So I’m trying to create a custom header layout using code (API, child theme etc) but came across the Header Manager.
Please is there a way to design a header on a page (with the Header Manager) and make it appear globally on all pages?

Also, how can I include the Trending News (News Ticker) in my Top Header – Child Theme (with PHP) – which is already looking good… ?

Hey I thought I’d solved this in the theme settings – custom post types – turning off show author name. BUT I changed the template and it won’t go away on the main page or in the categories section!

The theme doesn’t have such a setting, the ad will be displayed permanently. Usually, this could be done with CSS but in the case of Adsense ads, Google will not allow them to be hidden with CSS.
You could create a condition in the header template 6 file you are using. Something like in this topic

The condition would be – if this is not a post IDs -> show the ad

So the ad will not be loaded for those posts.

Hi Catalin, after using my custom page footer template for a while, I figured out that this is causing some trouble. If I use third-party plugins e.g. for social sharing or for generating a table of content, these plugins (and others using a system to automatically insert content along with posts) will show their content again within the footer. E.g. Social Sharing on the bottom of each page, an additional table of content on the bottom of each page, etc.
Somehow the footer triggers them to add the elements again (although these plugins are set to appear not along pages but only along posts). It would be great if the footers could be somehow solved like headers not to be a page.

If you want to have a global header you’ll need to set it in theme panel -> https://www.screencast.com/t/dnHozn7zH and all pages/categories/posts that do not have set an individual header will have that header set.
For individual header you’ll need to edit that page/post template/category template… and set in it the header that you want, and on this posts/categories templates or page will be set that header ( the individual will override the global header for that post/page ).

Despite the template used for the category pages on desktop, the mobile theme will use it’s own template. That is the case for author pages, tag pages, etc. The mobile theme has a template for all of them which will be used.
Only pages may be blank if you do not enter content in the mobile editor for each of them

The exception is the mobile homepage, this will display a top grid with featured posts and a latest articles section, so it will not be empty.
1. AMP has become widely used, our old dedicated AMP plugin did the job for a while. A decision has been made to discontinue this plugin and instead use the official up to date AMP plugin, which can be integrated with the mobile theme. In the coming update more options will be added.
2/3. You can design the category pages as you want, use the predefined category templates or cloud templates. These will be used on desktop, on mobile when the mobile theme is active, the mobile template will apply regardless. This theme demo has the mobile theme active, check a category page on mobile to see how it will look

These mobile templates are AMP valid as well, since 9.6.
4. The mobile theme is created for mobile, if you do not use the mobile theme the responsive version will take place. Meaning the website will adapt for mobile or the device used. Be careful when you design templates with the composer, always check how it will look on mobile.
For example while a flex block with 3 modules per row looks alright on desktop

Most settings are per viewport, check and configure them differently for each when needed.
5. Some examples of what exactly is happening would be very helpful. The only instance when pages would be blank is if we are referring to actual pages. Hi. Yes, thats the issue that I am facing, only my header and footer is full-width. I am having trouble stretching the “content” section of the homepage. In the screenshot that I sent, the rows were already set to “Stretch row and content.” for both the header and content.
So just to clarify, I should install “full-width” templates from the cloud library as a work around?
I am currently still trying to work on the homepage, before even going on to the post templates or other pages.

So if I’m right you want the width/stretch of row, if so then the simplest way to achieve this will be to create or import a full width templates from the cloud library plugin. There is no one single button push. You have to import a post style and set it as the default post template in the theme panel post settings, then you need to import a category template that is full width and set that one as the default category template. The same for tags, author pages etc:

If you make changes in theme files, and those can not be set in child theme, all those changes will be lose after theme update.The best way will be to use a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library those templates can be edit with tagDiv Composer, and you can set the comment any were in the post.

I inspect your website, and the share buttons form homepage are set with some plugins, are not from our theme and is an tested plugin, we do not know how is working with our theme, also we can not provide support for untested plugins, sorry!
The content from homepage that you have set is compose from one Page templates with Page Builder + Latest Articles + Pagination so the last part of page ( latest articles with right sidebar are part of template) and can not be change with tagDiv Composer and the content that is set with tagDiv Composer.

Then use your own featured image, set the video in the post content at the beginning and use post template 5 or 12. These templates do not display the featured image in the post page.
This way you will have a featured image to display in blocks and grids, while in the post page this image will not appear. I believe this is what you want to do.
