I am testing the EventON plugin. This one causes no issues with Composer as far as I’ve seen up to now (this is not a at all the reason I’m testing it, as I said before I am not that bothered by the Events Calendar plugin interference with Composer).
But I get to the same problem: how to customize the design of single events.
With these plugins you normally use:
- A calendar view, for which I create a Page and edit it with Composer to make it look like the rest of the site, adding a shortcode.
- A widget in a sidebar (for example), for which, again, I use an element with a shortcode.
- A single view for each event. This is the one I do not know how to adapt to my site design.
I create an event and it works alright, but the content is outside the “content” part of a template, between header and footer, so Composer does not recognize it and I can’t edit it.
As I understand it, there is no way I can turn this into a template to be able to edit a global template for all the events using Composer, right?.
So, is there any way I could accomplish this by editing the template files? and if so, which one would I have to edit? I am willing to use Newspaper as a child theme.

Sorry, will be more clear about this:
Creating a page in Newspaper template is different from creating a page in WordPress (block) editor.
So we have two kind of pages in WordPress
1. a page that is created with Newspaper composer elements
Displayes content that is configured by Newspaper composer elements
2. a page that is created with the WordPress (block)editor
Displays content as a standard individual page, with most of its layout not showing the standard configured composer elements layout.
What I would like to do is to create a page (image right), with content text (1) and surrounded by different composer elements (2,3,4,5,6) which are different from the same ‘page’ when created with a blog category article (image left) and part of the fixed Newspaper template layout. And _only_ for that specific WordPress page.
Reason for that is, that this (2) page can contain different configured composer elements.

Hello everyone,
I have installed the Newsmag theme and wanted to use the Tagdiv Composer to edit the various pages and make them look nice, but that doesn’t work. I can’t edit anything, only two AdSpots are active, everything else can’t be changed. I have installed “Magazine”.
What could be the reason for this or is it not possible to edit the start page, categories or article page in Newsmag and make it look nice, as it is in Newspaper with the CloudTemplates?
That would be a real shame if I couldn’t make the pages look nice 🙂

For each category, on the flex block there is a special filter for the current category, which dynamically displays the posts from that category within each category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category) https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/

@bettina, I´m asking about having this for Section pages.
The guide is about pages (homepage) but once I publish a template for section the de-duplication doesn´t work at all.

On my site I largely operate not on entries, but on “pages”.

For such pages I do not use the builder, but only the content and select sidebar.
Always such a page has a template selection in the admin panel “Template” -> “Default template”.
What file is responsible for how it looks like? Making changes to the file in the location themes/newspaper/page.php nothing changes – even though I type in “test” or whatever, the changes are not visible.
After configuring 3 ads within Single Post Content, they are not appearing on the single template page. However, outside the Single Post Content, ads appear. Any tips? Thank you in advance.

I thought that you only wanted to modify the main header.php file to remove the webpage schema. Removing this code https://prnt.sc/CCod3eD5L3Dg should not create any problems. I tested it as well.
But if you also want to modify the header template you are using, header template 6, in the child theme, then there are more steps.
You will need to create folders in the child theme, to create this path Newsmag-child\parts\header
In the header folder, copy these files from the same folder in the composer https://prnt.sc/Kk4W5YDy9dCc in the child theme https://prnt.sc/nd7KfivQ63O2 Then you can modify the header template or the other files.

This category page doesn’t have any cloud template and those blocks are made with Text with image, no block with filters. So you can’t use anything to sort them.

You have the mobile theme plugin activated; please deactivate it and clear the cache.

Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

I´m publishing a Category Template with TagDiv Composer and assigning it to one section.
On that template I have published many Blocks.
I´m having duplicated content accross the modules.
In the Homepage or other pages I have the option Unique Articles, but that is not the case of the Category Template.

Hi all,
we have another situation where we’re unsure how to proceed.
Basically, we have 2 Cloud Templates for author archives (Template1, Template2). Template1 is used as a default author archive template (pagename.com/author/id) while we want to use Template2 when users visit a custom page (pagename.com/columnist/id).
We cannot achieve this through the theme options because if we manually select the template to use for specific author then regardless of if the users visit /author/id or /columnist/id the same template will be used.
Is there a way to achieve this by calling a specific Cloud Template in the code when users visit the /columnist/id page? We got the redirects down in the PHP code but can’t seem to find a way to override the Cloud template used on the custom url.
By using the add_filter('author_template', 'custom_author_template_columnist');and inside the custom_author_template_columnist function we can see that template being called here by default is /themes/Newspaper/author.php but by changing this template nothing happens, because the priority of the templates being used it’s probably overwritten by Cloud Library or Composer plugin.
Further inspection using Query Monitor plugin we can see that template being called is wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/wp_templates/tdb_view_author.php but can’t seem to find a way to re-use that code in our child theme’s nor our custom plugin’s code where we have our custom blocks/modules setup.
We don’t mind hardcoding the template in php if programatically calling the Cloud Template is not possible.
Any help here would be appreciated.

I use custom fields in the Social Icon Shortcode on a single template page. They all work fine but not for the Extra (where I use a custom field dedicated to the E-shop url). In this last case, if the custom field is filled with a valid url, then it works well, otherwise if it is empty, it shows a link like this https://www.bereilvino.it/cantina/nals-margreid/, just the url of the page.
