For some odd reason Themeforest didn’t seem to send out a note about the update. I didn’t get one, and generally always have over the years.
Thank you very much for your reply and the clarification regarding the cache behavior of Flex Blocks.
We are already familiar with the method described in the link you provided, and we have used the theme panel’s cache clearing option under System Status. Unfortunately, this does not resolve the issue we are facing.
The main problem is that the Block Cache Expiration Time setting does not seem to work as intended, as also mentioned by other users in the support thread. As a result, the mobile version of our homepage does not update and continues to display outdated content — which makes it effectively non-functional.
At the moment, we have been forced to disable the mobile frontpage layout entirely, and mobile users are now served the desktop homepage as a fallback.
Please, we kindly ask for your urgent assistance in identifying a working solution. We are running a high-traffic news website and need the mobile homepage to function reliably with fresh content.
There was a Newsmag update last Thursday, specifically for resolving the respective vulnerabilities. Please update the theme if you haven’t already.
Thank you!
Hi,
I just checked the website and now this seems to be ok – https://i.imgur.com/FdgvieH.jpeg I believe that it is something related to cache, just make sure that this will be clear after you publish or update an article.
Thank you
Hi,
Please make sure that you have the last theme version and the Opt in Builder is at the last version (update).
In case that you still see it differently, please let me know the version of the plugin you have and please provide some screenshots to see how it’s looking for you.
Thank you!
Marcusdoc,
Thanks for the reply. I have been holding off on the 12.7.1 update as bugs often take time to work out with Tagdiv. I just installed 12.7.1, which updated composer. It appears Tagdiv fixed their vulnerability issue now.

Can you add a link to the change log from the Updates section of the installed Newspaper control panel?
Hi! Just updated Newspaper to the latest version and noticed that all pages now have this little snippet after them: ?atag=1&sv=1&cid=837120423.1703532032
It looks to me like this is some kind of geo-tag. But unsure.
Is is something that could be caused by the theme or could there be some kind of plugin- incompatibility going on?

Why I am not able to update Loginizer Pro?
Hi mostwonder,
These updates are usually announced on our Update Changelog page. If you’re subscribed to our newsletter, you’ll also receive notifications whenever the theme is updated, along with details about the new features included.
Thank you!
any update on the update?
Hi Calin,
Thank you for acknowledging the feature request and for adding it to your internal list.
Is there any way I can get notified if this offset functionality is approved and implemented in a future update? For example, should I keep an eye on a specific changelog page or subscribe to a newsletter or updates section?
Looking forward to any news on this!
Best regards,
mostwonder
Hi,
That’s an issue that happens when using the Firefox browser unfortunately. We will fix it in a new theme update. But for the time being please use a different browser when editing with the composer.
Thank you!
Hi,
There should be no problems with the theme if you update wordpress. Please do it when you want to.
Thank you!
But how can I identify from where is coming the problem??? It seems to have shown up with the latest updates. I can’t even click to edit the rows on the single post cloud templates.

Is the latest update of Newsmag on May 8 compatible with WP 6.8.1?
I am using this temporarily, but latest version has security issue if using [shortcode], pending updated version in WP repo:

Hi Anamaria,
Thank you for your quick response and for sharing the related files.
I understand that additional functionalities like offset support need to be added through code, but I truly believe that having a built-in offset feature for the infinite scroll system—especially in modes like “Same Category Previous”—would be incredibly valuable for many users.
This feature would allow us to skip a specific number of posts before loading the next ones automatically, which can be useful in various editorial and design scenarios.
I kindly request that you consider adding native support for this feature in a future update. I’m sure it would enhance the flexibility of the theme and be appreciated by a lot of developers using Newspaper.
Thanks again for your time and great work!

Hi,
Many themes and plugins can have vulnerabilities at some point unfortunately. Even plugins with millions of users.
We will most likely release an update with fixes for the vulnerabilities tomorrow.
Thank you!
Hello!
Did you update the theme to version 12.7, and the issue is still there? Please deactivate and delete the tagdiv Composer plugin, clear the cache, and install it again.
Thank you!
Hello!
It works after two clicks on play. Check the documentation about mobile pages here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
You should assign a mobile page for each template.
Thank you!
any updates here ?
Hello @nubet !
Make sure your plugins are up to date: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-how-to-update-a-plugin/
If the plugins are still deactivating, then make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except the tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache, and try again.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please check if all your settings are still there and set up correctly. The update shouldn’t affect the fonts. Ensure it is not caused by a caching tool you’re using.
Thank you!
Hello!
Unfortunately, no. I hope we can solve some errors regarding the shortcode in the next update.
Thank you!
