Looks like it will (and tested on my site). You can remove the line with “email” because that will remove the email field as well.
Note that the functions.php you’d want to add this to would be in a child theme so the fix can survive theme updates.

What ad box from theme panel do you use? I have checked your site and noticed that you use harder style 3 but didn’t find any ad box. Have you made any changes to the theme files?

Regarding your first issue you can target the username using this .td_user_logd_in class and enlarge the container via css.

Hey guys, I wanted to see what’s up with the Facebook like button. When a user clicks on ‘Like’ it should display the full post title and even description if there. It does not do that: http://screencast.com/t/hz36iSzUN4Qh – also, it usually asks if you want to post to the wall once clicked. Is there something that needs to be updated here?

Please let me know what issues do you have, I will try to help you! A common issue with the big slider is the use of CDN which delivers the old content and should work if you empty server cache and also from the browser or when using the 980px layout set from theme panel > responsive settings, you should try using the 1170px layout should solve the slider issue.

P.S. Oh, good point, I forgot that if you create a page template it can survive theme updates because it won’t be overwritten 🙂
Best fix is to manually edit the style.css file and search/replace the default font stacks with the font stacks you want (we did this to use the Gill Sans font stack). You have to do this with each theme update, but it ensures only the desired fonts EVER load.

First make BACKUP of your dbase, and any special files you’ve modified; turn off all caching, clear caches, clear cache on CDN if using one; turn off mod_pagespeed if using it.
1) switch to main theme, NOT the child theme if using one
2) turn off all plugins while doing update
upload theme files via FTP
3) turn on ONLY the plugins included with theme after upgrade of both theme and plugins
4) if sidebars disappear you can usually just go to appearance and resave them and then back
5) turn on any “extra” plugins

This issue appears when using the 980px layout, please try to use the 1170px layout instead we will fix this in the next theme update.
If this dose not solve this problem please make sure you clear CDN cache and also clear your browser cache and check to see if this issue is still present. This may cause this issue as your CDN delivers the old versions of the files.

Note with twitter that once they cache a certain page, they don’t recache it once updated typically. I have this issue on couple of sites where we did some major updates and wanted to re share some pages, but both FB and twitter keep the OLD info, old photo, etc. and won’t update the NEW info, since they already have been “shared” the “old/bad” version. This may not apply to you, but keep in mind FB and Twitter have so much traffic and frequent technical issues, that sometimes there is simply nothing you can do about it as it has nothing to do with your site whatsoever.
Basically if you look at your page source and see all the properly formatted og:tags and twitter tags, description and title tags, then the issue is NOT with your site.
For example, I was sharing some stories from CNN to my G+ account, and all that was showing in the share was the photo and the page URL, no headline, and no description. Issue not with CNN, but with Google.
Likely doesn’t help, but it’s an on/off/on problem with sharing stuff to FB in particular, and sometimes G+. Twitter has been mostly stable, but they do have problems but they do at least have a developer page to SHOW what systems in their network are/are not working in realtinme.

Also some images do not have alt tags.

The ad banner still overlaps the logo in 980px mode without custom CSS and is now not responsive when the window size is reduced.
I’d love to have the ad banner kept away from the logo in 980px and responsive. Could this be fixed in a future update?
