You need to check in theme panel > footer > footer settings -> https://i.imgur.com/z3JQNuU.png there can be three options, you can have set a footer template from tagDiv Cloud Library -> https://i.imgur.com/r5DInHz.png or you can have set a footer page -> https://i.imgur.com/V8gU4MB.png or a standard footer styles -> https://i.imgur.com/rb4GIOm.png
I think that you are using footer style 1, if yes, this is a premade footer and it can not be edited -> https://i.imgur.com/a2Cnksj.png therfore you can not edit the Popular Categories from that footer style, also that block will not display all the categories and only the most popular, if you want to edit the footer you can choose an empty footer and set the widgets you want in it -> https://i.imgur.com/dhVshoH.png -> https://i.imgur.com/WnezpeD.png or you can use a footer page.

I have checked all the things which has given in the link, you send to run the TD Composer and the Newspaper theme preperly. My System requirements are showing green marks in the required boxes. After all this still when I am clicking on edit with TD Composer option, I am getting this message,
“This site can’t be reached

Hi, I want to have the simple post design of the demo style of l’history layout, with sidebar, but my posts don’t have a sidebar, although I can see the in Cloud Templates, the Single cloud template (for posts) with a sidebar. But in front this is not noticeable. I don’t know why this happens.
In addition, when “uploading” in the post (with scroll or mouse) a module (tb-module-meta-info, in black square) is suddenly shown with the title of another post, which covers the entire height of the page, no metadata, no image. It’s very strange.

If you are using the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

when I want to change the footer templates or add a new element on a page I can select the template in the list but when I want to apply this template the selection page does not disappear – so I close it but I can no longer apply – the confirlation message appears very quickly then disappears
I tested on chrome – opera and firefox the result is the same
how can i fix this?

Well, the editor shows an empty page for the footer, which means that the content of the demo cannot be interpreted correctly. This also means that I cannot edit the content provided by the demo, which I think is definitely a problem.
I don’t understand the other part of the answer. If I want a central footer, are the “cloud templates” the right function for it or not? If I import a template from the “tagDiv Cloud Library” (eg “Footer Default PRO” from the demo), I have the same problem. The template can then no longer be edited with the editor.
So again my question: can the “cloud templates” still be used and if so, how do we fix this error? If not, what should we use instead. And finally: why is this problem with the primary demo?

“The current content hasn’t been created by TagDiv Composer” – that notice isn’t be the result of actual issues in most cases. If you can successfully edit the page or could template then there is no problem, despite the message.
It could also mean that the page contains elements that are not part of the tagDiv composer, or the page has been built with with a different method, this can create problems.
If you want to edit the footer, or the header, then you’ll need to edit it from a page, for example, you can edit the homepage, click on edit with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/uweNRrc.jpg after that go down to the footer end edit it how you want (now you can customize the the whole web-page from fronted).

If you want to use the modified date on post on responsive version of Newspaper theme ( not mobile theme plugin ) you need to use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library, because this option is only on templates from cloud, and set the single post modified date element using tagDiv Composer

Sorry, but for the moment only on pages and templates that can be edit with tagDiv Composer you have the possibility to set the awesome font, because these are loaded only in tagDiv Composer, sorry for the inconvenience!

I was able to remove it by changing the page template to default.
I bought a new license today and when I went to activate the theme nothing other than a continuous loop when I hit the ‘activate’ button occurred. On top of all of this, when I try and save any changes in the theme settings it will still get caught up in a continuous loop without saving and I cannot access any of the cloud templates or add a new one. The only thing that is on that page is an error message that reads ‘invalid reply from server endpoint’.

I have a page displaying a custom post type / custom taxonomy and it’s having several issues.
1) The page title which should be the custom taxonomy does not show up nor do the bread crumbs and I have the page template as “Pagebuilder + page title”. I have also configured the Custom taxonomy in the Newspaper Theme Panel.
2) No matter how I create the sidebar on this page the value that I believe should be the page title overwrites much of the text in the sidebar.

Hi, since last two weeks we have continuous problems of slowness with the page in addition to continuous errors “when establishing connection with the database”. We will launch the page on April 1 and we have another with another theme that does not give these problems, can anyone help us? Otherwise we will have to change the template and throw the two-month work overboard.

Please select tagDiv Builder Template from the theme panel or set a default template. The current page/post uses a template that is not editable.

Hi – there seems to be a problem while saving settings for “element”. I tried to change a title color in template but after setting a new color the “save” icon starts to load and it doesn’t stop. When I refresh the page I need to set the color once again and again I can’t save it. What may be the reason?

4. Our mobile theme plugin have 3 options:
Mobile – this will be apply only on mobile device
Mobile + Amp – this will apply the mobile theme template and functions on both, mobile and amp
Amp – this option will set the mobile template only on amp and on mobile will be display the responsive version of Newspaper theme.

6. Newspaper X is base on frontend editor, to can edit the whole website from the frontend using tagDiv Composer, the widgets were use for the backend builders, now when you can use the right click to save the elements and copy the style the widgets are no more necessary.

9. Indeed is not recommend to edit the pages/templates with other builders, in case you’ve done this you can use a revision of you page -> https://prnt.sc/oadfq4

You can setup your homepage using tagDiv Composer elements in order to link them to your categories.
