Hi,

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Lately, Google Page Speed Insight seems to change the layout and is not always reliable. You should follow our useful guide in that case from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

Thanks for your understanding!

I created a website with the newspaper template 9. I have created 4 sections to position in Google with the h1 h2 and h3 defined but it appears in all the sections the same h1, it does not give me place to be able to optimize the seo of the web page . Could you please indicate how I could change the different h1 of the different urls? Thank you very much and greetings to all. I attached link to the website and its different sections.

Hi,

Only as admin we can investigate properly, other user roles can’t have access to the theme panel for example. This would be common practice in such cases, sorry if this offended you. It was not my intention to do so.

I remember trying to find solution to optimize the images served by Instagram, but no definite solution was found at the time

Thanks

Hi,

In posts as well, post templates can be built with the composer and the cloud library plugin. So the rows containing the post content and sidebar can be stretched, you can set custom widths, just like in pages.
Please check the guide carefully – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Also experiment with the cloud single templates here, preview and edit one to see what the possibilities are
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Single

Regarding reviews, only posts can have reviews. Use a cloud post template, set review elements from the composer which can be saved as shown. You will still have to add the actual review criteria in the post edit screen – https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/
Maybe this will change in the future so one can make the full review directly in the composer, I can’t say for sure at the moment.

Regarding the gutter, note that split rows have a column gap setting, so for example if the post content is in one column and the sidebar in another, that setting can be used to customize the space between them – http://prntscr.com/mhrv83

The featured image element can have a custom width as well – http://prntscr.com/mhrzm7
You can design the post template in any way you want. As a note, be sure to check how the template will look on other devices – http://prntscr.com/mhrzzi

About the ads, I made some inquiries and this will be looked over as soon as possible. It is true that no changes have been made or settings added for quite a while in this matter, this will change.

A header builder is now available in update 9.5, along the infinite load for posts which is a much requested feature.
In the footer you can display pages, here are some footer designs made by us
https://affiliate.tagdiv.com/#/load/Footers
So a builder would not be so necessary when the footer can be designed with the composer.

There are many plans to add new setting, but these take time to create and test. Gradually there will be more. Also we have plans to optimize the theme for increased performance overall, we have to be careful what is implemented in the theme having this in mind.

Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks

Hi, thanks for the update.. that was amazing having control to design my own header. But, updating to 9.5 slow down my blog even without using Header Template.

Based on GT Metrix, my blog full loaded time was 26 second and total page size increasing to 100%, even number of request was 135. That was the worst score I ever get.

I aware that, the problem comes from Header Template, because the theme fail to optimize images in Mega Menu and Header Categories List (shows backgrounds). I tried to regenerate Thumbnail, but it doesn’t work.

Disable Header Template and use usual Header doesn’t help.. the image still looking for optimize

here is my blog link https://irfan.id/

Thanks,

That element is from Google Ads.
Try disabling all the Google Ads to test your ‘page speed’ …

Also try testing your post on GTmetrix.com to see all the stuff you need to optimize.

I made sure the host (Netfirms) optimized the server per your instructions. And just before trying a different calendar app I did a complete backup, uninstall, reinstall with these results.

Hello~

How can I speed up my mobile site.

1. My mobile site speed is ‘3’ in ‘PageSpeed Insights’

https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpapacurator.com%2F

2. I did your guide

https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/

1) Enabling Gzip compression
: Already did in hosting service
2) Set the Leverage Browser Caching
: I did below code in .htaccess
3) Optimize images
: I use ‘EWWW Image Optimizer’
4) Use a cache plugin (WP Super Cache)
: I set WP Super Cache
5) Remove render blocking css/js –
using the TagDiv SpeedBooster plugin (advanced users)
: I tried but nothing changed

target ‘FILE-ID’

…td-multi-purpose/style.css?ver=72ece2d…
(papacurator.com) 68 KB 2,130 ms

code ‘FILE-ID’
$this->move_style_to_footer_queue(‘td-multipurpose’);

I will stay some 30 minutes more on the forum to get our best advice or everything that I should before. General Backup is done, I am trying to get this WP-Optimize plugin removing all the unused table in the DB … then … well …

Actually, it depends on the net speed of the user. In an average page speed, it looks quite slow for Newspaper Theme. I think Newspaper developers have to optimize the speed in next versions.
In Google Page Insight it is 22% from Mobile & 56% from Desktop. It is not good also for SEO.

So there is no solution to this? I travel often and it seems kind of odd that a theme optimized for mobile cannot be edited on said mobile device.

hello good night, I just want to ask a question, I do not know much about optimization, and I recently acquired the topic news paper 9, and I really do not know where I am, I tried to optimize it, and I could not, I think the topic is good, bad is that it has not optimized seo.

I hope you can give me a better resource to optimize it, before I was with mythemeshop, but I found this beautiful theme, and I moved for this page, and did not know the topics are not optimized. :(…

Hi,

Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.
Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
If you want to have more speed on mobile, you need to install the Mobile Theme plugin for this. This plugin was fully optimized for mobile and you should achieve good results. You can check our demo on mobile to see how it works from here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/
Also you need to decrease the Speed Index

Thanks for your understanding!

I have optimized most of the settings to boost my site speed by following the TagDiv PageSpeed guide. It quite improve the speed but also 40% by Google PageSpeed Insights. Please review on this and let me know how to get a faster speed. It’s causing problem to my visitors. Sometimes site is not opening in a low network speed.
