update. the bid grid is fine, but the posts on “ARTICLE DISPLAY” under the big grid doesn’t show correct.
this part shows the next “X” articles, after the “X” articles in big grid. For example, in case you show 5 articles on big grid, under of this, shows the nexts articles, begins on 6th article in this category.
I want to show all the latest articles under the big grid. Now, this part, show latest articles, after the 5th.

Please make sure that you use the latest theme version 6.2.1 and also you have update the plugins that come with the theme files from the /plugins folder. Also please disable all plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and se if you still have this issue with Big Slider, as I have checked your site and you have a javascript error in the console that might cause some issues – http://screencast.com/t/vtoYVE2vNm

There is many new font icons comes in new version and this theme is still using 4.1.0. How to update it to 4.3.0? i cant find this line http://cdn.jsdelivr.net/fontawesome/4.1.0/css/font-awesome.min.css?ver=4.1.0

nevermind!! I figured it out….I had to update administrator settings in visual composer to show all new items =)
Thought this issue was fixed with the 6.2.1 update (haven’t updated myself yet since these issues was introduced with the 6.2).
But guess they haven’t done anything about it then? Feels really weird since the forum completely exploded with posts regarding this issue when 6.2 was released…

I just updated my theme today to the latest version and I then deleted the old visual composer and uploaded the new one from the new theme installation page. Im trying the fashion demo but when I click on edit page it wont let me edit anything. It shows the cross symbol as if I can move the block but no pencil to edit the block. Plus when I try to add a new block its just showing me basic wordpress items, none of the theme items to add. =(

Please add “Lists” font settings for “Pages” in the theme fonts (theme panel) like you added the setting for “Posts” in the last update. For now, I have to add manually custom CSS to change font and font size of list in “Pages”.
I’ve crawled through the source and it looks as though you only ever write the buffer out once when the first TypeKit is specified. I can’t see any code which checks if the specified JS has changed to update that buffer.
As an update to this, I’ve tracked the issue down to an interaction between your CSS when handling TypeKit fonts and default WordPress embeds.
On my test site I can re-style text without problem unless I use TypeKit, at which point the widget js no longer styles the embeds. Once I remove the Typekit font reference the problem disappears.
We’ve recently switched between typekit bundles and NewsMag refuses to update the buffered javascript.
Looking at page source it continues to refer to the old kit, despite the new kit showing in the theme panel under typekit settings.
Checking MySQL I can see that the option for the new kit is correctly referenced in the database, but td_fonts_js_buffer refers to the old async typekit code.
Is there a known issue in replacing typekit scripts? If not, how can we force the buffer to be regenerated? As it’s stored in a block of serialised data and I don’t have direct MySQL access (only PHPMyAdmin) I can’t easily edit this field, MySQL is notoriously unreliable when it comes to Longtext and the characters used to store the data.
Hi, I updated from version 4 to version 6 on sunday and everything was working on until today, all the images are not loading and just the default placeholder images (which I changed the design) appears all over the site.

After i updated the theme to 6.0, the background color on the header on mobile devices is black. How can i change it? I have the site http://www.macweb.dk, it would be great if i could change it to white, and then the icons to another color? Since my logo has a white background.

Unfortunately that is the only way at moment however we’re considering adding new header layouts in future updates and we also plan to add the the api system which can be used to customize your own header styles.

To get access to your site’s admin follow Chris’s steps.
Why wont you update to the latest version instead of 4.6.2 version? You just need to download it and update using the instruction provided below.
Updating the theme right shouldn’t cause you any issues so you can try to update the theme based on this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ backup your current install, run the import settings script, update plugins and check the result. You can always get back to the previous working theme version if something goes wrong as long as you backup it but doing the update as instructed the theme should work fine.
You should also consider into the process at the following aspects:
– backup your current theme/WordPress/database: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups
– setup a maintenance mode (if your site is live) and you can use a plugin for that.
– empty all caches/purge files if you also use CDN host then disable any services of this type until you switch to the new theme
– disable all plugins
– install the theme then install the required plugins
– switch back the rest of the plugins and start other services

Hello, I get this fatal error on my page ( aeknea.gr )after I updated with ftp to Newspaper 6:

Question 1:
With the version 4 the recommended upload size for the featured images was 1074x483px. The new documentation however mentions nothing about any ideal size for the featured images (more than, as big as possible).
What is the recomended image dimensions for the featured images? As of right now I´m still going with 1074×483. I´m using the Style 3 Post template.
Question 2:
When using the Style 3 for my posts, when viewed in mobile-view or withing a small browser window, the featured picture shrink as it is supposed to but also gets a rather ugly looking gray bar. Why does this happen?
I still haven´t updated from 6.1 beacuse of the issues that was with the article-namning and the brought up stability issues of 6.2. Perhaps this is fixed in the next update of the theme?

You have this issue because you use Visual Composer on posts page, unfortunately the tagdiv gallery was not designed for to be used in a text block in post. I have added this on our list and we will take a look at this and we will try to fix it in a future update.
