I read that you can use the <!–nextpage–> code to paginate posts, but I am trying to automate this process.
I used the “Automatically Paginate Posts” plugin, which does automate pagination in posts, except that it destroys the cloud template styling. (In my case, the side content falls underneath the main post content.)
I also tried the “WP-Paginate” but not much progress in that.
Is there a plugin that automatically paginates posts that is compatible with the tagDiv Newspaper theme? Or is there some javascript code I can implement (and if so which file?) to do this?

I would like to add custom tag title and tag description in tag cloud template.
For example if tag is “car” I would like that:
Tag title is “Find new car”
Tag description is “Find your new car on our web site”
I am not talking about SEO title and description. I would like it to be on tage page.
I see there is Tag description element.
I hope it is possible to use dynamic element in some of the elements (HTML,….)

My site allows random users to submit content, which is stored in the wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables. We’re not creating WordPress accounts for these readers, so we store the name they give us as pen_name in the postmeta table. On a post page we’re retrieving the pen_name from the postmeta table and linking it to the authors page (a cloud template). This cloud template uses the Flex Block 1 module to display posts.
While looking at this block I see that there are options under Filter > Category Filter, we’re using the Author - Current Author option. I’m looking through the theme code and I see that option comes from here:
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_util.php (lines 2155 - 2187
and is implemented here:
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_block.php (lines 191-208)
What I’d like to find out is if there’s a way for me to inject a new option into that list, one that I would write myself. I’ve already written two new blocks, so I’m a little familiar with your API. I just don’t know if this is possible.

the problem is: When you import your theme settings to another site using Newspaper, you have to copy&paste the sourcecode of every page to the new site. Then you must create the blank template’s and copy&paste the templates to the news one. And then you have to create a blank mobile version and copy&paste also the sourcecode of the mobile one’s.
On my hosting provider (raidboxes) I can use dev-sites and staging-areas to handle this. Or you can use the plugin WP Staging. But it is still complex and error-prone.

Hi, I’d like to be able to export templates too, and import to another site using Newspaper – this way it would be possible to keep my development and test site at the same position as my production one. As @meremobil says, pasting the hash from one page to another doesn’t really work well at all. Thanks.
Hi, is there a way that we can lock the global header and block certain users from editing the footer?
We have many problems with especially new users to understand, that they can edit the footer from every page.
Problems occur especially here:
Header:
– New users have problems understanding that if you use an individual header on a page, that if you select it in the checkbox it will be made “global”
– New users have problems understanding that they don’t have to select “import-Header” to select this header.
Footer:
– it is very confusing, that we can not edit the footer in the cloud templates once it is created. We would love a possibility to edit the header ONLY in the cloud template – therefore it will be more secure for accidents happening on sub-pages. Is there any way to block the footer from being edited?

If you a Single Post Template from Cloud Library, then you need to edit the post with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/jHatJGC1qRf, select the Single Post Views => https://www.screencast.com/t/NhUGCRfI and with right-click, you can delete it.
If you have a standard template, then you can disable the post views from Theme Panel -> Post Settings -> Post and Custom Post Types => https://www.screencast.com/t/LAv90B5eZ

This is wrong: “Only the administrator and editor can do changes with tagDiv Composer and can save it. The other users can open it, but the changes made are not saved.” I can change as a author all templates in cloud templates or special pages (in pages) which one created tagdiv composer…

You didn’t that: “We will try in the future to implement the option to hide cloud templates for the rest of the users who do not have access to edit.” There is no update software for this important weakness in version 11.0

Hi! I’m using newspaper (craft template https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_craft_ideas/), and I would like to have an about me box the same as the home page on this template.
I have two things frustrating me:
The author of the page is not a real person, it’s the support person I paid for when I bought the theme. So, how can I:
a) change the author of the home page
b) create a very SIMPLE author template. I’ve been to Cloud library and it’s so complicated. I just want to be able to add a photo, my name and a small blurb. And I want it to look similar to the template linked above
I would be so grateful for your help as I’ve been at it for 3 hours and getting nowhere.

Is there a way to customize the default page template that I am missing? E.g. I have a background image set in the Theme Panel. But that makes the page content unreadable. It’s easy enough to customize post templates so that the post content is on a white background but there doesn’t appear to be to customize the default page template. Am I wrong? I know you can customize each page, but that doesn’t work for plugins that automatically create pages for user-submitted content. I want to keep my site-wide background image but have page content sit on a white background, if that makes sense.

I have not made any modifications from the original template.Just removed entries and add some test posts. This is a test site but the issue first occurred after the upgrade to version 11. I downgraded but the issue still remained. I am running version 11 now.

I have disabled my amp plugin , let me explain with an example I had an about us page which is being displayed normal on desktop, mobile . now I have installed mobile theme plugin and I have also created a new version of the same page for mobile . now when I view it in mobile except the title tag nothing is being displayed .
What should I do now ?
if I uninstalled my mobile theme plugin its getting displayed but my page speed is going down so is there an alternate option to fix this without uninstalling the mobile theme plugin .

I have to commend you first, the shop extension is great. However, there are a few small problems, especially with the WooCommerce waitlist.
The plugin doesn’t work if you use the composer for a product page. This is impractical, because we are dependent on the plugin. Although it works in the standard templates, a single product then looks anything but good.
Do you have any tips on how I can get the waiting list integrated if I want to use the Composer?
Oops okay, shortcode found, but a question remains. If a product is not available, the “add to card” button should disappear, which only confuses customers. Is there a corresponding possibility?
How can we define the product attributes? Such as the “size”? I created a size attribute but it’s not showing up on the td composer “woo add to cart” attributes tab section. I set it to “variations” also but to no avail.

Edit the homepage with TagDiv Composer, access Website Manager click on Header -> Mobile Menu(you should be able to see your mobile version in Composer now), and set your correct header as Global template, hit the button save.
If the problem is still there, then check in the theme panel settings if you have set up the logo from your mobile version and remove it (Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Header -> Logo and favicon).

One thing that you need to know before is that mobile pages which you use is not compatible with AMP at the moment.
Unfortunately, AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme, because it is not compatible with cloud templates.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit from AMP.

From what I see, it seems that you have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
