In order to see the archive template, you should import and assign one.

thanks but it seems not to be possible, what I need. I’ve created a “Text with title” element on my homepage. I’ve saved it as an element.
I’ve added the element to a different page, e.g. the search results template.
Now, I’ve changed the content in my “Text with title” element. I can’t save it as element with the same name, so I’ve deleted the element and saved it again.
I would expect, that the different page (search results template) would update the content automatically, since I’ve updated the shortcode. But this doesn’t seem to be the case? I would need to delete the element and add it again?

If you want to use the Post Templates which are in the Theme Panel, then please make sure you have the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin updated and activated.
Also, you can use a Single Post Template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you can customize the layout with tagDiv Composer.
Those styles/templates/blocks are from tagDiv Standard Pack, and this plugin is not required from version 10.4, because the new demos are using cloud templates.

The code is working, but you set the same icons, the code that I provide is with the current icons that are used, you need to replace them -> https://i.imgur.com/9pDIqdo.png
Also, if you want to add pagination, then this is not possible. The pagination is only on loop elements that are part of templates (page template, category template…)

The blue box that is used to select a template theme is in the way when I want to confirm the template. Is there a way to get around this so I can use one of the templates for a new page on my site?
Trying to upgrade from Newspaper 9.8 to Newspaper 11.4.1 and am missing all of our old posts templates, as well as most of the content blocks for pages. The posts template only has one available, and the content blocks have gone from about 60 options in the old version to only 15 options in 11.
I couldn’t find these in the cloud templates. What am I missing?
Hi, I’m creating some content for my sidebar. I want to display this content in several pages and templates. But I don’t want to copy the element(s) 1:1, I don’t want to maintain the same block/content in several places.
Therefore, I did “right click” > “save as element” and now I can use the element in my other templates and pages.
However, I can’t find a way to edit a saved element/shortcode.
Also it would be great if a saved element/shortcode would automatically update itself in the places (pages, templates) I’ve used the shortcode after I’ve editted the saved element.
So basically I want to:
- Save content as element
- Use the element in other places (referencing the original element)
- Edit the saved element
- Automatically update the references
Could you provide any input on this?

The page breadcrumbs are coming from the page template and you have set the “Page Builder + Page Title” -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ if you set the default page, the the page title and breadcrumbs are removed. If you want you can add the page title using tagDiv Composer .

I have created custom post type , but is missing the side bar .
my Newspaper – Theme panel Version is 11.4.
In Theme panel “Post Setting”
CUSTOM : Single post Template – Lifestyle PRO
is selected.
I haven’t done any manual code change it is child theme installation .

Indeed, the WP Rocket plugin is not official tested with our theme, but there are many users that use this cache plugin with our theme, maybe the are using the responsive version or the mobile theme plugin and not the mobile page template.
When you are using the mobile page template the layout will be display on the landscape and portrait mode -> https://i.imgur.com/gEvy6po.png
If you want you can make a test using the WP Super cache to see if you ca get better results.

Hi, thanks for quick reply.
We have enabled caching for mobile devices in WP Rocket plugin and yes we use mobile page templates that is included in Tag Div Cloud composer, but still we have inconvenience with loading mobile template on larger screens (as described in first massage).
Now we disable cache for mobile and its better now, but is there something that we can do to enable caching for mob? What do you recommend should we change caching plugin?

I imported a Pre-designed Templates for my homepage and I thought it will take over everything and replace the existing page completely, however my existing page is still there and the new templates is added in the end of my page.
Now I want to delete the newly added templates but I will need to delete those elements one by one and some of the elements are not delete-able…
Could you please advise how can I better control my page?

Hi Anamaria, that module is a module of the author – a short bio or description plus their name and social icons. That is not what I described or asked advice for. I need to use or create a module to display the author’s profile picture and their latest article (article category name, article title, article excerpt).
If I create a module from scratch, what is the best way to save it as an entity to make it reusable for future use? I am looking into some other way to do so than have it exist in a demo (hidden) template, and then copy that over to the page template I will be working on each time.

It seems that you use Mobile Theme plugin. The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates/design for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. If you deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin from Dashboard -> Plugins, then it will load your responsive version automatically(different layout than now, similar as desktop).

Gor Pages. Eg I have two Pages on the menu Bar as Menu Options “Blog-Articles” and “My-Speeches”. I have 30 posts under “Blog-Articles” which I put them under a Category with same name “Blog-Articles”. Then I have 40 Posts under the “My-Speeches” which I have put under same name category “My-Speeches”.
When someone clicks on the menu option “Blog-Articles” then all Posts under it will be displayed on the front page. When someone clicks on a Post here I want to display that Post in a particular way along with some other content, ads etc,
Whehn someone clicks on the front page on a Post of “My-Speeches” I want to display that Post in a different way.
I would like to attach one Single-Post-Template-1 to the Page “Blog-Articles” so that all posts there will be displayed as per this Single-Post-Template-1. I want to attach a different Single-Post-Template-2 to “My-Speeches” so that all Posts under it are displayed as per this template.

I do not know if I understand exact what you mean.
Do you have to have a different layout for posts or for pages that contain the posts?
For posts will be simple if the posts make parts from different categories, in this way you can assign a single post template for the posts that are part from a specific category -> https://i.imgur.com/DgxZtpv.png
If is about the pages layout, then those can be edited only with the tagDiv Composer.

I just made a test with the Molongui plugin and for me is working correctly, but for this you need to replace the block with the post loop element.

Normally, if the mobile cache support is enabled, then should be no problems.
Also, if you want to have different ads on mobile, then you can use the mobile page template(this is using the tagDiv composer) or the mobile theme plugin (this is using theme panel settings).
