FYI, I just made some changes to the social sharing icons choices (removed Google+, added email sharing icon, stumblupon, etc…and now I can’t get the whatsapp icon visible. (http://www.HowNotToSail.com)

This can be a plugin conflict, you can try to deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and look again.
Also you can try to hide that video, if you want to do that you need to add the below custom css in Newspaper>theme panel>Custom code>Custom css

What buttons are you referring to exactly? If you mean the ones in the header and footer, you can remove the links for each social in the theme panel, they will not be shown anymore

It is entirely up to the user when it comes to SEO management, the theme doesn’t have any options or settings in the matter. I believe the most popular plugin is the Yoast SEO plugin which we recommend as well for sharing posts

So you will have to decide, if you require the premium features of Yoast for the website or not. Or maybe try other free SEO plugins that have the options you require, could be some.

I already deactivated the non-theme plugin and activated again, cleared cache but the problem persists. Installed the Thumbnail Regenerate plugins too, sharing posts in Facebook do not show still the featured image like before.

Hey I got a problem when I was designing a page using Newspaper theme. My website contains both English and Chinese, for example sometimes I need this “Website网站”.
I have tried all the fonts selected from Title text font setting via Tagdiv composer, but none of them is working for the Chinese part on Windows using Chrome. Other browsers and system is fine, for example Firefox on Windows, Chrome on MAC. Chrome on windows is the newest version, css {font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif !important;} looks fine.
