The visual composer author box is a different function. You can use it with the page builder.
I moved my site to a new server, running Apache/2.4.10 (Debian) and php 5.6.24-0+deb8u1. While I can change everything regarding content and everything within visual composer, changes I try to make to the layout (for example style of posts or menu) do not show.
Any idea what could be the cause of this?

The mobile version of the theme gets converted to a predefined layout added by the mobile theme plugin, Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not want to use the mobile theme you can simply disable the plugin.
You may also have a plugin conflict going on so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then test again.

I have inspected the element but visual composer has quite a few restrictions on how it can be customized so another approach is maybe the better solution. You can use div’s to do it as you have better control over the classes you can add on each of them. Here is an example:

The gallery from visual composer does not allow the positioning you are after. I would use 3 div’s: a big wrapper and 2 containers for each row of images.

Please use this guide to set wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Please make sure everything is set up properly and remove any other plugins exceopt visual composer and wp super cache and then clear all caches from the plugin, server or cdn. Then test again. Let us know if the problem is still there. We will also test this out and check for any incompatibility between WP 4.6 and wp super cache and the mobile theme.

If you want to place a rev slider element in the header, you will have to use the revolution slider shortcode to do it. You can use this function top wrap the shortcode in so it can be rendered by the theme: https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/do_shortcode/
Here is an example of how to use it:
After you create the slider and add it in visual composer on a page, you can see it’s shortcode in text mode in the classic editor (the mce editor): http://screencast.com/t/wGw8sjS5eqLL
After you identify the shortcode and add it to the function, you need to place the whole function containing the shortcode inside the them file corresponding to the header style that you use:

I have checked your site and saw the random mobile theme issue. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Also if you use other caching plugins than wp super cache please remove them and only use these settings for optimal compatibility: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
If you use cloudflare please disable the rocket loader option and use these settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/

This depends on the plugin you use. If it allows the use of shortcodes in the visual editor, then you can use it like so. You will have to test it out though.

This is most likely the cause your site is so “heavy” on the load. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test your site again. Also please try to use as less plugins as possible as they are most of the times poorly optimized.

1) The elements you mention are found on the page. You do not have to look in the theme panel for them but rather by editing the front page in visual composer from page edit. The world news menu is an ajax filter. it can be removed from the block settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
The second element further down the page is a tabs element that can be removed from the back-end as well only this is a full element not a setting as the world news menu.
2) A module is the base element used by our theme. A block is created out of 1 or more modules. A module can be used directly only on loop pages that means category pages, search results or the latest articles section on pages. I did use Visual Composer to create my page layout and set title of each box categories already! My problem now is: I want to start insert content into each box column, but when i put my post, it appear in every column, which i doesn’t want that!!!
My question is “How can i set my post to appear in each destination column?”
For Example: I create a post name “Football” and i want to appear only in “Sport Column” not other column that i have on that page!!!
Second question: I want people be able to create their post/article on my site page, which function or plug-in should i use?

Basically you will need a function which pass the value from url as a tag in block’s shortcode. Here is an example code which insert a custom value in shortcode:
$v = $_GET['val'];
$block = '';
if (isset($v)){
$block .= do_shortcode('[vc_row][vc_column][td_block_11 tag_slug="' . $v . '" limit="3"][/vc_column][/vc_row]');
}
This code can be used as a function in fuctions.php then you can try to generate a new shortcode for that block using add_shortcode() function. For more details about add_shortcode function check this link: https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/add_shortcode After you generate the shortcode can be used in visual composer. This link may also help: https://codex.wordpress.org/it:Riferimento_funzioni/do_shortcode
Note that you will need some codeing skills in order to complete this task. I’ve offered just a basic example above but if you still need guidance on this or you’re not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard please consider hiring a developer or a freelancer to do this for you as we can’t offer customization services at the moment.

Yes it could be a cache issue so try to clear all caches then test the page again. If the problem persist try to regenerate the shortcode for playlist using Visual COmposer and check how it goes. You can also try to use the shortcode on a new test page as there is no cache and it should display the right title.

Hi,
I have the full licensed version of NewsMag and I just re-upped on paid support. I have the latest version of NewsMag and I’m also running the newest version of WordPress. Visual composer recently stopped working on my website and now hangs every time I try to load my homepage on my wordpress admin dashboard.
If I create a new page and I have to use visual composer, it won’t let me manually add text or items. But the catch is Visual Composer hangs and won’t let me add anything either. If I click “add element”, it will open the window showing all the elements, but if I click on any of the elements nothing will happen. It also won’t let me get to the visual/text tabs like on the “posts”, so I can’t create a new page without using Visual Composer. Which again, hangs and doesn’t let me add anything. This is a new development I’ve only noticed recently (I don’t often update my homepage).
Sorry in advance but I did not buy a separate license for visual composer, I’m using the version that came with NewsMag, so I don’t qualify for support there. Thanks in advance for any guidance.

The update process cannot be done through the envato automatic update since the theme version did not get changed. Please use either the ftp method or the wp method. Not the envato market plugin.
As for the plugins, you simply need to deactivate and delete files for the current plugins (visual composer, social counter and revolution slider) and then install them again from here: http://screencast.com/t/nGoc0tH27
