Hi. I am currently using the Gaming Demo and its Homepage template. For posts, I am using one of the default post templates. As you know, all posts and pages share the same footer, but now I’d like to set a different footer ONLY for the homepage, just what like Pitchfork has done. What should I do to achieve it? Indeed the page is still slow. If you test your website using GTMetrix you will see that there are not much things to improve…
We recommend you to convert your website to full cloud library and pro layouts which means deactivating the standard pack plugin and replacing all the templates with cloud library ones. That should improve your website a lot.

So if you do not want to display the featured image inside the post, and you are using the standard post style, the you need to use on the post the style 5 or 12 -> http://prntscr.com/q3798t these do not have a featured image inside the post. Also if yo are using single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, the you can edit the template with tagDiv Composer and remove the featured image, on post that you do not want to have featured image set the post template from cloud that you removed the featured image.

I’m using the gadget theme(https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_gadgets/). Howto hidden the sidebar at single post page? I don’t want to make a cloud template.
I have a category (NFL) that gives me a category page gulklud.dk/nfl
Hpwever, I would like to customize gulklud.dk/nfl
And I don’t just mean using the templates and settings.
I mean I want to have a page named gulklud.dk/nfl that I can modify as I like.
However, right now the page is overwritten by the category.
Please help me understand how I can change this.

1. Those are menus which can be edited from wordpress by going into Dashboard – Appearance – Menus.
2. You will have to edit the header using the tagDiv Composer, select the Sticky Mobile Menu and remove all the content from it: https://www.screencast.com/t/tgQTMVi76R9

After installing Newsmag, my site experienced a fatal error. I logged in with recovery mode and deleted the theme and associated tagDiv plugins (one of the plugins was apparently responsible for the error). I then reinstalled the Newsmag theme, but now there is no footer page in the Pages section and no option to edit footer page in the Theme Panel. The footer shows up on the site, but there is no way to edit the content (except to choose a template or turn the footer on/off).
It appears the site has been damaged, but I can’t figure out how to remedy despite uninstalling/reinstalling the theme multiple times. What am I missing?

I have the same issue. The information about the Standard Package are somewhat confusing.
What I understand from it is, that if I want a faster website, I have to deactivate the Standard Package.
But on your website it still sounds like a good-to-have plugin: “For this, we’ve added a premium legacy plugin called Standard Pack. It brings you all the previous functionality of the Newspaper Theme. When you deactivate it, your website gains page loading speed.”
So I deactivated it. Then everything looked broken. So I switched from a normal Demo to a Pro Demo and built everything new while using templates from the cloud library. Furthermore I only used Flex Blocks. I used templates for all the sites I can. Then I deactivated the Standard Package. And everything looks fine now on the website. But on GTMetrix I get the same message similar to the one in the first post: “There are xx components that can be minified as below
inline <style> tag #x
inline <style> tag #x
…”
The only thing I can imagine is the template for homepage because I did not change that one, because I assumed it already is Pro because I use a Pro Demo.
Therefore I tried to load a Pro template for “Homepage”. I still get the same problem with GTMetrix. So it is not the template from Homepage.
Then I used a Pro Header, because maybe it is the header I thought, so I sent it through GTMetrix. Only the header, nothing else. And still it shows the same message but with less components that can be minified.
What am I doing wrong?

You can set on posts and categories “groups of ads” using the theme panel or cloud templates, but for pages, this can be achieve only if you edit all pages with tagDiv Composer.

Please notice that you can use only the page templates that Newsmag theme had, the file that you made can be adjusted only with custom work.

No, of course I’m talking about posts/articles assigned to only one category. And problem is not Category listing, but feature Next/Previous posts on Post view.
In your theme you could turn it on for whole web (Newspaper / Theme panel / Post settings / SHOW NEXT AND PREVIOUS POSTS – Show or hide next and previous posts (bottom of single post pages)
or put this element manually into Cloud Post Template (Add / Single Post shortcodes / Single Post Next Prev)
But in either case there are no setting options. And apparently your Theme uses default WP value, which is “same_category=false”, that means your theme will show Next/Prev posts just in date order, jumping from one category to another.
And my question is how to override such behaviour? Usually in profi templates is there always way through child theme functions.php, where you have to change same_category to true. But I don’t know how to do it in Newspaper theme – it depends on the code your programmers used.

The slider revolution can be set with tagDiv Composer on homepage, but the blocks from widgets will be removed without standard pack, the can be created now with tagDiv Composer on pages and Cloud Templates.

Please note that some of the old demos and templates were considered a dependency and will deactivate with standard pack. You will have to use only the layouts available once the standard pack is deactivated in order to convert your website.
When you will deactivate the standard pack all the older versions will turn out in a shortcode because they won’t be rendered anymore.
Some templates like the footer, homepage, author will create be created as a page. Find out more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
The settings haven’t changed that much. For instance you can install the Default PRO demo and start customizing it using the tagDiv Composer. All the layouts that will be inserted in the theme without standard pack should be fully customizable with tagDiv Composer.

I installed NewsMag4 V 4.9.1 for my site. I need to place banners to the left and right of the main content container (class “td-container”)
I created a custom page template based on “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination” in wp-content/themes/newsmag/template-banners.php, but it is not listed. I see only two template “Pagebuilder + page title” and “Pagebuilder + latest articles + pagination”
How can I add a my custom template?

That is way was add this option on header cloud, to can have different H1 per page/posts, also using the Page Builder + Page Title prom page template, this should set your page title as h1 and remove the h1 from logo.
