Hello @FKnews,

So I understood you add two blocks of the posts loop in your template, right? if yes, we do not recommend setting two posts loop on the same page/template, please use a flex block or another block, because most of the settings from the first loop element will be set for the second one.

Thank you!

Hi,
Indeed there you’ll need to use a custom css for example you can use this code
.td-header-main-menu, .td-header-main-menu {
height: 0px;
}
.td-header-menu-wrap {
min-height: 0;
}

Set the code in the theme panel > custom code> advance css> phone.
Now for the breadcrumbs are usually on posts and are set in each post style, the path on those files is wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/single/loop-single-1.php now for some templates the code is set in loop-single-x.php for others in single_template_x.php
-> https://i.imgur.com/Eu4RHa8.png
-> https://i.imgur.com/1fvgJhe.png
The code for breadcrumbs is set on this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_page_generator.php -> https://i.imgur.com/tZQcd4S.png
I hope this will help.
Thank you!

Hello,

Some of the posts of my website have multiple categories.
For those ones, I use the “Primary category” setting to correctly display their main category.
But I was wondering if there is a way to display multiple categories in Posts Loop and Big Grid Flex modules ?
What I mean by that is, for each post in those loops/grids, instead of having a single sticker displaying their main category, we would have several stickers, one after the other, to display all categories of those posts.

Here’s an example; that’s the archive for my category “Société”.
We see in the big grid that some posts have a different category set up as Primary category (“Numérique” or “Économie / Finance”). I’d like those to have several stickers on them to display all their categories (for example, 1 sticker “Numérique” -as it is currently- and another sticker to display “Société” which is the secondary category).
https://tribumedias.be/category/societe/

Thanks.

Hello!

There is no category filter on the Posts Loop, only on Flex blocks: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

hi, how to add a category filter in the posts loop? My point is that only articles from that category should be displayed in a given category. Currently, all the latest entries are displayed and I cannot edit.

Hi, community!

I would like to have the title and excerpt of the Posts Loops in the right position.
Like this example (Flex Block 1): https://imgur.com/a/z5KcIAI

Is it possible?

Hello!

It was a misunderstanding, sorry. Please check the video where I showed you how you can get an excerpts there with some old modules: https://www.screencast.com/t/NKEQl9r7eD
Or you can remove the page from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/WG51cLGbpfvt and make it customizable with the tagdiv Composer. Then, you can use elements like Posts Loop, flex blocks, etc.

Thank you!

Hey tagDiv team, how are you all doing? hope everything is okay!

I’m trying to exclude some specific posts using the ID when inside my Post Loop element and it’s just not working as expected as you can see on the screenshots:

Here is my usual post loop element without any excluding id:
https://prnt.sc/20t3t2c

Now I’m trying to exclude one specific post from the list:
https://prnt.sc/20t44ho

So as you can see it’s working as if the option was not “exclude” but “include” after all the only remaining post was the one that was supposed to be excluded from the list…

Can you help me with that?

Thanks and take care!

I feel certain I’ll benefit from understanding special filters – everything is so useful. But I don’t even know where to start to understand them – context – who is aiming to do what, where?

The documentation at https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/ only states “Category Filter – Choose a specific category for the block from a drop-down menu containing all the existing categories.” Doesn’t mention the special filters.

I’m mystified. If I select “Current category” – it must know what the current category is – how does it know ? Is it to be used on a page where there is a category posts loop? because if i simply set a category in the Multiple taxonomies filter I get multiple categories.

Be great to get a full explanation.

Thanks!

Hello!

The big difference between Posts Loop vs Posts Loop 2 blocks is the style and some settings.
On Posts Loop you will have some extra settings as:
– Container width (0-100 percent)
– Modules radius
article image : Image width (0-100 percent), Image position.
– Article meta info alignment top, bottom, center.
– Meta container space
– You can not change article title, meta info, excerpt, video player etc position

Extra settings in the Posts Loop 2:
article image: Image V alignment, Image margin.
– Article top, bottom meta info padding
– You can change the article title, meta info, excerpt, video player etc position

Maybe you can use excerpts and do not need to edit any files: https://www.screencast.com/t/nefzZW1HS

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hello!

By editing a page with TagDiv Composer you could delete elements but also the row called “Empty column”.
You could try to delete it like this: select the row, press the button delete from your keyboard, then with your mouse select “YES”.
Also you have another option too, check this: https://www.screencast.com/t/pxuOzYIIpcG

In order to add your posts from that tag in the tag page, you need to add the element called “Flex block” or “Posts Loop”. Also, add the tag created to your posts. For example, for flex block choose the filter: Current tag in order to display the posts from the current tag. Also, for the category page, you can use a flex block with the filter: Current category in order to display the posts from the current category. Please check the video: https://www.screencast.com/t/dr5rNIts72lj

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hello!

You can choose the option by default and assign a cloud template in order to add the element Posts Loop with all the settings.
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/

Documentation here:

Hi Newspaper, I have created this page:
https://eastwest.eu/it/autori/matteo-meloni/ (single-autori.php) It’s a custom php template into my child theme based on Newspapaer. I would like to load a list of posts based on a custom fields, so I have used:

$args = array('meta_key' => 'seleziona_autore', 'meta_value' => $post->ID);
query_posts($args);
get_template_part('loop' );

I would like to load a “tdb_module_loop” layout to show posts as happens in search results or category lists:
https://eastwest.eu/it/categoria/la-notizia-del-giorno/
https://eastwest.eu/it/?s=matteo+meloni

How can I perform this? Do I have to change :

get_template_part('loop' );

with something different?

Hi,

I want to remove the “Advertisement” tags from my homepage. It seems that the “Posts Loop” is adding it, even if I disabled or enable the “Enable video pop-up” function from Article Video.

This tag is bad for SEO and it should be removed.
This video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apGbYJ_8LSM is a great reference to what I’m talking about.

Hi TagDiv team, I am having an issue with my installation. I am seeing duplicate content between two Post Loop Modules in the same page. I explicitly set the second Post Loop to an offset of 13 posts, and when I save and reload the page, the changes are erased, and am seeing exactly the same thing as when I started editing the theme file. I have even attempted deleting the second Post Loop, and creating a new one from scratch, but when I save and reload the page, the same thing happens again. Please review the following video I made to show you what I’m seeing.

Thank you.

Hello,

You can apply a filter on each block as you want, to not display the same posts, you need to enable the option unique article, which checks if that post is showing in other blocks => https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/qPztPvlx
This option automatically removes duplicate posts from the page.
Also, you want to have a category template -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/ from tagDiv Cloud Library and displayed all the posts from that category, so you can use the posts loop element => https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/ or you can use Flex Block 1 and set the filter to “Category -Current category” => https://i.imgur.com/7P99qx0.png

Thank you!

Hello Anne!

We have in that element Posts Loop the option called Exclude Post IDs.
Unfortunately, as our support policy mentions: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/ We can not provide support for un-tested plugins.

Thank you!

Hello!

You can add a flex block anywhere you have a cloud/pro template.
You can’t achieve what you need with the Posts Loop element and can’t transform the flex block to display your search results.

Unfortunately, this will require custom work which is not covered by the support team.

Thank you!
