Please notice that if you can create your desired button from Visual Composer, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/xb0rTHBR Now, depends on where you want to display this button…if you want to show this button only for registered users, you will have to use this is_user_logged_in () function to check if your user is registered or not. For more references in this case, please check here -> https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_user_logged_in/ Please notice that this is not a simple task and for each button you will have to add this check in your backend for be3st results. Also, if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

First of all, please notice that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.1.1) because with it will come bundled the latest version of required plugins (Social Counter 4.0 and Visual Composer ->4.11.2). So, please try to delete your old of them from Plugins Area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/iBEN025fJP and then you will install these plugins from Theme panel->Plugins Area which comes bundled with our theme, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/cBh15u5sF Try to clear all your caches and now you have updated all these plugins. Please try to do all of these tips only via FTP because this is the surest method for updating. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This could be a plugin conflict. You can also try to switch to a wo default theme and see if you still get the error.
Also if you use php 7, please deactivate wp debug as our theme was not yet tested with php 7.

1)I suspect this problem come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. I saw that you have used some untested plugins which could create this issue. Please try without them and check the results.

Hi,
None of your pages will work if you do not recreate them in the mobile editor. This is how the mobile theme works. Every page has to be created again in the mobile editor without the use of visual composer otherwise they will not show up. Sorry for my misunderstanding. Please notice that our theme does not display the Ads in full row width because the article inline/top/bottom ad do not use the Visual Composer and in this case, the ad can be displayed only the maximum size of the container, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/FC3JdyuLmfN or without sidebar. Please notice that our theme has not been designed to be used in full width. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

Please make sure you have version 4.1 of the social counter installed, and then clear all caches. If the counter does not work ,please change the user id. try cocacola so the id gets reset as well and then switch back toyour own ID. This should do it.

Please notice that our mobile theme plugin does not influent the correct working for Visual Composer for the rest of your site. So, please notice that the mobile theme was intent to display a very simple version of the page and at the moment you can add only text, images because the Visual Composer is not supported by the mobile theme plugin. For more information about this new future, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Also, please ensure that you have fully updated your theme to the latest version of it and also, please ensure that you have updated your required plugins to the latest version of theme (Social Counter 4.0 and Visual Composer 4.11.2), clear all your caches and check again the results. Also, please try the theme without any untested plugins which could interact with the theme and might create a lot of unknown issues.
Also, if your problem is still there after these tips, please try to make a new install with the latest version of the theme and check how it works the default state of the theme on your side.

The error message states that the folder you want to create already exists. please use the ftp method to update the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and for visual composer, please acces your plugin files via ftp and delete js_composer. Then install it again.
Revolution slider and visual composer cannot be “activated”. You can ignore the messages about the plugin activation as the version of the plugins that we provide with our theme are free versions that do not have activation codes, but work properly without it.

The logo is a big image so a header style that uses the full logo is the best choice (9, 10 or 11)
The stretched grid does not seem to position properly for the site as the content is stretched. You can use revolution slider to create a full width slider below the menu like in this demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_blog_travel/ (the slider is already included in the theme archive under demo sliders) or you can use one of the big grids: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/big-grid-9/
The rest are simply a selection of block elements on the homepage.

there could be a plugin conflict. I just copied the code snippet and added it inside a simple text element in the widgets area. Try to disable all plugin except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. then try again.

Please keep in mind that our theme is very complex and we do not recommend using untested plugins because these could make some interferences with the theme code and might cause a lot of unknown issues, like this.

First of all, please try to switch your theme to default one and check if there you will have this problem on the search page. Also, please try to make a new install with the latest version of the theme and check there if this issue persists. It is very important to try this because it is possible that your install to be affected and that’s why to appear this issue on the search page. Please try to make this new install and update your theme from scratch without untested plugins, only with Visual Composer and see hot it works. After this, if your problem is still there after these changes, please let us know. The best thing to do in this case is to simply download the l;atest version and install it via ftp. The code was changed in such a way from your version that updating with the patches has the same result as simply updating directly. Please also make sure you update the plugins that come with the theme (visual composer and social counter)

Hi,

The pages are not able to render the featured image and also pages cannot display as posts. They are 2 very different things. A post is customized from the post settings by selecting a predefined post template, but pages can be edited in visual composer so you have access to lots of elements that posts cannot display like blocks, big-grids, sliders and all visual composer elements.
