I am using (cloud) category template 1 for all of my category pages. Pagination is not working on either the main template or the mobile version. I am not using the mobile plugin. I just created mobile templates.
No matter what number I set “Limit post number” to, that is less than the total number of posts that are in a particular category, the pagination numbers/navigation will appear at the bottom of the category pages. However, every category page except the first one is blank other than the template parts such as ads, header, etc.. There are post excerpts, etc. displayed except on the first page.
The only way around this is to set the WordPress limit in Settings>Reading to some high number. In that case, if I set Settings>Reading to a high number (like 100) and set Limit Post Number in the Post Loop settings to blank, there will be no pagination and all posts in a category will display on the category page. That is unacceptable when categories have a high number of posts.
How can I get the category pages to properly display all posts when using pagination so that if I set the Limit Post Number to 6, the remaining posts above that number will show on page 2, page 3, etc. of the category results?

Hi, is it possible to design a custom Post template with Tagdiv, similar to how individual Pages can be designed?

I am trying to change the posts by Category filter with a sub category but it shows “No Post” although there are posts available in this category. When I select All Categories in the category filter then post appearing. This issue happens with all the Flex boxes. I am using Gossip template.
Currently one post appears twice in the home page. Site URL is https://news.cbshop.in
I have set up the author page on cloud template, and set it on theme panel successfully.
But when I click author box, it will bring me back to the home page.
How to fix it?

This will only help the homepage. Thank you for the same.
However, this wont help for the post pages? By default, all post pages get appended with this ad box. Its a big task to remove from each and every post. Since this is a template, all new post will have the ad box by default. Is there a centralized location to remove this ad box throughout the website?

I have performed the procedure to import the theme and templates. I lost a lot of time but the homepage is now the same as the test page where I had done the tests.
The problem is that the “single posts” and other articles are not changed and I cannot understand why. I copied the code from the test pages into the template categories, single post, date, etc. When I go to edit the page and then click save I don’t see the changes.
I tried in two ways: the first method I used is to go to the single post and then edit it (by clicking on save). Then I went to click on the single post but the changes were not applied. So I entered the individual templates (single post, category, etc.) and I made the change by saving but even in this way the change was not applied. I lost two hours of my time but I haven’t found a solution. I also tried to put back the standard code of the template, I then modified and saved but even in this way the modification is not applied.
To be short, the template remains the standard one of the theme.
What can I do? Can you help me?

I have been working on an update of my site for some time, and finished today. Only thing left was to change categories on some posts. Great was my surprise when I returned to main screen from categories for testing. When previewing a page it only shows the script inserted from Newspaper. Looking closer I realize the Newspaper has gone. Plugins are not there.
That is, not completely gone. The Welcome/Plugins/Support pages are there, but the theme is not installed in WP. I tried to close down and reopen. No effect.
So what to do?
Can I just re-enable Newspaper, since the script in pages is there?
Anything else? I have used a few Cloud templates.
The environment is Bluehost/staging. Newspaper V 10.3.8
PS. Hope this not happen when I go live..

If I understand correctly you want to have inline ads on all posts except RECIPES this an be done using different single post template from tagDiv Cloud library that can be edited using tagDiv Composer.
Using a different single post template you can set the ads only for the posts that is set that single post template.

Hi! I use newspaper theme panel to publish ads on the pages with articles. Newspaper has 13 post template styles for articles. Is it possible to switch off ads for some post template styles?

My 404 pages have always landed on the 404 template, but suddenly the URL just shows the homepage. Can you see what’s going wrong?

If you have only one header and only one footer template. You can edit them using website manager as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/0q51idUdiGD for the footer all you have to do is to scroll to the bottom of your page.
As for the update you have to make sure that there was no plugin conflict since this is not a normal behavior.

In most cases when you get a similar message “ Error at zones: 6(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)” then indeed it is a problem, most of the time the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme, therefore after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page/cloud template, the next time when you try to edit it, you’ll get that error.

thanks for the very detailed answer. I apologize to your colleague but I ask specific questions and I seek precise answers. Your answer was perfect.
So, I did some tests: I saved all the templates in notepad ++ with the name header, footer, date, category, etc. But I also saved the Home page code. Then I deleted the Newspaper theme by deactivating and then deleting the plugins and finally I cleared the cache (purge cache all).
At this point the site was virgin (clean).
I reinstalled newspaper and I uploaded the demo Magazine Pro.
I went to Cloud Templates and I replaced the code I had saved saved on each template (header, footer, date, category, etc,). Then I went to the Theme Panel and imported the code I had saved. However, this was not enough to have the whole theme that I had changed it. I only saw the correct header and footer. So I went to the pages and I opened the home page and I replaced the original code with the one I had saved from the modified home page. In this way I have revised the whole theme as it was previously. Is my procedure correct?
I have always done these operations on the test site and not on the Magazine where I have to export everything. I would like to know if the procedure I used is correct.

Background:
If I use tagdiv composer for adding new thing in the sidebar, I have to edit front page, category page and post sidebar separately. There is no cloud sidebar template either.
My Solutions:
I already known that there is only one way to create a global sidebar, which is setting up the sidebar widget and use it in Archive template. In this case, when I change something in widget sidebar, front & category & post sidebar follow the new change.
Problems:
However, there is a disadvantage when Widget compared to tagdiv composer.
Tagdiv composer can add row or empty space between elements but Widgets cant. In this case, the global sidebar is uglier than the tagdiv composer sidebar because elements(It calls widgets in widgets setting) stick together.
Is there any way to add empty space in widgets setting?
Hi Lacasito70, sorry for the late answer, I will try to explain as correct I can and if is something that I miss or understand wrong, please let me know.
First the problem with license, this one is easier. you do not need to buy an extra license if you use it for your testing website on sub-domains, staging, localhost (practical is the same website so you do not need to worry about this). As proof that will not be any problems we set info in our guide -> https://i.imgur.com/HtBSdxe.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/ therefore you can use the same license for test and live website.
Unfortunately, the only system that we have for import/export is the one for theme panel settings -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/ for a complete migration, you need to use a plugin or import/export database (there are more options, but are not so easies and for your website I do not indicate them).
To not damage your website the copy and paste method is the safer, it will take some long time, but the problems that can appear are reduce.
If I understand correctly you made some new templates (header, footer…) also you make some pages. If those were made only with tagDiv Composer without theme panel settings then it will be more easier, for example move one of your cloud templates from staging, copy the content from staging -> https://i.imgur.com/OJ5Yli3.png -> https://i.imgur.com/kdmxs0H.png (if you want you can use a blank template but it need to have the same type) -> then past the code -> https://i.imgur.com/LtiGzBt.png also please check your website after each transfer.
Also if you change the homepage layout, to not lose your seo, you can copy the current content in another page as backup and replace the content of old homepage with the new one and keep the same url.
Also if you create new templates and you successfully transfer, you need to assign them manually in theme panel.
Using the above methods all the blocks will be imported with the settings that are made.
Also I recommend to start with the cloud template first and make sure that all plugins from staging are enable on the online website and only after you set the cloud template copy the pages.

We have configured the newspaper pro template and we want to avoid that when being in a post and scrolling to the end of the page the next post is loaded.
