It would require that a featured video actually be set in the dedicated field

Only then it will be set as featured in the post page, and also the thumbnail will be created from the video. So a video link would have to be entered in that field and the post format set as video, then update the post. Also one from the recommended post templates should be used for video posts.

The post views will not increment in AMP. AMP loads the post or page through google and it does not register as a view on your site except if the user accesses the site directly and not through the AMP template. The theme views will not count AMP views.

If you activate the mobile theme plugin, then the mobile homepage will not be the same as on desktop. The mobile homepage, category pages, post pages etc have a predefined template. So regardless of what you have on desktop,on mobile it will not be the same. You can find out more about how the mobile theme works here

Note that the mobile theme plugin is optional, so if you want the same content from desktop to appear on mobile, deactivate it. There will be no problem.
The mobile plugin is intended to be used if you want to display a different and simpler website on mobile.

For a specific category on my website, I changed the category template style as follows:
Category Template = Style 2
Category Top Posts Style = Grid 3
Rest all defaults.
I also added some text as category description for SEO purpose and all working fine.
BUT, in view source, the category description appears twice which is not good w.r.t SEO. Search Engines will consider it as duplicate/repeating text.
Why this duplicate content as added only once on page? How to fix the issue?

@MayankParmar The flickering issue will not affect the website visitors, it is visible when the tagDiv composer is used to edit a page. It happened only on Chrome, however it is fixed now in the new theme version.
That notification is also visible when editing a page with the tagDiv composer, it will not be visible on the website or affect the website in any way. It may appear when for example you change the page template in the backend instead of using the tagDiv composer option, but it will not cause any issues.

You should change the page template to default one, as an example. I saw that you are using the Pagebuilder+latest articles which displays you at the bottom of the page, all of you latest post section, by default which cannot be removed. @popacombr Hiding the header and footer are not required anymore, since the empty page template has been added and can be selected for the specific pages.
On pages you can now hide elements per device, with the tagDiv composer or WPBakery page builder. A related topic with more information here

If needed ask your hosting provider to increase all the parameters mentioned in that guide as specified. Then check if there is still a problem.

In momentul in care dezactivam tagDiv composer, modul de redare al articolelor se schimba drastic in rau (al celor din demo)
Noi dorim sa utilizam WpBakery pentru ca ofera posibilitatea de editare din backend.
Sa inteleg ca modalitatea de lucru reocmandata este:
– instalare template
– instalare WpBakery
– dezactivare tagDiv composer
– editare posturi/pagini?
Am publicat un articol cu tagDiv composer dezactivat si se pare ca functioneaza ok.

Incercam sa folosim tema Newspaper pentru unul dintre proectele noastre.
Pana in acest moment ne-am lovit de urmatoarele probleme:

– incercam sa folosim WPBakery Page Builder pentru articole/pagini. Intampinam urmatoarea problema: orice combinatie de page template/ sidebar position alegem – odata salvat articolul sidebarul (in cazul nostru in dreapta) vine si este afisat peste continut. O rezolvare de moment este ca la fiecare element/rand din WPBakery Page Builder sa setam Stretch row and content la setarile elemntului , optiunea Row stretch. Linkul de mai jos va prezinta simptomul mentionat – sidebar peste continut: https://365web.ro/xbox-one-to-launch-in-china-this-month-after-all-2/ La acest articol tot ce am facut a fost sa scurtam continutul si sa adaugam un element text in WPBakery Page Builder, fara a afecat setarile de template, sidebar, categorie.

1. Unfortunately the theme does not have any such option. If you designed a custom page for the tag and you want to use it instead of the default tag template, you can use a redirect plugin like so: http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/beginners-guide-to-creating-redirects-in-wordpress/
2. The same redirect from point 1 should fix this as well.
3. It should not impact seo in any meaningful way.

As for the colors section, this could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the tagdiv composer page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

I m still learning step by step regarding options that WordPress and your theme offer, so excuse me for maybe basics questions. I hope you ll find time and energy to help me.
I m trying to achieve organization of articles by tags, as most of them could be fit in different categories, so tags are much better solution.
But, i have there two big problems.
1. I made page for certain tags, and use blocks for displaying articles with some tags. But, how to make that when visitor press Tag inside article, instead of Tag template, it goes directly to mentioned page?
2. How to achieve that breadcrumbs on start of article show Home>Tag>Article? And with pressing Tag to again goes to adequate Page, not Template Tag Page?
3. How this entire Tags hierarchy impacts CEO? Is it ok go this way, or there has to be some categories etc/

Also, I can’t figure out why the tagdiv composer is unstable or inconsistent. Sometimes I will open it to edit the Homepage and it will load the existing template fine. Other times the spinner will go forever trying to load and never complete. I also notice that I have more success when I click on the “Edit with TD Composer” link under the specific page on the Pages console. However, when I click into edit the page and click on the blue tagDiv composer button, I tend to have more loading issues. Is this a known problem?
I wanted to give you an idea that would be very useful for those who use your template in newspapers with a certain level of publication. I have been working for more than 25 years as a journalist in European media and I think that for modest newspapers that can not afford a CMS like Méthode or others, your template, despite the failures that it has, is the best. In fact, in my consultancy it is the one we use when we create websites for native media.
I miss, however, a functionality that would make Newspaper 8 template win a lot.
A drag and drop system to move news from one place to another. I do not mean the design of the page or the homepage, but once designed, from the frontend we could move a news m from one column to another simply by dragging and dropping. The native system of worpress to place news on the home, through an ID, is very cumbersome for media with a certain level of publications. Any CMS in the newspaper market has already implemented drag and drop news systems for years.
If you were able to create that drag and drop system for the news, instead of placing the ID in each box, the qualitative suturing would be enormous. If you need any kind of project definition or advice, at your disposal.

I have created a sperate footer page instead of using footer template, so I select the FOOTER PAGE in the footer setting section. Once I select the page, my sub footer showing my copyright information and sub footer navigation page section disappear. Please help me to resolve this?
