This issue is that the featured images do not show at the frontpage.
Only if you minimize windows and maximize it – the images shows.
Also on mobile; there you need to scroll down and then the images appears.

Now the thumb size that are used are those https://i.imgur.com/xb3F3hG.png and it can be selected using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/nT6grSa.png -> https://i.imgur.com/5o90wSX.png
The flex blocks can be adjusted and you can choose the thumb size, just to make sure that you have enable that thumb in the theme panel and to regenerate the thumbs.

They are cropped automatically: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/ ; that’s why you can disable the thumbs you are not using. Set up your thumbs from Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Block settings -> Thumbs on modules/blocks. If you deactivate a dimension from there, next time when you will upload an image, it will not be resized to that dimension.

Please make sure that you have activated the proper thumbs for the mobile theme. The mobile theme requires the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes in order to show the featured images properly.

Unfortunately, our theme do not have an option to change the crop by cases. The crop is set for top center https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image/

Also, using this method, maybe you need to regenerate some thumbs for that image to apply it (remove the old thumb and use the cut one).

It was fixed for about a week, and I thought everyone else would get the fix with the next update; however, it broke for me again shortly after, and then I updated two days ago, and the update did not fix the issue.
Do they need my credentials again? Did they not actually discover the problem, because it was fixed for a bit, and now it’s broken again, including after an update and delete cache.

Please check the console when you try to save the changes made in Theme Panel maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

Is there a way to enable the thumbnails in the database and regenerate the thumbnails afterwards?
After upgrading to 11.4, I can no longer add additional size options for thumbnail sizes. I turn them on in the theme panel (slide to blue), save, regenerate thumbnails, come back and the new size options are off.
I’ve tried this on two different development servers and a live server. Nothing allows me to enable new image thumbnail sizes.

I migrated the site to a private server to upgrade the theme from version 6 to the current one, the 11. I’m having quite a few problems especially in editing the pages that give me back “Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL + Z / CTRL + SHIFT + Z) “when I try to save.
But that’s not all: I can’t even download correctly from the cloud template due to an incorrect server configuration (but from system status everything is ok).
I have already deactivated all plugins, regenerated .htaccess, checked permissions (755 folders, 644 files), checked the Apache directives, checked the php.ini setup, checked wp-config.php, but nothing.
What should I do?

I recommend you to optimize your images before uploading in the Media Library.
Please make sure that you have activated the proper thumbs for the Mobile Theme. The mobile theme requires the “265×198” and the “741×486” thumbnail sizes in order to show the featured images properly.

Unfortunately, still facing the same issue.
What I did:
– Checked, that thumbs of proper sizes are active in theme panel, block settings. Yes, they are. See screenshot. https://snipboard.io/VgPZLR.jpg
– Regenerated thumbs of all featured images to be sure that they are properly generated.
According to another screenshot from page speed check it seems that even though data source is defined in code file with different dimensions is served. https://snipboard.io/jw5eOH.jpg
Unfortunately, I don’t know where to continue with the investigation. Any advice? Thanks a lot in advance.
Hello, I have finally successfully set up AMP version of web. The speed indicated by PageSpeed Insights has significantly improved. Anyhow, there is one issue still indicated on home page and it is “Properly size images”. It seems that all featured image thumbs are not served in proper size. I have checked the theme configuration and I have selected generation of thumbs for both mobile modules. I have also regenerated all thumbnails. Can you give me some advice, how to serve to AMP pages proper size of featured thumbs?

It seems that you use the Mobile theme plugin. Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:

Thanks for the update but this problem is not related to Grid or Grid’s modules scalling / cropping but is releted to adjusting a (featured) image (by either cropping or proportionally re-scalling that image) by Newspaper theme, so that this picture fits into particular Newspaper theme module window: Module_MX5 in this case (from Grid_1)

Please note that we have some standard elements, already customized which you can not customize it, the same as default template. And also, some elements which have a lot of settings with what you can customize it, the same as cloud template which can be edited with the TagDiv Composer plugin.
