebar menu works fine, but the arrows to go into the subcategories are not there anymore like in Newspaper 9.0.1 that I used before. How can I activate them?
2) With the mobile theme:
When I install the mobile theme, the sidebar does not open anymore. I have read already about it that it is probably due to another plugin. I suppose that it is either Autoptimize or Async JavaScript. Do you guys know any settings for those 2 plugins so that the sidebar will open like it does with the regular theme?
Hello,
The developers have created a mobile theme so as to optimize the layout for the small screen devices. Looks superficially great.
But when we use cloudflare CDN and cache plugins like WP-Rocket, etc, they store the cache of a website and show it to all the users regardless of their screen sizes. This is very embarrassing.
Here’s what I mean.
The cache plugins and cloudflare knows no difference between the screen sizes because they do the caching for the domain name or the URL and not the screen sizes. So I can’t really understand the thinking of developers behind creating this plugin. Didn’t they know that people use cache plugins for speed optimization and the cache shows only one layout for all the screens.
If any of you people can provide a solution, then please. Because I’ve been trying to get out of this turmoil for two days with no results. I want to use amp + mobile theme and I also want to use cache plugin with Cloudflare. But I only want to show the mobile theme + amp to the mobile devices not everyone.
I hope you have a solution.
Hi, our website is loading images slowly on mobile devices. We’ve ran the site through google page speed tests and optimized several areas of the site, which has helped a lot, but loading several images on the home page of the site is still the main issue. According to the google page speed test, they recommend changing the images to different formats / compressing the images, but doing so on the images makes the images display poorly. We have a few questions about this issue:
1) Have you encountered a similar issue to this with this theme and the images before, and if so, what would you recommend we do to increase the site’s page speed for mobile devices?
2) Is there a way to load a different version of the site for mobile devices? For example, instead of the site’s home page loading 30 stories with images, can the theme detect that it’s a mobile device and only load 5 stories?
3) Another small issue that we’ve found with this theme, the print button is not working when clicked. On any article page in the social sharing section after the article content, the Print button just moves to the top of the page instead of printing the page.
Here’s the page speed results:

Thanks for your help!
Hi,
Please note that SEO optimization is not a very easy process which might take a while until to receive some good results. Please note that our theme is SEO supported but you will need to optimize it if you want to achieve better results. You can try to take a look over the next useful guide from here -> https://neilpatel.com/blog/seo-website-audit/ -> https://seo.co/audit/ Also, if you are using some untested plugins which might affect this case, it is recommended to be disabled and use only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core files.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello !
The child theme was affected in the last updates due to the new reglementations of Envato:https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/ The most important files from the child theme lately are style.css and functions.php, other modifications can be achieved using the theme panel.
Normally our child theme should remain the same after updates. But depends on the updates. 9.7 was a major update and that’s why there were so many issues with our users.
Yes, in the next update the child theme will be better optimized for Newspaper Theme.
I hope you understood our point of view and it’s clearer to you !
Thank you !
Hello,
I keep getting this notice ( even though this plugin is supported and recommended by you). when I disable it, I get the same note with another plugin. So not sure what is going on?
Also, I use site ground optimizer, and I still get the notice: No caching plugin detected – for best performance we recommend using WP Super Cache ( is it a most to use this one?)
Kindly help,
Thanks,
Caesar
Hi,
Please note that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. First of all, you will need to check the image size and try to optimize them if you want to bring good theme results. Also, note that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. Thank you for your understanding!
Quick update, I went through all of my plugins and discovered the error was being triggered by SG Optimizer (Siteground Plugin). By unclicking the Minify Javascript button, it fixed the problem.
With that said, is there a preferred pluggin for minifying javascript?
Thank you.

Hello !
Due to Adsense’s new reglementation you will have to disable the optimize option from Google Adsense Account. Take a look here: https://prnt.sc/nc11h0
Let me know if this helped !
Thank you !
Hello guys.
I got a problem on showing posts.
All the posts used Post Template 10 just display the same video. The title and content of these post are different, but the video (youtube link) always show only one of them.
I have removed all cache plugin (W3 Total Cache), Autoptimize… but the issue is not solved.
If I change the post to other Post Template (default, or Template Post 1), the clip showed as normal.
Are there any solutions to fix this?
Thank you.
Hi,
Yes, all that layout out can be make with Newspaper theme, also I’ve checked the beebom.com and this website that is build with our theme have made a lot of custom work/made.
tagDiv Composer -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/
tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/
Header manager -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
If you want to optimize the speed of your website please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-load-speed/
Thank you!
Please ignore this post, I used some optimization with WP-Optimize and refreshed my cache and it’s now good as before.
Dear, how can I correct this issue. I have activated the autoptimize plugin yesterday. Is it is causing the issue???
OR I have to install and enabled the mobile theme to correct this…
The installation of Mobile theme also not solving the issue…

@jkrobin We will try to optimize the cloud server so that this kind of issues don’t happen anymore. Until then there could be temporary issues such as this one. Pleas try again and it should work now.
Hi,
There was indeed an issue with the cloud server, we will try to optimize it so that such issues don’t happen anymore. Please try again now, it should work properly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
