Hello, I’ve installed the Center Magazine Pro template. Some page elements have css variables as colors, but they’re not defined (checked with browser inspector). Where can I define the global css variables for colors? i.e. var(–center-demo-1)
We are currently developing the change from newspaper 8 to 12 and we found several errors that we have not been able to solve for example: wp_booster error:

I understand your thoughts, but you can’t apply a shop template to a category. We have different elements for each template, but we also have common elements that you can use on other templates too.
Also, the page templates can’t be set as global. You can copy-paste the code of the page (edit the page with Gutenberg)and paste it into a new one. So, you can have two pages with the same templates. But you should build it manually.

I am picking the template for cloud, then i save but I can’t select it in the top of the page as you said. I get this message: No cloud templates. Please import one or more templates from Cloud Library.

You can create a new page and edit it with the tagdiv Composer. You can customize the pages as you want. You need to edit the logo when you edit the homepage for example with the tagdiv Composer. We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. You can translate them from Theme Panel -> Translations -> Translations -> https://i.imgur.com/ezhjmLq.png and on the elements where the translation does not apply
you need to edit the pages/templates with tagDiv Composer for the blocks or other elements to change the translation.
Also, for the menu, please go to Appearances -> menus and check the menu there; maybe you didn’t change the page’s name.
Also, the theme options cannot be translated.

For the problem with the author links, maybe the author archives are disabled in the Yoast plugin; if they are, author links will be redirected to the homepage. Well, now it shows. However, i don’t like the template of the author page. I ve been trying to change it but it remains the old one.
I tried by going to the authors page, selecting cloud library and chose Magazine author template. I change it and save it, bus still shows the previous template. How I can change?
I am adding a script to a raw html element. I cannot add the script here because you seem to reject script in messages.
The issue is when I view it on the page a type=”text/javascript” has been added to the script tag. This can be viewed on any of our post template pages, for example https://www.hernandosun.com/2024/06/20/embark-on-an-adult-summer-reading-adventure-at-east-hernando-library/.
The reason this is an issue is it is causing the script to not run in Chrome based browsers.

So, certain settings may apply to each viewport (e.g., where the border is blue), while others do not (e.g., where the border is black).
1. You can not set another limit of the posts, one for desktop and one for mobile, only if you have a mobile template.
2. I recommend first doing the changes for the desktop and then for another viewport.If you want some blocks for mobile then I recommend to create a mobile page/template.

You need to delete the element with a right-click; the option from the Theme panel is for the standard template. You can delete a element ith right-click or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page

Hello. I’m having a problem adding a video template from the cloud library to my homepage.
Some notes. I’m using the Tagdiv Composer instead of wpbakery. I load up my homepage in the editor, I click the ‘Load Template’ button from the left side menu, and select the option “Latest Videos Section – Town Talk” and click the green ‘Import Section’ button. Nothing happens. I’ve tried this repeatedly on several different computers, browsers, etc.
If I use X to get off the Load Template screen, I very briefly see a pop-under window that says Load Template with a Yes or No choice on it. However, that disappears as quickly as ‘Load Template’ screen when I close it.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! That was really helpful but although we love the magazine theme, we found the right margins for the article posts were very wide. We accept this is a design feature for the magazine style.
So is there specific css for a Page template style – a way of saying, “just apply to page template style 1”?
Or alternatively, for all mobile post template styles, perhaps I want to say, “Don’t word wrap the featured images of any post template style on mobiles” or maybe “Don’t align-left the featured images on mobiles”?
We had added the code below to the custom css for mobile phones, to make the featured image spread across the page.
