Hi,

Please go in posts open the post go to Post Settings> General and set post template on from panel ( https://www.screencast.com/t/5tQtn87k ), click update page and view the page.

Multipurpose Full width & Transparent header - topic

Hi, I am trying to familiarize myself with the multi-purpose elements of the theme so I can build standard pages in addition to the post pages.

I am having issues getting the hero section not only full-width, but also to get the header to be transparent on these pages like your demos.

So I have a page that is set to the Pagebuilder + Menu Overlay template, and I have the hero element in the first row set to stretch and content – exactly the same as one of your video tutorials. The hero however, is not full-width, and the header is not transparent, so the hero is tucked under it. I have tried everything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, if you will use our page builder for post pages, using the Cloud Template. Please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/ Use the Single Template for your posts and notice that these can be customized with TD Composer.

Hello,

I use the co-authors plus plugin on my website in order to display multiple authors: https://wordpress.org/plugins/co-authors-plus/
Thanks to the following post I was able to change the files in order to activate the changes: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/multiple-authors-co-authors-on-articles-author-links-and-author-boxes/

However, I have created a cloud template for one of the pages of my website and the plugin doesn’t work on that page.

What should I do in order for the plugin to work with the cloud template?

How to add a "line" or "line break" within a cloud template text? - topic

I´m working with this templarte: https://cloud.tagdiv.com/campaigns-page-nature-love/ but when I edit the text, I cant add a line, or line break.

Hi,

Try and use bigger images in size, then the thumbnails will be of better quality. Also the results in the post pages will be better for certain post templates where a bigger image is displayed.

So no need to use different images, use only one bigger in size. The theme will create thumbnails from it to display in blocks and grids

My Default Template always displays the headline for the Page…. so both ‘Pagebuilder + page title” and the “Default template” display the headline/title for the Page. Is this supposed to happen?

Demo Installation Popup has no button - topic

After clicking demo installing button, there is a popup saying:

“INSTALL THE FULL DEMO. Are you sure you want to install the full demo? This will import homepages, sample content with images, backgrounds, template layouts, fonts, colors. Notice: The demo can be fully uninstalled and the system will attempt to rollback to your previous state. Any content, menus and attachment created by the demo are removable via the uninstall button. Please backup your settings to be sure that you don’t lose them by accident.”

However, there is no button to click (to proceed).

Please advise. Thank you.

Hi,

First you need to have set page template Pagebuilder+ last articles +pagination ( https://www.screencast.com/t/yLEVb5j1YrH5 ), if this is set so, go down in page until you’ll see the “Homepage Latest Articles” ( https://www.screencast.com/t/X4QH5mFhYu ).

Hello manuangel,

If you want to sort the Category, you need to use such a plugin with this functionality like Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order plugin, that should allow you to change the default order of the categories – https://wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-terms-order/

Also, if you want to remove the Sub Footer Copy text, you need to use a bit of CSS code to hide it.

I have inspected your homepage and I saw that your “Ultimi Articoli” comes from the Page Template -> Pagebuilder+Latest Articles+Pagination. So, if you want to remove it, you need to change the page template from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sNEj33kRuzdG TO moe any other element from your page, you should use the TD Composer drag and drop functionality. Can i use function frontend editor in WPbakery ? - reply

The bundled version of the WPBakery page builder provided with theme would be the same as the premium version in terms of functionality, minus some features.

The front end version will be disabled by the theme unless that code mentioned in the topic is commented or removed. It was a decision made a long time ago, because the theme blocks, grids and other elements may not display properly when using the front end WPBakery.
If you want to use it, try the suggestion from the topic, make tests.

Or simply use the tagDiv composer which is a front end page builder. We will add more options and new features specifically for the tagDiv composer, over future updates. Also the cloud library plugin will work only with the tagDiv composer

I put some templates from cloud library, like; 404 Template 7, Date Template 2, Search Template 5, Tag Template 2…,
to be my templates for that pages… but they works just for one or two days and than back on default. Why?

With yoast seo you can control the breadcrumbs ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dM147WgocQw ).

And for your second question, I don’t quite understand the problem you are referring to, you refer to yoast seo installation ( you don’t need to add ).

In order to set the shortcodes for breadcrumbs you need to check first few thinks, witch template you have set on page and posts, after that you need to replace ( replace on page https://www.screencast.com/t/fKej7s5rjYce , on posts template 6 https://www.screencast.com/t/12ZS3EPt), enable the yoast on breadcrumbs.

Child Theme and Stylesheet CSS not working - topic

I followed the guide from WordPress and TagDiv, but my child theme’s stylesheet is not loading. Here are the codes I have in functions.php:

I created a functions.php, style.css in a new directory called Newspaper-child. The style.css is blank. The functions.php has the code above. Why is it that no stylesheet loads? Doesn’t it fetch AND load the files and stylesheets from the parent template before checking the child? So even if my style.css is blank, it should work, right?

Let me know what I’m not doing right. Thank you.

Hi,

You can use a homepage from cloud template, and you can edit the template how you like ( https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/ ).
Or if you like to keep the current template please provide your url for a closer inspect, in this way I will be able to give you a custom css.
