Please check the theme system status section
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources if needed. If you updated from an older version to the latest one (8.7.2) reinstall the tagDiv composer (latest version is 2.1).
Additionally try as a test to deactivate all other plugins, leave only the theme plugins active. Check if the issue is still happening. Let us know the results.

Hello mjehangir,
Check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation. Check the theme to be the latest version of it installed via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Until now, we do not have any bad reports in this case and notice that the TD Composer should works as expected, without any problems.
A 500 error can have a bunch of causes but in usual debugging you would use such a guide: https://www.lifewire.com/500-internal-server-error-explained-2622938
Please access your files via FTP and try to rename the plugins folder and test again.
Thanks.
Hi,
The latest version of the tagDiv composer plugin was optimized further, so there should be no problems. Make sure you are using the latest version of the composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/qUQ9uTJkd
Also you could contact your hosting provider and mention the issue. Check the server and WordPress allocated resources
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
These resources could be limited by the hosting, that could be why the issue is happening.
Hello,
This error is caused by the memory allocation in most cases. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If the issue is still there, please try without any plugins.
As an alternative you can install the theme via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Thank you!

Hi,
Maybe the page content is not saved in the first place when you click on the save button
– https://www.screencast.com/t/E3q3LdY7N
It should display a success message.
Check the theme system status parameters
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Ask your hosting provider to increase the allocated resources if needed. Make sure the plugin is active in the plugins section, and the button will appear on pages (not posts). Deactivate all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Create a new page with the tagDiv composer and save it, then re-open it.
If there still is a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, as well as FTP and cPanel access if possible. We will take a look.
Thank you!
Hello,
I have encountered some issues regarding the Newspaper theme.
1. The download link in Themeforest.net points to version 8.6. The same applies to the bundle download which also contains previous versions of the TagDiv plugins. I downloaded the bundle file and installed the Multi Purpose plugin just to find out that I installed version 2.0 instead of a version higher than 2.10 which was already installed. As a result, I get an error message when loading the website. Also, after uploading the Newspaper folder from the said link, in system status I see that I have version 8.6 installed and that version 8.7.2 is available. Clicking on the link I am transferred to Themeforest.net
2. When trying to load our website through a mobile browser I get an error message regarding the Multi Purpose plugin (that was happening even with Multi Purpose v. 2.10)
3. When loading our website in a tablet and a drop down menu opens in front of another menu item, this menu item appears inside the drop down menu. Please see screenshot here: http://lwstaff.com/menu_pic.jpg
4. Top menu does not show as a burger menu in tablets and mobiles.
5. Thumbnails of posts created after the installation of Newspaper theme appear in low resolution but thumbnails of older posts before Newspaper appear normally. Retina option is enabled in all types of images.
I need your attention please.
Thank you,
Nick
Hello all,
Please check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ most likely, the PHP memory has exhausted and that’s why you cannot save anything.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I have checked this on my end, seems to be no problem
– https://www.screencast.com/t/LTQU3YFVgMI
So something is not working properly for you. You could try as a first step to use a different browser, see if the icons are displayed.
A second step if there is still a problem would be deactivating all plugins as a quick test, leave only theme plugins active. Check if this solves the problem.
Also take a look in the theme system status and see if the server and WordPress parameters are set according to the requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Let us know the results.
Hi,
Not sure, it’s possible that this issue with saving settings appears because the server security module blocks the access to admin-ajax.php file or the file it’s not found. Try to verify if this happens when you save settings in other cases in theme panel and also verify the console for error while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
Contact your server administrator and explain the situation, as it’s requested many times during the a save the file it’s treated as threat so it’s banned. You can report false positives to your server administrator to remove it from the banned list.
You should also check the max_input_vars directive from you php.ini file and make sure that it’s set above 5000, you can check this in system status section within theme’s panel:https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thanks!
Please increase your memory allocation as newspaper is bigger in size and possibly exceeds your memory allocation. Please use this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thank you!
Hello damon,
Please update the theme again via FTP way, remove all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. Make sure that your system status parameters are correctly increased according to our documentation and also if you are using some untested plugins, clear all of them and leave just to activate the plugins which come bundled with the theme core files.

Hello iammusikdesign,
Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme, update the plugins to the latest version of them which come bundled with the core files and check the results. Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks for the message!
The new theme version (8.7.2) and tagDiv composer version 2.1 have received many speed improvements in the latest update. So there should be no problem in the matter, as long as you are using this version and the system status is set according to the recommendations.
You could try with all plugins deactivated, leave only theme plugins active. Then test to see if there is still a problem.
We could take a look, please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login, FTP access and cPanel access if possible. Make a backup of the website before. Mention what exactly we should test if the issue is specific to particular actions.
Hello JA,
This option should have to be available in WordPress. If the option is not there, try to make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. Also, check your system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Thanks for your understanding!

Ask your hosting provider to increase them if necessary. Also test with no plugins active if possible, except theme plugins.

@walt wise If you could send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login and FTP access to the testing domain where you have installed the latest version of the theme, we will investigate.
It is important that there are sufficient resources allocated by the server
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Test with no other plugins except theme plugins active, or child theme active.
The latest update fixed the issues for the majority of users, if there are more issues we will identity them and fix them. We can take a look at the problems on your website, send us admin login details and FTP at the email address mentioned above. Make a backup before sending the email. Also include a link to this topic in the email.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have inspected the website you mention, there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with it from what I can see.
Please make sure your server and WordPress are configured according to this guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also a recommended method by our users when migrating would be the Duplicator plugin, you could give it a try, this is a guide

Hello, I am also having issues with saving changed settings theme panel. I went through and deactivated plugins and worked with my host to ensure that the parameters met or exceed your requirements. https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
The issue is still not fixed and the spinning squares will freeze on the screen when clicking SAVE on in the panel. Thank you in advance for your support.
Please first check if there are sufficient resources
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Also, test with theme plugins only. If there is still an issue, please send tagdiv team an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information and FTP access. Make a backup of the website before. They will take a look. Also, include a link to this topic in the email.
